Passion for Promarkers #145–DT card

Good evening dear friends.  I’m sorry for the late post today but time got away from me and I didn’t have time to schedule my post.  I hope you’ve all had a good start to the week – work is crazy as always and I can see this week flying by as fast as last week!!

I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge and the lovely Michele has chosen the theme of “pink, pearls and lace”, which I think will be really popular.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 145 - pink, pearls and lace

PFP challenge 145 - pink, pearls and lace (close up)

I have used a gorgeous image from DigiStamp Boutique from the “Daisy – set 1” collection.  There are three images in total, each as fantastic as this one.  I coloured Daisy with promarkers and once again chalked a cloudy background for her.  The pretty papers are echo park ‘country drive’ and the card is from the papermill shop.  Instead of “real” lace I used a lace effect paper doily.

Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and one lucky winner will receive 6 digi images of their choice.  There are so many gorgeous images in the shop that the winner will have a tough decision narrowing it down to just 6 lol!

DigiStamp Boutique logo

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

A gem of a challenge – gorgeous sketch

Cute card Thursday challenge – spring flowers

Paper sundaes challenge – anything goes

Sentimental Sunday challenge – frame it

Paper playtime challenge – birthday card + sentiment

Crafty sentiments challenge – use a digi

Aud sentiments challenge – spring/summer colours

CCEE stampers challenge – 3 embellishments (pearls, flowers, doily)

Paper crafting journey challenge – 3 or more patterned papers

Card makin’ mamas challenge – make it girlie (2nd entry)

It’s my hubby’s birthday tomorrow so we’re all going out to the cinema and probably grab a pizza as a treat for him.  I am committing the ultimate sin and giving him a shop bought birthday card (I know!!) but in my defence he isn’t really that bothered about cards and I didn’t have a lot of time to make one so thought why stress myself out when he doesn’t care anyway lol!

I hope you can join in with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing what you create.  Enjoy the rest of your evening and thanks so much for stopping by.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Hello dear friends!  I hope you’ve all had a great weekend so far.  I can’t believe the weekend is almost over though – where does the time go?

I’m sharing my DT card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge (although I am a tad late oops!) and the lovely Lynsey has set the theme this week and she has chosen “pretty in pink”.  We want to see all your pink creations and don’t forget it has to be Christmas themed to be eligible.  Here is my card:

I used a super cute freebie image from Mo’s Digital Pencil called ‘snowy day’ and coloured it with promarkers.  I have been dying to use this image for ages and now I have I will definitely be using it again and it was lovely colour and really easy to cut out.  I embossed a piece of white card with my swiss dots embossing folder and just added a strip of doodlebug paper to break it up.  Quite a simple card but I’m quite pleased with the finished result.

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher (excluding p&p) to spend in her online store.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Card makin’ mamas challenge – make it girlie

Passion for Promarkers #137–DT card

Here I am again with a late post but at least I’m actually posting a card this week lol!  Better late than never I suppose.  I hope you’ve all had a good start to the week so far, mine’s been ok, very busy in work but at least the first two days have flown by!  I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge and this week the lovely Nic has set the theme and she has chosen “black & white”.  However we only want to see the colours black and white apart from skin, hair/fur etc. and obviously you have to use your Letraset pens.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 137 - black & white

PFP challenge 137 - black & white (close up)

I have to say I’m really chuffed with how this card turned out.  The image is from Tickled Pink stamps and I coloured him with all the grey promarkers (his hair is actually using warm grey promarkers but it looks a bit brown in the photo).  I made this card for my nephew who is 23 tomorrow so I didn’t “fuss” it too much.  I added 3 card candi, a button and some twine and that was it.  The papers are a mixture but I think they work quite well together.  The card is A5 in size.

Our sponsor this week is Tickled Pink stamps (who kindly gave all the DT an image to use on our cards this week) and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice.

Bee Crafty challenge–DT card

** This is my second post for today **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT project

Hello again dear friends.  As promised I’m back with my last catch up post for this week – thank goodness!  Over at the Bee Crafty challenge our monthly challenge is “goodbye/thinking of you”.  Unfortunately this will be our last challenge for a while as Merrigan is due to have her second baby any day now and she will have her hands full so she is putting the challenges on hold for the foreseeable future, but rest assured she will be back.  Here is my card:

Bee crafty challenge - goodbye

Bee crafty challenge - goodbye (close up)

I have used a super image called ‘fluffy bunny pair’ as I thought they looked like they were waving goodbye lol!  You can purchase the image in the store here.   The image is coloured with promarkers and flex markers.  I was delighted when I “discovered” this sentiment in my stamp drawer as it fit perfectly with the theme – it is a clear stamp from elzybells.  The papers are my mind’s eye from the ‘true blue’ paper pad and I used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the background.  The fancy border was a freebie in a parcel I received from the lovely Tracey at Dies to Die For and i was chuffed when it matched my card perfectly – love it when that happens lol!

The prize as always is 2 digi images of the winner’s choice.  Please pop over to the challenge blog and check out Deanne’s gorgeous card too.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Karen’s doodles challenge – cute & cuddly

Moving along with the times challenge – cute critters

Allsorts challenge – free and easy

Charisma cardz #2–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you’ve had a good week so far, although I can’t believe it’s Thursday already!!  I have so much to do this week and I don’t seem to have achieved very much – story of my life at the moment lol!

I’m here this morning to share my DT card for this week’s charisma cardz challenge and Nina has chosen “clean and simple” as her theme this week.  Here is my card:

Charisma cardz #2 - clean and simple

Charisma cardz #2 - clean and simple (close up)

I have used a super cute image from Stamp Fairy called ‘Lenny – thank you’ that I luckily got as a freebie a little while ago.  I coloured him with promarkers and added a pink glittery bubble sticker to his nose for an extra bit of interest.  I paper pierced around the image and then simply matted and layered onto plain cardstock.  Very clean and simple (and I’m not entirely sure if it’s not too clean and simple lol!).  I’m sorry about the poor pics – I tried all ways to get clearer ones but to no avail!

Our sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy and I have to be honest I’m not sure what the prize is……..but if you pop over to the challenge blog there will be full details there!

Cupcake craft challenge #174–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge and Liza has set the theme and she has chosen “something new”.  You could make a new baby, new home, new job card or just use new stash that Santa brought for you (but if you do please can you let us know what new items you’ve used).  I decided to make a new baby card as I don’t have any in stock and I love making baby cards!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 174 - something new

CCC challenge 174 - something new (close up)

I used a super cute image from Lori Boyd designs and coloured him with promarkers.  I used my favourite paper for baby cards – gingham – and both papers are from wild rose studio ‘gorgeous ginghams’ paper stack.  The blue card is from the papermill shop and the white card is digi stamping card from craftwork cards (which I fed through my paper crimper for added texture).  The layout again is super simple, as its for a boy, I just added a few buttons and gems to finish.  I have to say that this card is much nicer IRL and I’m really pleased with the finished result.

We have two sponsors this week, firstly we have Sew Sweet who are offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Our second sponsor is squiggle stamps who are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images from their online store.

Happy Sunday dear friends.  Where do the weekends go?  I can’t believe it’s already gone 6pm and I haven’t achieved anything yet today lol!  I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend – I have to say the weather here is South Wales has been pretty good, we’ve even seen some sunshine (shhhh don’t want to scare it away)!

I’m a bad DT member again this month as I’m only now sharing my DT card for this month’s Bee Crafty challenge – but hey at least it’s only the 8th this month (*hangs head in shame*).  We have an easy theme this month – we want to see celebratory cards or crafts, this could be to mark the New Year, or be for a birthday, special event etc... just make 'celebration' the theme and we are especially keen to see balloons.  Here is my card:

Bee crafty #58 - celebrations

Passion for promarkers #130–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a great weekend and have recovered from any self inflicted illnesses lol!  We had a quiet New Year’s Eve and the whole family just chilled out, which was nice though.  I haven’t crafted for so long and I have to say it is taken a toll on both my motivation and my mojo, but I’m sure I’ll soon get into the swing of things.

I’m back this morning as it’s time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers challenge and it seems like forever since we had a new challenge as we had our month long Mega Christmas challenge last month.  I have to say it was wonderful to see all your amazing creations and I really enjoyed visiting your blogs.  I have the honour of setting the challenge this week and I have chosen “thank you” as our theme, as I’m sure like me you still have a few cards to make to thank relatives and friends for their Christmas gifts.

I made a very simple card for this week’s challenge although I have to say I’m really pleased with the finished result.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 130 - thank you

PFP challenge 130 - thank you (close up)

I used a super cute digi from Saturated Canary digis which is aptly called “thank you” and coloured her with promarkers and flex markers.  I bought some Martha Stewart PATP punches out of my Christmas money and used just the border punch on this card.  The sentiment is from a clear stamp set by personal impressions and I meant to add some pearls but forgot to lol, but as I say I’m really pleased with it anyway!

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and they are offering one lucky winner a prize of a Promarker Stamping kit.

Cupcake craft challenge #162–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week our lovely competition winner Sandra has set the theme and she has chosen “black & white Christmas”, which sounds pretty easy but in fact I found this a really tough challenge lol!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 162 - black & white Christmas

CCC challenge 162- black & white Christmas (close up)

I have used a new stamp (for me anyway!) by CC designs from their sweet November range called ‘Eira’ and coloured her with a mix of promarkers and flex markers and liberally covered her with stickles.  I created my own background by simply stamping randomly with an old Elzybells snowflake stamp in black ink and I added stickles to the centres of the snowflakes.  It’s hard to tell but I embossed the strip across the card and used a MS snowflake border punch to add some extra decoration.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher (excl p&p) to spend in their online store.

SimonSaysStampBlinkie1

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ and for October we have two fantastic sponsors.  Firstly we have Polka Doodles and they are offering one lucky winner a copy of their ‘pretty sweet’ CD collection.  Our second sponsor is Scrap Affair and they are offering one lucky winner a 5 pack of promarkers.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Stamp with fun #126–DT card

Good Bank Holiday Monday dear friends.  It’s so fantastic to have an extra day off from work isn’t it!  We’ve got no plans today so I guess I’ll just have to craft lol!  I hope you’ve had a great weekend and if you’re out and about today have a brilliant time.  Of course if you’re staying home and crafting, like I am, then you’re bound to have a good day!!

I’m here this morning with a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge.   This week we have a gorgeous sketch by Andrea-Emmi41 to use.  Here is my card:

and here is the sketch:

SWF #126 sketch

I have used one of the new August images from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘lil pop girl with flowers’ and it’s part of the offer of the month from the set called ‘lil pops collection 1’.  They are so cute and although they are quite small, not too bad to colour, especially if you have the fine nibs for your promarkers.  You can get them at a special price at the moment so check them out in the shop here.    There is also a second offer of the month which has 3 gorgeous Christmas images, so plenty of reasons to check out the shop.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples, as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Stamp with fun #125–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend – mine was great – it just went too fast lol!  My bathroom is coming along slowly, although I have a new toilet and vanity unit *woohoo* – I think it will be a few more weeks yet though until it’s completely finished – I can’t wait!

Onto my card and as it’s Monday it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge and this week our theme is “summer”.  I don’t think our summer is going to last much longer as the nights are beginning to “draw in” and there is a definite chill in the air, so let’s make the most of it and make a bright and cheerful summer themed card.  Here is my card:

SWF #125 - summer
