Spring candy at DigiStamp Boutique

As Sally-Ann is launching some new spring digi images on Monday she has decided to offer some gorgeous spring candy over at DigiStamp Boutique.  Although you’ll have to be quick as it ends on Monday 1st March.  The candy is so lovely and the paper pads are very yummy (I’ve even ordered the polka dot paper myself as I fell in love with it lol!).  The new images are so cute, with little bunnies (see image above), cute chicks and even some new coco the bear images – you will definitely fall in love with them.  They will be available to buy at DigiStamp Boutique on Monday.

Digi-Friday over at Passion for Promarkers

Every Friday over at Passion for Promarkers we have a weekend workshop where one of the DT share an amazing tutorial on how to get the most out of your promarkers.  However beginning this week we are launching our Digi-Friday on the weekend workshop.  We have secured some brilliant digi companies who are going to sponsor us and each week one the DT will use their images for their tutorial.

Susie’s sassy challenge #9 – DT card

The new challenge over at Susie’s sassy challenge this fortnight has been chosen by Lisa and it is a colour combo – aqua and lilac.  The DT were all given images by Roberta at Prairie Fairy Designs and I’ve used a gorgeous image called ‘snow fairy’.  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added stickles to her wings.  The papers are all making memories from the ‘meg’ paper pack and the ribbon is also making memories.  The flower is from my stash and the snowflake was cut with my MS arctic snowflake punch.  The jewel brad is PM and the adhesive stones are kaisercraft.  The sentiment is by Anita’s and I used my SU and woodware circle punches to cut it out.  The swirls were cut with my EK success flourish punch.

Passion for Promarkers #40 – DT card

Our theme this week over at passion for promarkers challenge has been chosen by our GDT Tracy.  She would like us to use the colour combo tulip yellow and baby pink but also include some stitching on our projects.  For my card I used a sweet CC designs digi image called ‘Rosalie with roses’ and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Dress, shoes and roses – baby pink and cocktail pink

Details on dress, socks and ribbon in hair – tulip yellow and sunflower

Hair – tan, caramel and satin

Skin – ivory, blush and pastel pink

Shading around image – ice grey 1

The papers are all from my scrap box and the yellow card is from the papermill shop.  I used my oval nesties to cut out the image and my SU oval punches to cut out the sentiment (which is a pebbles inc rub-on).  The ribbon is SU and the adhesive gems are from my stash.  The tiny rosebuds are from wild orchid crafts and the faux stitching was created with a black fineliner pen.  My card didn’t turn out anything like I planned but I’m quite happy with the finished result.

Cupcake craft challenge #79 – DT card

Our theme this week over at cupcake craft challenge has been chosen by the lovely Catherine and is ‘friends’. As soon as I heard the theme I thought of this funky image by Mo Manning called ‘Psst Dani and Taylor’ and I coloured the image with my promarkers. The papers are all magazine freebies and the plain card is from the papermill shop. I used my MS zigzag embossed border punch and the sentiment is SU from the best yet stamp set. The white flower is from my stash and the pink roses and pearl stem decorations are from wild orchid crafts. The adhesive stones are from my stash. I made this card for my son to give to his friend at school (who is 16) – quite appropriate I think!!

Stamp with fun #47 – DT card

This week’s theme over at stamp with fun challenge is ‘stitching’. For my card I used an image from DigiStamp boutique called ‘Harold and football’ and coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are all imaginisce and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was created on the pc and the buttons are from my stash. I used normal cotton thread for my ‘cross’ stitches and to sew on the buttons. This card was made for my nephew, who is 21 today! Happy Birthday Jonathan x I can’t believe where the time has gone (showing my age now lol).

Passion for promarkers #39 – DT card

Here is my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  The lovely Sue has chosen the theme of ‘buttons and bows’ for us, although we can use any colour promarkers we like, as long as we follow the theme.  For my card I used an adorable freebie digi image from Motivet and coloured it with the following promarkers:

Cat – ice grey 1, 2, 3 and 4 and pastel pink for the nose

Flower – burnt orange, orange, meadow green, apple green, caramel and cinnamon 

Ice grey 1 for the shading around the image

The glittery card is DCWV from the glitter stack, the orange flowery paper is just a scrap and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  I used my rectangle nesties to cut out the image and my MS doily punch for the decorative edge.  The sentiment was created on the pc and the buttons and ribbon are from my stash.  I made this card for my MIL’s birthday, which is today – happy birthday June!!

Cupcake craft challenge #78 – DT card

Hello again, I’m back with my card for the cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s theme has been chosen by Victoria and it is “keep it simple”.  Now Victoria is an expert at simple and stylish cards, but I find it a little more difficult.  For my card I used a digi image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Spencer’ who comes together with a female image called ‘Kitty’ and I think you’ll agree they are sooooo cute.  I coloured Spencer with my promarkers and I wrote his name on his bowl with a fineliner pen (it comes blank on the original).  The paper is BG and is called ‘Isaac’ from the ‘Oh baby boy’ range  and the plain card is SU (chocolate chip).  I used my circle nesties to cut out the image and my MS zigzag embossed border punch for the decorative edge.  The ribbon is also SU (chocolate chip) and the cat charm and brad are from my stash.  Again no sentiment as I’m not sure who it will be for yet :)

Stamp with fun #46 – DT card

  

This week’s stamp with fun challenge is a gorgeous sketch by tina46.  For my card I used a digi image by Mo Manning called ‘Jack & Ginger’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  The lovely papers are BG from the wassail paper pad and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The heart was punched with an x-cut punch and the gems were a RAK from Clare.  I pierced holes to create the circle and used my black fineliner pen to create some faux stitches.  I also used the fineliner pen around the image, heart and long panel at the bottom.  I haven’t added a sentiment yet but I think it will be an anniversary card for some friends.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Here is my second post to show you my DT cards for last week. Today I’m going to show you my card for the cupcake craft challenge, which launched on Monday. You still have the rest of today if you want to enter – so go on get creating :) Our theme is “red and white all over”.

We were sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and the DT were each offered a digi image to use if we wished.

I decided to use “Sexy Lady (Sexy Sandy)” and made an easel style valentine’s card for my darling hubby.

I apologise for the really awful pics but I used my new camera and should have read the instructions first I think lol!

I coloured the image with my promarkers and used freebie papers from a craft magazine. The plain card is from the papermill shop and the sentiments were created on the pc. The large hearts were cut with my MS lattice heart punch and I used the MS valentine heart border punch. The ribbon is SU and the brad and gems are from my stash.

I’m back………at last!!

I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last posted but I’ve been having some major issues with my computer.  It caught a nasty virus and had to be wiped clean (a very traumatic and worrying experience!).  Luckily the nice little boy (!) in the computer shop managed to save most of my files so it was just a case of finding all my faves etc on the internet……..no mean feat I can tell you, and I’m still discovering things that I’m missing (and probably will for a long long time!).  I hope you have all been well and keeping warm during this freakishly cold snap we’re having yet again. 

As I wasn’t able to blog my DT cards at the beginning of the week I thought I show you them over the weekend before my new cards are due on Monday and Tuesday. 

The first card I’m showing you today is my DT card for the stamp with fun challenge:

 

Our theme was ‘hearts’ and our sponsor was Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the DT were lucky enough to use one of their digital images if they liked. 

I chose to use ‘Valentine Bonnie’ and I coloured her with my promarkers, adding stickles to her bows and hearts.  The papers are a combination of freebie magazine paper and an off cut from my stash.  The red card is from the papermill shop and the image was cut out with my circle nesties.  I used my MS valentine heart border punch and the adhesive stones were a RAK from Clare.  The ribbon is from fantastic ribbons and the sentiment is a stamp by Anita’s.  The heart brad is from my stash.

Oh my goodness – a card for lots of challenges!

Well there are so many similar challenges around this week that my card (unbelievably) fits in with 19 challenges – definitely a first for me!  I made this card for my parents for their anniversary.  I used a digi image from the greeting farm called ‘Anya valentine’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  I used my new BG papers from the sugar rush paper pad and the sentiment was created on the pc.  The lace and flowers (which I coloured with my promarkers) are from tabby crafts and the heart pins were from ebay.  The image was cut out with my square nesties and the adhesive stones were a birthday pressie from Clare.

Allsorts challenge #37

The current Allsorts challenge has a fab sketch to follow.  They are also running a DT call, so if you are interested check out all the details on their blog.   For my card I used a new digi image from the greeting farm called ‘rain’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The dotty paper is imaginisce and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  I ran the yellow card through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots embossing folder.  The sentiment is elzybells and the adhesive stones are trimcraft.  The flowers were cut with my medium ek success retro flower punch and the buttons are from my stash.  I liked the clean and simple style of the sketch so pretty much left it as it was.  I hope you are having a good Wednesday, can’t believe how fast this week is going!!  Thanks for stopping by.
