Hello again everyone, as promised I’m back with my project for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. This week the lovely Delphine has set the theme and she has chosen “anything but square”. I decided to make my son a bookmark as he has started to read the Percy Jackson books and is really enjoying them but at the moment is using a piece of paper to keep his page (aww poor love). Here is my bookmark:
I bought the fab digi image from Tiddly Inks and coloured him with my promarkers (the digi also comes with some extra book images too). I thought it looked a bit like my son (well the floppy hair at least) but my son doesn’t think so lol! I inked all the edges with a tim holtz ink pad just to soften the papers a little.
We are lucky enough to have two sponsors this week – Lili of the Valley are offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
and Tickled Pink stamps are offering a prize of either 1 rubber stamp or two digi images of the winner’s choice from their store.
Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prize and for February we are sponsored by Crafts U Love and they are offering a £10.00 voucher to their online store.
The rest of the DT have created gorgeous and very non-square projects for your inspiration this week, so please pop over and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my bookmark into the following challenges:
Stampin’ royalty challenge – sketch (oops just realised you can only enter 3 other challenges – oh well)
Corrosive challenge – distressing (I inked all my edges)
Anything goes challenge – distressing (inked the edges of my papers)
Delightful challenges – use your scraps
CCEE stampers challenge – distressing (as above)
Digi doodle challenge – spots/dots (my papers)
Easy craft projects challenge – something for the boys
Whoopsi daisy challenge – let’s get all cute (my image is cute I think)
Do you stack up? challenge – anything goes (second entry)
Dream valley challenge – anything goes (second entry)
Ok so that’s all from me for today. I hope you have a wonderful Monday. I hope you can call back tomorrow to see my DT card for this week’s PFP challenge. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
