The crafty muse challenge this week is 'boys will be boys' so I thought this card was ideal. I stamped the inkadinkado image, but the original image had a football and I needed a rugby ball, so I stamped a single See D's rugby ball and stuck it over the top. Doesn't look too bad does it? I coloured the image with my pro-markers and used my pc for the sentiment. The dp by buzzcraft was cut into strips and laid over cs from the papermill shop. I used my dovecraft star punch to cut out the stars. A nice simple card, but I think that is what most men like anyway. Thanks for looking.

Secret Crafter challenge (and a large card)
The secret crafter challenge this week is 'paper piecing' and this is my card. I made this card a little while ago for my mother's friend. Her grand-daughter was turning 18 and she wanted a large A4 card. As I've stated previously I will make this size card when asked as a special request but they are not my favourite size (as it is a big surface area to fill). Anywho, onto the card. I stamped the stamping bella image, coloured it with my pro-markers and paper pieced her dress and the cupcake (I also added stickles). The gorgeous dp is cosmo cricket and as it's double sided I used both sides for colour matching. I used my sizzix die to cut swirls out of metallic cs by DCWV and added adhesive stones by PM. The sentiment was done on my pc. The flowers are from my stash.

Bella ballerina
I made this card for my niece's 4th birthday and as she loves ballerina's and dancing I thought this image was ideal. I stamped the stamping bella image, coloured her with my pro-markers and once again paper pieced her dress. The gorgeous dp is cosmo cricket and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The lovely flowers are from my stash and the button is doodlebug (I added extra bling to the button and flowers with stickles). The pearls are craftybitz and the sentiment was done on my pc. A very girly card but really pretty IRL. Thanks for looking.
I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas Day and that Santa brought you lots of lovely goodies to play with!

Bella birthday
I made this card for a friend's 18th birthday. I stamped the stamping bella image and coloured her with my pro-markers. I also paper pieced her dress, which is so simple to do on these images. The dp was a scrap (and I can't remember who it's by) and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was done on my pc and the flowers are from my stash.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visits my blog and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks for looking.

I used gorgeous dp by cosmo cricket and bazzill bling cs. The flowers are from my stash and the adhesive stone is PM. The sentiment was done on my pc. Sad cards to make
Unfortunately I've had to make several sympathy cards over the last week or so and it always seems much more difficult at this time of year. My neighbour's brother (who was in his 40's) died last week and this was the card I made to show I was thinking of her. The image is by inkadinkado and it's a very simple image as it needs no embellishing, it is just beautiful as it is. I used 'lace' dp by Joanna Sheen and plain cs from the papermill shop. The pearls are by craftybitz and the organza ribbon is from my stash. Thanks for looking.

My favourite WOJ image
I have made so many Christmas cards this year with this gorgeous WOJ stamp. I will definitely be getting many more in the new year. I stamped the image and coloured her with my pro-markers. The holly dp was a freebie from a craft magazine and the red cs is from the papermill shop. The ribbon is Anita's and the adhesive dots are from QVC. The sentiment was done on my pc. I used my fiskars corner adorner scissors for the fancy edges on my image panel. Thanks for looking.

Elzybells christmas girl (and some good news)
This is a card that I made for a friend at work to give to her daughter. I stamped the elzybells image and coloured it with my pro-markers and adding stickles to the snow and ground. I used dp from the DCWV rose tinted christmas paper pad and the black cs is bazzill bling. The snowflakes were punched out of the bazzill cs with my dovecraft paper punch and papermania adhesive gems added to the centres. The sentiment was done on my pc. I'm going to try and show you a few more christmas cards over the next few days and then hopefully that's it (I'm sure we are all sick and tired of christmas images by now haha).
The good news is that I've won two stamps this week *yay*. I won a WOJ stamp from Katharina's advent calendar and today I've just heard that I've won a stamp on the crafty muse challenge. I can't believe it, I haven't won anything for ages so it's amazing to win twice!! Thanks for looking.

I made this card for a friend to give to her son for christmas. I stamped the elzybells image and coloured it with my pro-markers. The dp is doodlebug and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stones are PM. I love the elzybells images as they are so easy to colour and they look amazing. I hope you like. Thanks for looking.

My son has been cooking!
My son has been doing some festive baking in school. This week he had to make a christmas log and as you can see from the photo it turned out really well (he's definitely not following his mother haha). He's had orders from both his grans to make one for them, so he'll have to get busy. I hope you don't mind me posting this but I'm really proud of him. Thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday #29
Here is my card for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge. I stamped the hero arts image and then paper pieced another image over the top (shock horror no pro-markers were used in the making of this card!!). The lovely dp (that I also used to paper piece the tree) is by Bo Bunny and the tree dp is by My Minds Eye. The "lace" is adhesive paper ribbon by K & Co. The sentiment was done on my pc and the pearls are by craftybitz. The sticky ribbon is by PM. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking.

Cherry birthday
I was asked to make a 1st birthday card for a little girl. I had this image sent to me by Diane at Pink Sunflower sometime ago and thought she was perfect. I coloured her with my pro-markers in christmassy colours as her birthday is near to the 'big day'. As the little girl had cherries on her dress I stamped the background with the cherry stamp from the tart & tangy set by SU! and cut out two extra cherries to 3d on the cs. The green cs is bazzill bling and the red cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was done on the pc. I'm really happy with this card, it's so bright and cheery and fun for a little girl, I hope you agree!! Thanks for looking.

Sympathy card
I recently was asked to make a sympathy card by my mother and here is what I came up with. I used a lovely image by elzybells and lightly coloured it with my pro-markers. The gorgeous dp was a scrap and I can't remember who makes it and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment is by PSX and the adhesive stones are PM. I was inspired to make this card by a stunning card I saw on the elzybells DT gallery but I can't remember who made it (pop along and have a look at them, they are all fab). Thanks for looking.

Crafty Muse Challenge
I was asked to make this card for a friend at work. It also fits the bill for the Crafty Muse challenge which was to make a christmas card. I stamped the stamping bella image and coloured it with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the dp is from my stash (I've had it so long I can't remember where I got it from!). The sentiment was done on my pc. The sketch I used was from a sketch saturday challenge from a few weeks ago. A fairly simple card but I really like it. Thanks for looking.
Papertake Challenge
This is my card for this week's papertake challenge which is a fab sketch by Dawny. The image is by docrafts and I coloured it with my pro-markers. I used plain cs from the papermill shop and the gorgeous dp is cosmo cricket (I'll definitely be getting more of this). The flower is from my stash and the sticky ribbon is PM. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stone is also PM. Thanks for looking.
My son's birthday card
Sorry it's taken me so long to put this card on my blog but here it is at long last. I made this for my youngest son's 12th birthday at the end of November. The image was a 99p stamp by dovecraft and it was my first attempt at paper piecing. It turned out quite well, even if I say so myself. I used dp by basic grey and the sentiment was done on the pc. The black cs is bazzill bling and the buttons and light green dp are from my stash. My son loves anything to do with dinosaurs and was thrilled with his card, which was a relief! Thanks for looking.

Penny Black challenge #24/CCT challenge #40/OSCC #7
I made this card for my auntie to give to her son. I stamped the PB image and coloured him with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the dp is from the For Him paper pack by PM. The sentiment was done on my pc and the adhesive stones and sticky ribbon are also PM. The alphabet stickers are me & my big ideas and I punched the stars with my dovecraft paper punch. The sketch I used was this week's PB saturday challenge which I've turned on it's side. I've also just realised this card fits the bill for the CCT challenge #40 which is to use punches on your cards and the One Stop Craft Challenge #7 which is something blue. . Thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday #28
I made this card for a friend at work. Her daughter's friend is moving to turkey to teach english and she wanted a 'girly card with suitcases', I think this fits the bill. I stamped the stamps away suitcase image twice on plain dp and cut them out. I used dp by kaiser craft (not much left of my blog candy winnings from Han now). The ribbon is by Anita's and the flowers were bought on eBay a long time ago. The oval was punched from white cs with my marvy punch and inked around the edges. The sentiment was done on my pc. The sketch is from this week's sketch saturday challenge and for once I'm on time (makes a change). Thanks for looking.

Joe Cool!
I made this card for my mother to give to my cousin for his 50th birthday. I stamped the stampabilities joe cool snoopy image and coloured him with my pro-markers. The red cs is from the papermill shop and the grey and patterned dp is by DCWV. I used my pc for the sentiment and the adhesive stones are PM. I punched the circles with my marvy punches and the '50' was done with stickers by creative imaginations. I used a sketch for this card for last week's A Time To Craft challenge but as usual I was too late to enter it. It's so hectic anyone would think it's christmas or something haha!! Thanks for looking.

Retirement card
I was asked to make a retirement card for a friend at work. I love this penny black image and yes I know I use it for every retirement card but I think it fits the bill perfectly. I coloured the image with my pro-markers and added a little dot of stickles to the cocktail glass. I used dp by kaiser craft (that was part of the blog candy from Han). I used pearl dots from craftybitz (I think) and the sentiment was done on my pc. The large flower is by prima and the smaller flower is from my stash. I got new 'stitch' stamps from stamps away and tried them out on this card. Some of the edges went a little awry but overall I like the result (just need a bit more practice at lining them up). Thanks for looking.

Super cool girlies!
I love this image, it was kindly sent to me as part of the blog candy I won from Han. It's such a simple image, you don't have to do anything to it (great for a quick card). The image I think is rubber romance. The red cs is from the papermill shop. The dp is doodlebug and the sentiment stamp is hero arts. The adhesive stones are by papermania. A very quick and simple card but I really like it and it looks even better IRL. Thanks for looking.

Feeling under the weather!!
I'm sorry I haven't been around for a few days but I am feeling yucky (yes it's a medical term hehe). I have a stinking cold and my head feels about 10 times it's normal size. I have ear-ache, a head-ache, runny nose, cough, shivers and then flushes and I am feeling very sorry for myself. I did struggle into work on Monday and Tuesday but I have given in today and stayed home (unfortunately I don't even feel up to crafting - shock horror). I have loads of cards to show you but they will have to wait until I'm feeling a little better. Hope everyone is feeling ok. We've been promised snow here, hope they are wrong for once. Thanks for looking.
