I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday – doesn’t the weekend just whizz by too fast! I have a card to show you today which fits the challenges over at just cute bears challenge, which is ‘congratulations’ and die cut dreams challenge which is ‘bears’. I used a FF image and coloured it with my promarkers and I added some stickles to their wines glasses and the brides head-dress. The gorgeous shimmery patterned card is DCWV from the luxury stack and the plain card is also DCWV from the metallic stack. The flower was cut with the three sizes of ek success retro flower punch and the leaves were cut with my L’em branch punch. The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive pearls are kanban. There is also a piece of white tulle ribbon but its so sheer its difficult to see in the picture. Don’t forget to pop back tomorrow to see my DT card for stamp with fun and cupcake craft challenge. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Nearly the weekend!!
Here is a card I made a little while ago that I didn’t get a chance to post. Luckily for me it now fits in with a few challenges around at the moment :) I used a gorgeous sugar nellie image called ‘catch a butterfly’ and coloured her with my promarkers. The paper is DCWV from ‘the stack’ and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was created on the pc and cut out with my circle nesties. The adhesive pearls are BG and the ribbon is SU. Not too much going on but I liked the simplicity of the layout. This card fits in with the following challenges:
Creative inspirations – feminine
Quixotic challenge – flutter-by
Cute card Thursday challenge – blooming gorgeous
Dutch dare challenge – summer in winter
A spoonfull of sugar challenge – freestyle
I hope you are having a good week, thank goodness it’s Friday tomorrow. It’s been such a busy and stressful time in work lately that I’m wishing my life away so that the weekends to come around! Hopefully things will improve soon (fingers crossed). Thanks for stopping by.
Susie’s sassy challenge #7 – DT card
Wow I can’t believe how fast the week’s are flying by- we’re already on challenge 7 of Susie’s sassy challenge. This week’s challenge has been chosen by yours truly and the theme is ‘red, white and blue’. I don’t really know why I chose this as my theme but as it was my brother-in-law’s birthday yesterday I decided to combine the two. I used a fun digi image from charmed crafts called ‘policeman George’ from the ‘George at work’ set as my BIL is a policeman! I used my promarkers to colour him in and the sentiment was created on the pc. The gingham paper is from my stash (no name) and the plain card is from the papermill shop (the background card is a navy blue, although it looks black in the picture). I used my diamond plate embossing folder in the CB on the red card and cut out the stars with my quickutz cookie cutter. The white card, ribbon and buttons are from my stash.
The prize for this challenge is a Guest Designer spot for challenge #9 that starts on the 25th of February, so definitely worth having a go!! Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all stunning once again. I can’t wait to see what you create and look forward to visiting your blogs.
I’m also entering my card into the following challenges:
A spoonfull of sugar challenge – freestyle
Digital Tuesday challenge – make those men laugh
Fab ‘n’ funky challenge – use any digi image or sentiment
Daring cardmakers challenge – what’s the point
Dare you to digi stamp challenge – buttons
I hope you all have a good day. Thanks for stopping by.

The Greeting Farm CHA relay – day 3
It is so sad, I just went over the greeting farm site to upload my card for day 3 of their CHA digi relay but unfortunately they have decided to cut it short due to technical problems with their galleria. It was supposed to run for 5 days and then on the 6th day everyone that had completed all 5 days would receive a bonus digi image. They have promised “something special” when they get back from CHA so we’ll all have to stay tuned.
Anyway I thought I would share my card with you as I’ve made it!! I used the super cute “Toby cub” image and coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are a mixture of SU and DCWV and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The ribbon and sentiment (from the circle of friendship set) are both SU and the buttons are from my stash. I used my oval nesties to cut out the image and my MS doily lace border punch for the decorative edge. He is such a cute image and I’m sure will come in very useful with baby/toddler cards in the future.
My card can also be entered into the following challenges:
Dare you to digi stamp challenge – buttons
Die-cut dreams challenge – bears
A spoonfull of sugar challenge – freestyle
Creative card crew challenge – punch it
Fab ‘n’ funky challenge – use any digi image or sentiment
Simon says challenge – baby
Stamp something challenge – funny somethings
Saturday spotlight challenge – let the sunshine in
Wow I haven’t fulfilled that many challenges in one card for a very long time (and most were completely by accident – don’t you just love it when that happens lol). Please check tomorrow to see my DT card for Susie’s sassy challenge. Thanks for stopping by today.

I coloured her with my promarkers and the papers are all BG from the new origins paper pad. The card and ribbon are both SU (chocolate chip). I used my rectangle nesties to cut out the image and the adhesive stones are PM. The sentiment is a rub-on by pebbles inc. The flowers were cut with my small ek success retro flower punch. Passion for Promarkers #36 – DT card
This week over at Passion for Promarkers we have a colour combo for you to use as chosen by our GDT Anjie. She would like to see your projects using ‘pastel green and blossom’ as the predominant colours on your image. For my card I used a new image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Valentine Felicity’ (which is part of the offer of the month at DSB at the moment) and I coloured her with the following promarkers:
Coat – blossom
Hat – blossom and pastel green
Boots and scarf – pastel green
Flowers and heart – magenta, carmine and pastel green
Skin – ivory, blush and pastel pink
Hair – tan and caramel
Shading – ice grey 1
The pretty paper is K&Co from the sparkly sweet paper pad and the plain card is from the papermill shop. For the light green panel I used my paisley embossing folder in the CB and highlighted some of the pattern with a white gel pen. I used my MS valentine lace border punch to create the decorative edge and my circle nesties to cut out the image. The butterflies were a gift from Tracy at Dies to Die For (she is always so generous when she sends orders out and adds lots of little die-cuts). The flowers were from tabby crafts and I coloured them with my pastel green promarker to match my image. The leaves were cut with my MS frond punch and the sentiment was stamped with my elzybells ‘everyday greetings’ stamp set (I’ll probably go through a phase of using this for a while now lol!). The pretty picot edge ribbon is from fantastic ribbons and the adhesive stones are PM.
Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online shop, definitely a prize worth winning!
Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all stunning. I can’t wait to see what you make this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.
I am also entering my card into the following challenges:
Simon says challenge – punch it
Crafty catz challenge – love
Raise the bar challenge – the gift that keeps on giving
Allsorts challenge – hearts and flowers
Totally gorjuss challenge – dimension
Thanks for stopping by today.

The Greeting Farm CHA digi relay
This is my card for The Greeting Farm’s CHA digi relay. Every day they are giving a free digi image to everyone but you have to make a card using the previous days free digi to get the next one. This is a very quick post as the deadline for the first card is almost up!! The first free digi is this super cute image called merman Ian and I coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are DCWV from ‘the stack’ and the plain card is from the papermill shop. I cut out the image with my oval nesties and I used my L’em branch punch to make it look like seaweed at the bottom of the sea. I found these clear adhesive dots in my stash and I thought they looked a lot like bubbles so I dotted those around the image. I added stickles to his tail and around his waist. I used my MS scalloped border punch for the decorative edge. I haven’t added a sentiment yet as I’m not sure who the lucky recipient will be. Thanks for stopping by today.

Cupcake craft challenge #75 – DT card
Warning – lots of pics today!!
Sorry, I went a bit mad with my photos for today’s cupcake craft challenge – I hope you are all still with me?? Our challenge this week has been set by Liza and she would like to see you ‘matching sets’. For my set I made a card and a matching decorated jar (which will be filled with yummy sweets at a later date). Our sponsor this week is Instyle Stamps and the DT were lucky enough to be given a digi image to use for our samples. I’m using a gorgeous image called ‘Kylah sitting’ and I coloured her with my promarkers. The papers are all making memories from the ‘meg’ paper pack and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the flowers were made with the 3 sizes of ek success retro flower punches. I “crumpled” them up a bit so that they look a little distressed. I used my circle nesties to cut out the image and my MS embossed zig-zag border punch for the decorative edge. The sentiment is elzybells from the ‘everyday greetings’ set (a really useful set as you can customise your greetings). The leaves were cut with my MS frond punch.
As I mentioned our sponsor this week is Instyle Stamps and the lucky winner will receive 4 digi images of their choice.
The rest of the DT have created some gorgeous matching sets so please check them out.
I am also entering my card into the following challenges:
Digital Tuesday challenge – sketch
Creative card crew challenge – punch it
Simon Says challenge – punch it
Totally Gorjuss challenge – dimension (my flowers)
Cute Card Thursday challenge - fairy fantastic
A spoonfull of sugar challenge - lots of layering
I can’t wait to see what you create and look forward to visiting your blogs. Thanks for stopping by today.
Stamp with Fun #43 – DT card
Hello and welcome to another challenge over at stamp with fun. This week our theme is ‘baby’ and as you know I love making baby cards!! It was actually good timing as a lady at work asked me to make a keepsake card for her grand-daughter (who was born in December) so that she could put it in her memory box. I used a gorgeous digi image from Victoria Case Art Designs and coloured it with my promarkers. The papers are by craft creations and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive stones were a birthday present from my fellow welsh blogger Clare. The gorgeous lace and flowers are from tabby crafts and I added stickles to the flowers for a bit of extra bling. The leaves were cut with my L’em punch and I used my new oval nesties to cut out the image. My finished card is A5 in size.
Our sponsor this week is Kreativart and the lucky winner will receive some very pretty 3D stickers.
The rest of the DT have created some beautiful samples for your inspiration, so if you have the time please go and take a look. I can’t wait to see all your gorgeous baby cards this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.
I am also entering my card into the following challenges:
A spoonfull of sugar challenge – lots of layering
Creative card crew challenge – punch it
Papertake weekly challenge – pretty pink papertake (anything pink)
Simon says challenge – punch it (also DT call)
Raise the bar challenge – the gift that keeps on giving (use something that has been given to you as a gift)

Blog candy winner!
Anyway enough of my rambling you want to know who the lucky winner is of the greeting farm stamp set. I deleted any duplicate entries (just to make it completely fair) and there were a total of 234 entries. I used random.org to choose the winner and that is:
Thanks to everyone for entering my candy, I’ll hopefully be back later with a card to show you.

It’s candy time!
**THE CANDY IS NOW CLOSED**
Hello everyone, I hope you’ve managed to stay warm today (it’s been absolutely freezing here I can tell you).
I recently passed 30,000 hits on my blog and so I thought I’d celebrate by offering some candy. Here is what you can win:
That’s right I have one brand new set of The Greeting Farm’s new stamp set called ‘Miss Anya Love’. You know how much I love TGF and when I ordered myself a set (from Dies to Die For) I decided to get one for my candy too. I will also be adding more items to the candy for every 50 comments I receive :)
To be in with a chance of winning this beautiful stamp set all I want you to do is leave me a comment and tell me what you really love (it doesn’t have to be a craft thing). I will leave this post at the top until 22nd January 2010 so there’s plenty of time to enter. You don’t have to become a follower but I would really appreciate it if you would spread the word by adding a link on your blog (sidebar is fine). Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

This week over at Passion for Promarkers our challenge is ‘girls, girls', girls’, in other words we want to see your girlie images this week. Also you are free to use any colour promarkers you like *yay*.

Cupcake craft challenge #74 – DT card
This week over at cupcake craft challenge it was Kathrin’s turn to choose our challenge and she has give us a wonderful sketch to follow. Our sponsor this week is Di’s Digi Downloads and she kindly gave each of the DT one of her digi images to use.
Now it was a difficult decision to decide which one to have as they are all so cute but I plumped for ‘Maisy sitting with Kaboodle’ and coloured it with my promarkers (adding stickles to the centres of the flowers). The papers are all making memories from the ‘Meg’ paper pack and the plain card is from the papermill shop. I used my swiss dots embossing folder in the CB and ran a colorbox cats eye chalk inkpad over the top to highlight the embossing. I cut out the circle with my nesties and the buttons are doodlebug. The sentiment is a rub-on by pebbles inc.
Our lucky winner will receive 5 digi images courtesy of Di’s Digi Downloads and as I said there are so many cute images to chose from you’ll be in digi heaven!!
The rest of the DT have done a fantastic job with Kathrin’s sketch and I hope you’ll pop over and take a look.
I’m also entering my card for the following challenges:
Dare you to digi stamp challenge – Buttons
ABC challenge (yes again) – L is for layering
Crafty Catz challenge – Birthday card
Digital Tuesday challenge – Emboss it
One Stop Craft Challenge – Fancy edges or corners (scalloped edge on circle)
I can’t wait to see what you come up with and look forward to visiting your blogs. Thanks for stopping by.
Stamp with fun #42 – DT card
Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at Stamp with Fun. This week we have a lovely sketch by Saphira to follow. For my card I used a new digi image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Shelly turtle & cake’ and coloured it with my promarkers. There are five new cute turtle images available over at DSB and at the moment they are on an introductory offer of 5 for £3.50 – a bargain I’m sure you’ll agree. The papers are BG (Phoebe) and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The sentiments are craftwork cards (sorry I had to use the flash and it glared off the pearlescent finish) and I used my SU oval punches behind them. The swirls were cut with my ek success punch and the adhesive pearls are from my stash. The ribbon is making memories.
Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are stunning as usual. I can’t wait to see what you create and look forward to visiting your blogs. I’ll be back later with my cupcake craft challenge DT card.
I’m also entering my card into the following challenges:
