Hello again dear friends. As promised I’m back with my last catch up post for this week – thank goodness! Over at the Bee Crafty challenge our monthly challenge is “goodbye/thinking of you”. Unfortunately this will be our last challenge for a while as Merrigan is due to have her second baby any day now and she will have her hands full so she is putting the challenges on hold for the foreseeable future, but rest assured she will be back. Here is my card:
I have used a super image called ‘fluffy bunny pair’ as I thought they looked like they were waving goodbye lol! You can purchase the image in the store here. The image is coloured with promarkers and flex markers. I was delighted when I “discovered” this sentiment in my stamp drawer as it fit perfectly with the theme – it is a clear stamp from elzybells. The papers are my mind’s eye from the ‘true blue’ paper pad and I used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the background. The fancy border was a freebie in a parcel I received from the lovely Tracey at Dies to Die For and i was chuffed when it matched my card perfectly – love it when that happens lol!
The prize as always is 2 digi images of the winner’s choice. Please pop over to the challenge blog and check out Deanne’s gorgeous card too.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Karen’s doodles challenge – cute & cuddly
Moving along with the times challenge – cute critters
Alphabet challenge – animal antics
Chocolate, coffee and cards challenge – orange, brown and teal
The poodles parlour challenge – anything goes
Totally papercrafts challenge – rainbow
Allsorts challenge – free and easy
Catch the bug challenge – anything goes
Stamp, scrap and doodle challenge – punches or die cuts
City crafter challenge – use at least 3 colours from choice (orange, yellow and green (mine is teal)
I hope you can join in with our challenge. You have plenty of time as it lasts until the end of February. I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing what you create. I’ll hopefully be back a little later as I have some candy to offer but until then thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello again friends. This is my second post for today so please scroll down to see my earlier card.
I’m doing another catch up post – this time for the cupcake craft challenge. Our challenge this week is “pink & red” but it doesn’t have to be a Valentine card. Here is my card:
The image is by Pollycraft and is called ‘Luna bitterfrost hearts rock’ and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers. I once again used paper from the my mind’s eye ‘love me’ paper pad and the heart was cut with a go-kreate extra large die (which I cut in the grand caliber).
We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have Pollycraft Designs (who kindly gave me the digi to use on my card) and they are offering a prize of 5 digi images and our second sponsor is Simon Says Stamp and they are offering a $20 gift certificate to use in their online store.
The design team have created amazing cards and projects once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out – you won’t be disappointed I promise. We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. This week our lovely boss lady Faye has set the theme and she has chosen to give us a fantastic sketch to use. I really enjoyed using the sketch and will definitely be using it again. Here is my card:
and here is the sketch:
I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Stan with beer’ and coloured him with promarkers and flex markers and I added some diamond glaze to the froth on his pint of beer. The papers are wild rose studio from the ‘for men’ paper pack and I used my very last scraps of elzybells kraft card (sob!!). I kept the layout really simple as the card is for my uncle and only added a punched star and button. I have to say that I’m quite pleased with the finished card, even though it’s fuss free – makes a nice change sometimes doesn’t it?
Our challenge will last until 24th December but the DT will then have the following 2 weeks off to spend with our families therefore as a special treat this week we have 3 sponsors this week. Firstly we have tickled pink stamps who are offering a prize of either one rubber stamp or two digi's of winner's choice, our second sponsor is Crafty Emma’s store and they are offering a £10 gift voucher and our third sponsor is Digital Delights who are offering 3 images of winner’s choice.
Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor and for December that is Polka Doodles and 2 lucky winners will receive the Pretty Sweet CD.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Corrosive challenge – anything except Christmas
The crafty pad challenge – anything but Christmas
Cute card Thursday challenge – stripes (on his shirt??)
Little miss muffet challenge – buttons and ribbons (hope it’s ok that I only have 1 of each)
Frosted designs challenge – ribbon
Really reasonable ribbon challenge – anything goes + ribbon
Totally papercrafts challenge – time to party

Totally gorjuss challenge – for someone special
Paper sundaes challenge – celebrate

I would like to welcome my newest follower Karen Letchworth who left me the most kindest, loveliest comment – it was much appreciated hun and I hope you continue to like my creations.
I have to try and get organised tonight – I still haven’t written my cards, although at least I do have some to write this year and I’ve not wrapped any presents yet!! Nothing like being last minute is there lol! I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by.

Good evening dear friends. I hope you are all ok and have survived this cold and wintery week. A special shout out to all my friends in the North of England and Scotland – I hope you’re all ok and managing to keep warm and safe in all the dreadful weather you’ve been having over the last few days.
I’m having a bit of week this week – I’m behind on posting most of my DT cards so I’m going to have a catch up session today and I’m starting with my DT project for this week’s charisma cardz challenge (which was due yesterday oops!). Our theme this week has been set by Jenni and she has chosen “no cards”. I’m sure you can come up with lots of brilliant ideas, such as tags, bags, boxes etc and for my project I decided to decorate a plain gift bag:
Here is a side view
and a close up of the image
I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique from the “Rudolph” set which is on offer for December. There are two super cute images in the set and they are available at the brilliant price of just £1.50 for both, until January, so grab a bargain now while you can. I coloured the image with my promarkers and flex markers and the papers are scraps from my stash.
We have lots of sponsors this week – firstly we have Bunny Zoe crafts and they are offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
Our second sponsor is Whiff of Joy who are offering one lucky winner a stamp of their choice!
Our third sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and they are are offering 5 digis of the winners choice!
We also have a surprise prize which is chosen from all the entries added to our Facebook page.

Hi everyone, as promised I’m back again with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. This week it is my turn to set the theme and as it’s my son’s 15th birthday next week I decided to get ahead and therefore I chose “card for a teenage boy”. Now I know you’re all going to groan but unfortunately these cards do need to be made from time to time lol! Here is my card:
I used an image from Mo’s digital pencil called ‘gamer’ and coloured him with promarkers and flex markers. This is how you will find my son most days after school, playing on his x-box or on the computer!! The papers are from a really old pack by dovecraft called ‘masculine’ and I used my last sheet of elzybells kraft cardstock!! I kept the embellishments fairly simple, as like most men my son isn’t that fussy with his cards, I die cut some stars and wrapped some twine around them, a few pearls and that was it. The twine is actually green so I don’t know why it looks yellow in the pics (user error again I suppose lol!) My card is A5 in size.
Our sponsor this week is Lili of the Valley and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.
Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor and for November that is Crafts U Love and one lucky winner will receive a £15.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.
The rest of the design team have created wonderful samples for your inspiration as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
OSAAT challenge – anything goes
Stamptacular challenge – boy oh boy
Anything goes challenge – a real sweetie (the gamer has crisps and sweets around him)
Paperminutes challenge – children’s birthday
Scrapbook sisters challenge – anything goes
Stampavie and more challenge – anything but square
CRAFT challenge – stars in your eyes (stars on paper and die cut stars)
Do you stack up? challenge – a splash of blue (I understand if there is too much blue)
Fun with shapes and more challenge – use 3 of something (stars)
Raise the bar challenge – time to feast (the gamer has crisps and sweets around him)
One stop craft challenge – use blue
Sweet stampin’ challenge – birthday (2nd entry)
The beary sweet challenge – your beary best (5th entry)
I hope you will be able to join in with my challenge this week and I look forward to seeing your creations for teenage boys – maybe I’ll pick up some ideas for my eldest son’s birthday in May lol! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by.
Card ingredients:
Image: Mo’s digital pencil – ‘gamer’
Papers: dovecraft – ‘masculine’ paper pack, elzybells kraft cardstock
Tools: promarkers, flex markers, quickutz star cookie cutters, twine from the pretty little ribbon shop, sentiments created on the pc, pearls from the hobby house, nesties labels 1 small
Good morning dear friends. I hope you all had a fantastic Monday. Winter is definitely here – it was very chilly and it stayed really dark and dreary here all day – me not like!!
It’s time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge. The lovely Lisa has set the theme and she has chosen “white on white”. I really love the look of these type of cards but unfortunately they are a nightmare to photograph – and you know my photography skills are not the best anyway lol! Here is my card:
Sadly my husband’s auntie passed away last week so I made this card to send to his uncle and cousin. I know it is a bit girly but I thought it would be ok as his cousin (a woman) will be receiving it too but I chose the colour blue to add a bit of “maleness” to it! The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and is called “quirky flowers” but I don’t think it’s still available as I couldn’t find it in the shop. I coloured the image with promarkers and used 3 different embossing folders for the background. I went a bit mad with the stickles but I think it looks ok. I meant to add a few pearls but I forgot after waiting what seemed like ages for the stickles to dry!!
Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and Sally-Ann is offering our lucky winner the choice of 6 digi images from her store.
The rest of the design team have created stunning cards as usual, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
