Leanne's gorjuss candy!
Sketch Saturday #61
This is my card for this week’s sketch saturday challenge, better late than never! I used a download from Lily Boo’s Boutique from a set called ‘boys and their toys’ and coloured it with my promarkers. The papers are by DCWV from ‘the stack’ (yes again lol!) and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The ribbon is Anita’s and the buttons are from my stash. The stamped sentiment is by elusive images and the brother gel sticker is from a pack by creative imaginations (my printer was out of ink at the time so couldn’t print out a sentiment grr….) I really enjoyed using the sketch this week and will be using it again I’m sure. Thanks for stopping by today.

Creative card crew challenge #21
I made this card for Sue, one of my fellow DT members over at passion for promarkers, but unfortunately I sent it rather late for her birthday (only a month lol!) and then forgot to put a sentiment on it – d’oh!! I used an image by High Hopes called ‘Tidy up Tillie’ (available from Dies to Die For) and coloured it with my promarkers. The striped paper is a freebie from a magazine and the plain pink cs is from the papermill shop. The blue cs is bazzill bling and again is available at Dies to Die For. I used my swiss dots embossing folder in the CB to add a bit of texture to the cs. The flower heads are from Joanna Sheen, the larger blue flowers are imaginisce and the other flowers are from my stash. I thought I’d enter this card for this week’s creative card crew challenge which is ‘girls just wanna have fun’ – well some girls like cleaning (not me mind you I think I’m allergic haha!). Thanks for stopping by today.

Stamp with Fun #16/ABC challenge
This week’s stamp with fun challenge is ‘pearls’ and the ABC challenge is up to ‘y for yellow’. I made this card for my auntie to give to her son for his birthday and the colours were the rugby team he used to play for. I stamped the paper nation rugby man and coloured him with promarkers. The gingham paper is from my stash and the black and white paper is by DCWV. The plain cs is from the papermill shop. I created the sentiment on the pc and punched the stars with my dovecraft punch. The circles were cut with my woodware punch and the adhesive pearls are kanban. The weather is awful here today, torrential rain and very windy – hope it’s a bit better where you are. Thanks for stopping by today.

New Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge
Passion for Promarkers #10 – DT card
Welcome to week 10 over at Passion for Promarkers. I’m extremely late posting my card as I thought I’d scheduled the post but unfortunately I must have had short-term memory and dreamt it up lol! This week’s challenge was chosen by Maria and the colour combo is Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink along with a sketch, which you must use. I decided to use my new Greeting Farm image called ‘hula anya’ and I coloured her with the following promarkers:
Dress – Cool Aqua, blender and pastel blue
Hair – Cinnamon and cocoa
Skin – Ivory, blush and pastel pink
Flowers – Pastel pink and blender
I also outlined the image with the cool aqua marker.
The papers are all DCWV from ‘the stack’ a 12x12 paper pad I got recently from QVC and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The decorative edge was cut with my new martha stewart simple scallop punch and the ribbon, flower, brad and buttons are all from my stash. The sentiment is craftwork cards and the oval was cut with my SU oval punch.
Our challenge this week is sponsored by Daisy May Designs and one lucky crafter will win 5 sheets of downloads from their online shop.
If you haven’t already please do check out the DT cards this week, the team have outdone themselves once again. I look forward to visiting all your blogs and seeing your gorgeous creations. Thanks for stopping by today.

Sally's Blog candy
Cupcake Craft challenge #50 – DT card
The cupcake craft challenge this week was chosen by Stephanie and the challenge was to use pink, green and brown with animals and flowers. When I first read the challenge I thought it was a lot to fit into one card but actually once I started making it everything seemed to fit together nicely. I used my new adorable GF image called ‘snuggle’ and coloured her with promarkers. I used gorgeous paper by DCWV which is from a 12x12 paper pad called ‘the stack’ which I got recently from QVC and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. I’m so excited as I recently got myself some martha stewart punches (I know way behind everyone else as usual but I’m happy now) and I punched the decorative edge of the brown cs and paper with the ms embossed zigzag edge punch. I decided to have a go at colouring my flowers, ribbon and adhesive stones with my promarkers (after seeing such a fantastic tutorial over at passion for promarkers last week) and I’m really happy with the results. The ribbon is Anita’s, the flowers are from my stash and the adhesive stones are PM. The spacers are from ebay and the pearl brads are also PM. I hope you will check out the DT cards at CCC this week as they are all stunning and I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your wonderful creations. Thanks for stopping by today.

Papertake challenge/Creative Card Crew #20
The papertake challenge this week is a ‘take your pick colour combi’ and we can take our pick from the following colours - pink, black, white, yellow, green, grey and lilac. The challenge explained that we can use as many or as few colours as we like with skin/hair colours as extra colours. The creative card crew challenge asked for ‘polka dots’. My colour combo is pink and white and I made this card for a lady as work who was going to a christening. I stamped the forever friends image and coloured it with my promarkers. The papers, flowers and ribbon are from my stash. The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive stones are PM. The gorgeous teddy charm was a RAK. I cut the decorative edge on the dotty paper with a pair of fiskars scallop scissors. Well the weather here is the complete opposite of yesterday’s – torrential rain – yuk!. Hope you are having a good day whatever you’re up to. Thanks for stopping by.

The stamp something challenge this week is ‘bugs, butterflies and other winged somethings’ so I decided to enter this card. I made this card a few weeks ago for Ida’s birthday (she is my fellow DT member at passion for promarkers and also cupcake craft challenge). I used a download from CC designs called ‘heidi’ which I bought from All That Scraps and coloured her with my promarkers. The gorgeous papers are again MME from the bloom and grow paper pad and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment is PB and the ribbon is from my stash. The adhesive stones are PM. I hope you are enjoying the fine and sunny weather, I’m fed up with all the torrential rain we’ve been having this week, it’s nice to see some blue sky. Thanks for stopping by today.

Stamps & Smiles #24/Secret Crafter #41
This is my card for two challenges this week. Stamps and smiles is a sketch, as usual, and the secret crafter challenge is ‘spots and stripes’. I had to make a card for a lady at work so decided to combine these themes into my card. The image and small sentiment is by stamping up from the ‘cheers to you’ set (which I ordered from Jules) and I coloured my image with promarkers and a white gel pen. The patterned papers are by imaginisce and the plain brown paper is from a paper pack I got from QVC. The sentiment is hero arts and the adhesive stone stars are PM. I really like the simplicity of this card and I think it’s perfect for a man. Thanks for stopping by today.

PFP Week 9 – DT card
This week’s challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours Rose Pink and Lime and was chosen by the lovely Ida and we are lucky to be sponsored by Papirloftet a craft store based in Norway. They do the most gorgeous embellishments (flowers, ribbon, lace etc) as well as papers and all the usual crafty stuff. All of the DT were sent a goodie bag with some of their products to use on our cards. I decided to use as much as I could and I only added the image (and of course promarkers to colour it), the tiny brad to hold the charm and the stamps away journalling stamp I used on the inside, everything else was provided by Papirloftet. I used an image kindly sent to me by Gina (I’m using them up lol!) and coloured it with the following promarkers:
Hair – Sandstone, cinnamon and cocoa
Jacket & boots – Rose pink and blender
Skirt, umbrella & buttons – lime green and blender
Skin – Ivory and blush
Socks – Meadow green, blender and cool grey 1
For the outline I used cool grey 1 and I added highlights to the hair with a white gel pen.
I don’t very often make gatefold cards but as one was provided I decided to use it and I’m really happy with the way it turned out – not my usual style (no patterned paper – OMG) but good nonetheless. One thing I did forget to do was cover the back of my image with a plain piece of card to cover the colouring and also the back of the brad!
Please don’t forget to check out all the DT cards as they are stunning. The lucky person chosen this week will win a gorgeous pack of goodies from Papirloftet (I’m so jealous, look at those flowers – yum!).
We hope you can find the time to enter our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing all your gorgeous creations. Thanks for stopping by today.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #49 – DT card
The cupcake craft challenge was chosen by Pops (Paula) this week and the theme is ‘christmas card’. I am quite pleased as its another one made and in the box ready (cos I know I’ll leave most of them until last minute). I used an image kindly sent to me by Gina (again) and coloured her with my promarkers – don’t look too closely at the hair as I had a bit of a nightmare! The papers are all DCWV from the rose-tinted christmas paper pad. The adhesive stones are PM and the sentiment is craftwork cards. The snowflakes were cut out with my dovecraft punch and the ovals were cut with my SU punches. The plain cs is from my stash. I’m also entering this card for the friday sketchers challenge (I used their sketch) and also for cute card thursday as their theme is also ‘xmas in July’. Thanks for stopping by today.

Dutch Dare #56
The dutch dare challenge this week is ‘use cutting dies and/or punches’ so I came up with this card. I stamped the greeting farm image and coloured it with my promarkers. The dp is doodlebug and the green cs (which I put through the CB with the divine swirls folder) is from the papermill shop. The yellow cs is from my stash and I cut the decorative edge with my fiskars border punch. The flowers were cut out with my ek success retro flower punches (small and medium) and the swirl was cut with my sizzix die. The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive pearls are kanban. The sentiment was created on the pc and the ovals were cut with my SU punches. I faux stitched around the edges with a black fineliner pen. It’s absolutely pouring with rain here so I will be tucked up inside crafting today *yay*. Thanks for stopping by today.

ASFOS #60 & Colour Create #23
Hello and welcome to the weekend! This is my card for 2 challenges – a spoonfull of sugar challenge is a sketch this week and the colour create challenge is blue and white with the optional extra of vintage. I stamped the SN image ‘demure’ and coloured her with my promarkers. The gorgeous dp is all BG from the marrakech paper pad. The flower heads are from Joanna Sheen and the blue flowers are from my stash. The adhesive stones are PM and the sentiment was created on the pc. I know this isn’t totally vintage but I think the image lends itself to a vintage feel (I think so anyway lol!). Thanks for stopping by today, hope the weather has improved where you are (it’s dry here at the moment).

Stamptacular challenge #15
The stamptacular challenge this week is a lovely sketch so I decided to combine this with an order for a lady at work (her daughter wanted a card to give to her dinner lady at school lol!). I used a gorjuss girl image kindly sent to me by Gina and coloured her with my promarkers. I used stunning dp by My Mind’s Eye from the ‘bloom & grow’ paper pack (you will be seeing lots more of this as it’s gorgeous). The flowers were cut out with my medium ek success punch and the adhesive stones are PM. The sentiment was created on the pc. I kept the sketch pretty much as is and didn’t fuss very much with it but I’m really happy with the final result. Apologies for the slightly ‘wonky’ photo! Thanks for stopping by today.

PFP Week 8 - DT card
Welcome to Passion for Promarkers week 8 and this week’s challenge has been set by the lovely Helen. Her choice of colours this week is Ruby and Gold with the added twist of gems and jewels (not too difficult lol!). I used a gorjuss girl image (kindly sent to me by Gina) and coloured her with the following promarkers:
Hair – cinnamon, cocoa, raw sienna
Dress - tights and shoes – ruby and red
teddy – gold and apricot
skin – blush, ivory and pastel pink
Shading around image – cool grey 1
I also added highlights with a white gel pen.
The red dp is BG from the marrakech paper pad and the gold dp is SU. The ribbon is from my stash - pleased with my bow again :o) . The stars are adhesive stones from PM and the adhesive pearls are kanban. I used my ek success retro flower (medium and small) punches for the flowers. Don’t forget to check out the other DT cards as they are absolutely stunning. Our sponsor this week is Emerald Crafts and they have donated a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online shop.
I will be back later with pics of my gorgeous cards and goodies that I received for my birthday. Thanks for stopping by today.
