Bee Crafty challenge–DT card

** This is my second post for today **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT project

Hello again dear friends.  As promised I’m back with my last catch up post for this week – thank goodness!  Over at the Bee Crafty challenge our monthly challenge is “goodbye/thinking of you”.  Unfortunately this will be our last challenge for a while as Merrigan is due to have her second baby any day now and she will have her hands full so she is putting the challenges on hold for the foreseeable future, but rest assured she will be back.  Here is my card:

Bee crafty challenge - goodbye

Bee crafty challenge - goodbye (close up)

I have used a super image called ‘fluffy bunny pair’ as I thought they looked like they were waving goodbye lol!  You can purchase the image in the store here.   The image is coloured with promarkers and flex markers.  I was delighted when I “discovered” this sentiment in my stamp drawer as it fit perfectly with the theme – it is a clear stamp from elzybells.  The papers are my mind’s eye from the ‘true blue’ paper pad and I used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the background.  The fancy border was a freebie in a parcel I received from the lovely Tracey at Dies to Die For and i was chuffed when it matched my card perfectly – love it when that happens lol!

The prize as always is 2 digi images of the winner’s choice.  Please pop over to the challenge blog and check out Deanne’s gorgeous card too.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Karen’s doodles challenge – cute & cuddly

Moving along with the times challenge – cute critters

Alphabet challenge – animal antics

Chocolate, coffee and cards challenge – orange, brown and teal

The poodles parlour challenge – anything goes

Totally papercrafts challenge – rainbow

Allsorts challenge – free and easy

Catch the bug challenge – anything goes

Stamp, scrap and doodle challenge – punches or die cuts

City crafter challenge – use at least 3 colours from choice (orange, yellow and green (mine is teal)

I hope you can join in with our challenge.  You have plenty of time as it lasts until the end of February.  I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing what you create.  I’ll hopefully be back a little later as I have some candy to offer but until then thanks so much for stopping by.

Bee Crafty–November challenge

Oh my goodness I am hanging my head in shame as I completely forgot to blog my card for this month’s Bee Crafty challenge.  Merrigan I hope you can forgive me!!  Thankfully we still have 10 days until the new challenge begins so I hope you will have a chance to enter.  Our theme this month is all about “explosions or exploding” - consider using an explosion of fiery, sparkly embellishments or think about creating pop up and 'exploding' cards.  Here is my card:

Bee crafty #56 - explosion

Bee crafty #56 - explosion (close up)

Now when I made my card it was almost firework night so I used that as my inspiration.  I used “whimsical girl” but cut her out and snipped off her flowers and added stickles to make it look like she was holding sparklers.  It looks a bit pale in the picture but IRL it is super sparkly!.  I also thought the girl looked like she was looking up at the sky at the firework display!  It is a very simple card; I just used some glittery card by DCWV and orange ric rac for a bit of a colour pop.

The prize as always is your choice of any two downloads (with the exception of the sets & PDFs) from the bee crafty store.

The rest of the DT have made beautiful creations so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Heart song inspirations challenge – gold or glitter

Ooh la la creations challenge – BINGO (die cut, sparkle, ribbon)

Creative craft challenge – minimalistic

Tuesday throwdown challenge – lots of circles

Crafts and me challenge – simples

Delightful challenge – BINGO (add dimension, ribbon/lace, glitter/sparkle)

Scrapbook sisters challenge – anything goes

Stampavie and more challenge – anything but square

Crafty purple frog challenge – use orange

Shelly’s images challenge – anything goes

Southern girls challenge – embellishment BINGO (die cuts, gems, ribbon)

2 sisters challenge – let it sparkle

Crazy 4 challenges challenge – black, white + wow (orange)

Mark’s finest papers challenge – black, white + 1 other colour (orange)

The beary sweet challenge – your beary best (3rd entry)

I really hope you will be able to join in with our challenge – don’t forget you still have 10 days left to play!  Me and hubby went to his auntie’s funeral on Thursday and I have to say it was a beautiful service and there were so many people there it was wonderful to see how loved she was.

I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend so far and that you enjoy your Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by.

Bee Crafty challenge #53–DT card

** THIS IS MY THIRD POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my cupcake craft DT card

Wow what a busy day for me today, and I’m not even here to enjoy it lol!  It’s time for a new monthly challenge over at Bee Crafty challenge and this month our theme is “chopping up images”, so we want you to only use part of an image in a different way to which is was intended.  Don’t forget you don’t have to use a bee crafty image but you must use a digital image to enter our challenges.  Here is my card:

Bee crafty #53 - crop your image

Bee crafty #53 - crop your image (close up)

the image I used is called “bear family” and this is what is looked like originally

Bee Crafty - bear family

I cut out the tiniest bear from the bear family and decided to make a cute little new baby card.  I coloured the bear in pink with my promarkers and made a dotty background using the same colour promarkers.  The papers are a magazine freebie and the circle is embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

As always our prize is 2 images from the Bee Crafty online store.  As you can see from my card the images are so super cute you will be spoilt for choice.

The rest of the DT have created amazing samples for your inspiration so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I’m not linking up my card to any challenges as I don’t have internet access whilst on my hols, although I did follow the Papertake challenge, who had a brilliant sketch by Dawny P.

That’s all from me today (thank goodness I hear your cry lol!) but I’ll be back tomorrow with my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Oh my goodness I have just realised that I didn’t post my DT project for the monthly challenge over at Bee Crafty.  I cannot believe it’s 14th July and it was due on 1st; I’m really sorry Merrigan I hope you will forgive me lol!  The monthly challenge for July is “wedding wishes” and I’m sure you have lots of wedding cards, boxes etc due to be made at this time of year.  I decided for a change to make a cute little wedding favour box and here it is:

Bee crafty #52 - wedding wishes

Bee crafty #52 - wedding wishes (close up 1)

Bee crafty #52 - wedding wishes (close up 2)

Bee crafty #52 - wedding wishes (close up 3)

I used the super cute ‘bride and groom’ image from Bee Crafty and you can see it in the shop here.  I made the box using my go-kreate frilly square dies and just constructed a basic box underneath.  It was really simple to make (well it had to be for me to be able to do it lol!) and I’m really pleased with the finished result.

As always the lucky winner will receive 2 digi images of their choice from the Bee Crafty online store, so definitely a prize worth winning!.  My fellow teamie Deanne has made a stunning card, it is so beautiful and she has used such unusual colours so please pop over to the challenge blog and check it out.

I would like to enter my little box into the following challenges:
