Here is another card I made for a friend at work. I stamped the verve visual flower and stem three times using my marvy markers. I used dp by 3 bugs in a rug and plain cs from the papermill shop. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stones are papermania. A very simple card but it looks quite effective IRL. Thanks for looking.

Lili of the Valley challenge
I thought I'd have a go at the Lili of the Valley challenge this week which was "christmas card". I stamped the hero arts winter kitty image and coloured him with my pro-markers. The dp is from the DCWV christmas wishes multistack and the red cs is from the papermill shop. The gold cs is from my local craft shop and the snowflake punch is dovecraft. The sentiment is from craftwork cards and the adhesive gems are by papermania. A simple card that I will probably mass produce for my christmas cards this year (as I haven't made hardly enough yet)!! Thanks for looking.
A cake with lots of candles!!
I made this card for a friend's 50th birthday. I used an image kindly sent to me by Tracy and coloured it with my pro-markers. The dp is s.e.i. and I cut the edges with a pair of fiskars decorative scissors. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the sentiment was done on my pc. The adhesive stones are papermania. The flower is from my stash and the gemstone brad is also papermania. Thanks for looking.

Birthday kitties
I made this card for a good friend of mine at work. As it was her birthday yesterday I can now show it here. I stamped the penny black kitties and coloured them with my pro-markers. I also highlighted parts of it with a sakura glaze pen. The dp is by the paper company and the plain green cs is from the papermill shop. I used shocking pink self-adhesive ribbon by darice and the flowers are by prima and heidi swapp. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stones are papermania. Thanks for looking.
p.s. thanks for all the good wishes after my fall. The bruises are out and changing colour now but I'm almost back to "normal". I'll definitely take my time going down those steps again hehe!

Oops a daisy!
I'm sorry that I don't have any cards to show you today but I took a little tumble yesterday and I'm feeling the effects today. It was raining buckets last evening and I was giving my husband a lift to the pub when I slipped on our front steps and tumbled down all five of them landing on my back (and bottom). All I could do was sit in a puddle for 5 minutes trying to compose myself (and crying too - I'm a big baby). But seriously OUCH it really hurt. Luckily it was already dark and due to the rain there was no-one around to see my stunts. So anyway today my back, arm (and bottom) are really sore and very tender. I'm feeling really sorry for myself. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow, all being well. Thanks for looking.

Grand prix racer
I was asked to make a card with a grand prix theme and this is what I came up with. Again I reached for my see-d's stamps (as I didn't have anything suitable) and stamped the car and two flags. I cut out the flags with a small pair of scissors and coloured the car with my pro-markers. This was my first attempt at doodling a border around the image and sentiment panel and I was quite pleased with the finished result, will definitely be trying that again. The black cs is bazzill bling, the red checked dp is doodlebug and the glitter card is from the glitter stack by DCWV. The sentiment was done on the pc and the black stones are by papermania. Quite a simple card but it fits the bill. Thanks for looking.

Breast cancer card
Sue at Slumber Cards is running her blog candy called "Think Pink" to coincide with Pink October for breast cancer. The criteria is that you have to make a pink card. I used an image sent to me by Tracy and coloured her with my pro-markers. The dp is a freebie from a craft magazine and the pink cs is from the papermill shop. The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive gems are papermania. The sentiment is called precious friend and although it doesn't have a makers name it is copyright Kolette Hall. The swirly stars are a stamp by verve visual. Thanks for looking.

Gina's birthday
I made a card for Gina's birthday and now that she has put photo's on her blog I am safe to show it here. For the card I used an image kindly sent to me by Diane and coloured it with my pro-markers (I also highlighted a few areas with a white gel pen). The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the dotty dp is a free download (but I can't remember from where). The flowers are from my stash, the ribbon is Anita's and the adhesive stones are papermania. The sentiment is by stampendous. The top pic also shows the matching image folder and notebook that I made. On the image folder I used my cropadile to make the hole for my ribbon to tie (and also one of the fancy eyelets that came in the starter pack). Both sentiments on the folder and notebook are by verve visual. Thanks for looking.

OCC challenge
I had to make a sympathy card so I used the OCC challenge (which this week was a sketch). I stamped the inkadinkado image with versafine onyx black ink. The lovely swirly dp is by doodlebug and the black cs is bazzill bling. The plain blue cs is from the papermill shop . I used adhesive stones by papermania and the sentiment is by PSX. I never like making these cards but I always try to make the best card I can to let the family know I am thinking of them dearly. Apologies for the 'lop-sided' photo (the card is straight IRL - honest!). Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday/Lily of the Valley
I made this card for two challenges. The CCT challenge this week was autumn and the Lily of the Valley challenge was 3-2-1 (i.e. 3 papers, 2 ribbons and 1 button or brad). I stamped the cc designs image and rain stamp (which come separately) and coloured the image with my pro-markers. I used dp from the cabana paper pack by inque boutique and bazzill bling cs. The cream ribbon is american crafts and the orange ribbon is from ribbon mad. The button is from my stash and the leaf pin is from ebay. I thought that the colours were quite autumnal and the rain definitely is!! Thanks for looking.

birthday girl
I made this card for a girl who's turning 11. I coloured the gorgeous image kindly sent to me by Diane with my pro-markers. I used dp by craftybitz and bazzill bling cs. The flowers were cut out of the dp and I added mini buttons to the centres. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stones are by papermania. I apologise for the very crappy photo I think my camera must be playing up (the bazzill bling being so sparkly doesn't help either). Thanks for looking.

Yo-yo boy
I made this card for a boy who's turning 13. I stamped the elzybells yo-yo boy and coloured him with my pro-markers. I'm trying to use up my odd pieces of dp so not sure who makes this particular one but it's very funky. I cut the dp with my decorative scissors to give it the scallop edge. The plain red cs by the papermill shop and the navy cs is bazzill. The sentiments were done on my pc and the brads were from my stash. I'm sorry for the horrible photo - I don't know what happened, although it has been very murky and dark here for the last few days. Thanks for looking.

Penny black ATC
The penny black challenge this week was to make an ATC. I haven't made one for such a long time it was a nice change. I used the dog from my christmas penny black stamp and coloured him in with my pro-markers, I also added stickles to highlight the snow. The dp has been in my stash for so long I can't remember who makes it (or where I bought it from) and the plain cs is bazzill bling. The ribbon is american crafts and the star brad is from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Boys toys
I was asked to make a card for a 30th birthday for a man who likes cycling. I was stumped at first but then I remembered the see-d's set entitled boys toys. I hardly ever use my see-d's stamps but they are handy to keep for situations exactly like this. I stamped the bike image and added the boys toys sentiment around it. I then used my color box chalk eye ink pads and rubbed them over the image to colour the entire panel. I used plain cs from the papermill shop and panels of dp (I know I've used it before but it was my last piece and I can't remember who makes it!). The black cs is bazzill bling and the star brads are from my stash. The sentiments were done on my pc. I find men's cards a challenge but this was well received, so that's all that matters. Thanks for looking.

Birthday hedgies
Here is another "pink and girly" card that I was asked to make. I used an image kindly sent to me by Tracy and coloured it with my pro-markers. I added some sakura glaze to the present. Unfortunately the dp I used didn't have a name on it. The plain cs is from the papermill shop. I punched out some flowers with my x-cut flower punch and added papermania adhesive stones to the centre. The sentiment was done on my pc. Thanks for looking.

60th birthday
A lady at work asked me to make a 60th birthday card for her friend. I stamped the flower by rubber stampede 3 times using my marvy markers. I used a pair of decorative scissors by fiskars to shape the corners of my image panel. The gorgeous dp is basic grey and the plain cs is bazzill bling. I used ribbon and flowers from my stash and adhesive stones by papermania. The sentiment was done on my pc. Thanks for looking.

Pink & girly
I had to make this card for a teenage girl. I stamped the cc designs image and coloured her with my pro-markers, adding a hint of sakura glaze to highlight the dots on her top and buttons on her jeans. I used dp that came free with a cardmaking magazine and plain cs from the papermill shop. The flowers are from my stash and adhesive gems are by papermania. The sentiment was done on my pc. A simple card but quite girly for a teenager I feel. Thanks for looking.

Cupcake bella
I had to make an 18th birthday card so I stamped the bella image and coloured her with my pro-markers. I added stickles to the cupcake frosting and diamond glaze to the cherry. I used gorgeous dp by basic grey and plain cs from the papermill shop. The 18 and alphabet stickers are by k & co (and they are lovely IRL) and the sentiment was done on my pc. The flowers are prima and the adhesive stones are papermania. The heart pin was from ebay and the gingham bow was from ideal world (many moons ago). I also highlighted the swirls on the dp with my sakura glaze pen. Thanks for looking.

Green fingers
I made this card for a lady at work who's father-in-law was 90 years young. He is an avid gardener so that was my theme. I stamped the images from the veggie patch clear set by woodware and coloured them with my pro-markers. I cut out the smaller images to decorate around my main image panel. The dp is from the cabana paper pack by inque boutique and the sentiment was done on my pc. Quite a simple and easy card to make but the recipient loved it! Thanks for looking.
Secret Sister reveal
A little while ago Michelle at the Card Grotto organised a secret sister swap and today we are to reveal who our secret sister was. My secret sister was Julia (who unfortunately doesn't have a blog). The top photo is the card I sent to Julia along with some stamped images and a little notebook that I made for her. The bottom photo (which I pinched from Michelle's blog!!) shows the goodies I sent to Julia. Thank you Michelle for arranging this swap and I hope we can do it again some time. Thanks for looking.

Love birds!
I was asked to make an anniversary card and as I had just received my secret sister parcel I decided to use one of the stamp sets I got. I stamped the two love birds by cc designs and coloured them with my pro-markers. I used bazzill bling cs and ran it through the cuttlebug using the hearts embossing folder. The dp is by creative keepsakes and I used a sakura glaze pen to highlight the word 'LOVE'. I used my marvy scalloped heart punch and punched two hearts from gold mirri card. The sentiment was done on my pc and the ribbon is from my stash. Thanks for looking.
