Hello again dear friends. I hope you’re all having a good day, although the weather is typical for a bank holiday Monday isn’t it? It is absolutely chucking it down here – nice weather for ducks lol!
I’m back to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge and the lovely Jane has set the theme and she has chosen “spring is in the air” (just don’t look out the window when you imagine this theme haha!) It is my auntie’s birthday today so I used this challenge to make her card – Happy Birthday Auntie Celia! Here is my card:
I used a super cute digi image from cc designs called ‘Rosalie with roses’ and I coloured her with promarkers. The papers are again a mix – the striped paper is SU from the subtles pattern paper designer stack and the flowery paper is basic grey from the ‘hello luscious’ paper pad. To add to the spring feel I added some flowers and butterflies.
We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have My Creative Classroom who are offering one seat on any Creative Classroom Course in the next year.
Our second sponsor is Paper Pretties and they are offering one lucky winner 6 images of their choice.
The rest of the design team have created amazing cards as always so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us each week.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Fairy tale challenge – everything goes

It’s not part of the challenge but I also decorated a brown sack to match my card (as very last minute I realised I didn’t have a gift bag for my auntie’s gift. It’s very simple but it looks pretty next to the card:
I would like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:

Good morning dear friends. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and maybe enjoyed a bonfire night party. We didn’t have any fireworks this year as my boys didn’t want any but the rest of the community did so we enjoyed theirs instead lol!
I’m here this morning to share my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week we have a fantastic sketch by Tina46 to use. Here is my card:
and here is the sketch:
I have used another image from saturated canary digis (I think I’m addicted to them!) and coloured her with flex markers and promarkers. The papers are basic grey from the ‘green at heart’ paper pad. The flowers are punched out, embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder and inked with a chalk ink pad. I don’t know why my pics look so fuzzy as they looked ok when I edited them – user error once again I’m afraid!!
The rest of the design team have created amazing cards as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Hello again friends. I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. This week the lovely Sari has set the theme and she has chosen “denim & lace”. You can use the colour of denim or an actual piece of denim (as some of the DT have on their creations). I decided to use the colour of denim and you can see my card here:
I have used a super cute image from Saturated Canary digis called ‘hippie love’ and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers. I used denim effect paper by basic grey but I’m not sure what it’s called and the other papers were off cuts in my stash. I added some faux stitching and distressed all my edges.
Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s Store and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsors and for October we have two!! Firstly we have Polka Doodles and they are offering one lucky winner a copy of their ‘pretty sweet’ CD collection. Good morning dear friends. I hope you all had a fab weekend, but boy don’t they go by too fast. I can’t believe it’s time for work already groan!! However on the positive side it also means it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge. This week we have a wonderful sketch by Tina to work with. I had been asked by a friend at work to make a card for her daughter’s 21st birthday so I decided to combine the two! Here is my card:
and here is the sketch:
I have used a gorgeous image by Sugar Nellie stamps from the simply sassy range called ‘retail therapy’ and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers. The colour scheme was chosen by my friend as her daughter loves these colours. I have to admit I did struggle to find papers that complimented each other and most of these have been in my stash for years. It does look much better IRL and my friend was very happy with it! I recently treated myself to some new magnolia doohickeys dies – the flowers and swirl – and I love them already so expect to see them on all my cards for the next few weeks lol!. The card is 8 x 8 in size and as it was such a layered sketch I think I worked really well on a larger size card.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Good morning dear friends. As it’s Tuesday I’m here with my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge. This week the lovely Julie has set the theme and she has chosen “patchwork”. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the theme as if you saw my cupcake craft card yesterday you will know that our theme over there is also patchwork this week – coincidence or what!! Now I used a patchwork paper yesterday so thought I had better make a patchwork design myself for today’s card. Here is my card:
I used papers from basic grey ‘Olivia’ paper pad and cut them up into small squares and stuck them together to create my larger patchwork square. I then added some “faux” stitches and matted it onto black card. The super cute image is from Lili of the Valley called ‘Maisie two balloons’ and I coloured her with promarkers. I also seem to have gone mad for paper piecing this week as I paper pieced the balloons with some scrap bits of paper I had left from creating my patchwork.
Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as usual, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. This week the lovely Liza has set the theme and she has chosen ‘patchwork quilt’ so we would like to see patchwork of some kind on your creations. Here is my card:
I was lucky enough to find this gorgeous patchwork paper in one of my basic grey paper pads so decided to use that. The image is from wild rose studio called ‘Mia with kitten’ and I decided to do some paper piecing, which I haven’t tried for such a long time. The rest of the image is coloured with promarkers. I think the finished card is a bit busy but overall I’m quite happy with it.
We are sponsored this week by Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a $20.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Good morning dear friends. Another weekend has flown by and it’s back to work already (groan) and this week sees the start of school for most children in England & Wales I think. However my boy’s school have a staggered start so my eldest son goes back on Wednesday and my youngest not until Thursday, which is really silly in my opinion – the boys think it brilliant of course!
I’m here this morning with my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week our theme is very apt – “autumn” as the summer season has definitely come to an end here in South Wales. Here is my card:
I have used a super cute Lilliput image from CC designs called ‘rainy day’ and coloured her with my promarkers and flex markers. The papers are basic grey from the ‘cappella’ paper pad and the flowers are wild orchid crafts. I have to say that I rarely use green but when I do I really like it.
The rest of the design team have created gorgeous creations once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Good Bank Holiday Monday dear friends. It’s so fantastic to have an extra day off from work isn’t it! We’ve got no plans today so I guess I’ll just have to craft lol! I hope you’ve had a great weekend and if you’re out and about today have a brilliant time. Of course if you’re staying home and crafting, like I am, then you’re bound to have a good day!!
I’m here this morning with a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge. This week we have a gorgeous sketch by Andrea-Emmi41 to use. Here is my card:
and here is the sketch:
I have used one of the new August images from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘lil pop girl with flowers’ and it’s part of the offer of the month from the set called ‘lil pops collection 1’. They are so cute and although they are quite small, not too bad to colour, especially if you have the fine nibs for your promarkers. You can get them at a special price at the moment so check them out in the shop here. There is also a second offer of the month which has 3 gorgeous Christmas images, so plenty of reasons to check out the shop.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples, as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Good morning dear friends. I hope you are having a great week so far. Mine is going great (it helps not being in work of course) but it’s going too fast lol! As it’s Thursday it means it’s time for a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge and this week it’s time for Team Gem to share their work (which I’m part of). As from last week the DT has a few new members and we’ve split into two teams – Team Carly and Team Gem – so that means I will only be posting a card once a fortnight now, although I will still be commenting every week. Anyway enough rambling the theme this week is “distressed” and here is my card:
I received my new Go-Kreate XXL scalloped circle dies a few days ago and couldn’t wait to use them so made a circle card for a change. I stupidly didn’t order the XXL plain circles (but I’ve rectified that now lol) so I used the scallops for all the layers, except the image which I cut out with my circle nestie. The super cute image is from Some Odd Girl called ‘snuggle tiny Tia’ and the paper is basic grey from the ‘kioshi’ paper pad. My distressing consists of inking every edge possible with a chalk ink pad. I normally rough up all the edges with a scissors but as all the edges are scalloped I thought this would probably look a bit naff!!
We have two sponsors this week, firstly we have Some Odd Girl (who generously gave me my image) and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digis of their choice and our second sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and they are offering one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice.
The rest of the design team have created amazing creations as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Craft your passion challenge – under the sea or fave season (mine is summer)
