Stamp with fun #35 – DT card

SWF # 35 - x-mas card

SWF # 35 - x-mas card (close up)

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at stamp with fun.  This week we’ve made it easy for you – our theme this week is Christmas – now that isn’t a challenge is it!!  For my card I used a neglected WOJ image called ‘winter Charlotte with cat’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  The gorgeous papers are dovecraft from the Christmas blues paper pack (which is from last year) and the plain paper is from the papermill shop.  The white snowflake is MS (arctic snowflake) and the coloured one was cut with a dovecraft punch.  The sentiment is craftwork cards and I used my SU oval punches to cut out the paper behind it.  I used my SU & woodware circle punches to cut out the circles from the paper and the adhesive stones are PM.

Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all so beautiful.  I can’t wait to see what you create this week and I look forward to visiting your blogs.

I’m also entering this card for the Friday sketchers challenge as I followed their gorgeous sketch, whiff of joy challenge wants ‘a Christmas card’ and charisma cardz as they want ‘anything Christmas’.  Don’t forget to check back later to see my cupcake craft challenge DT card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Friday sketchers #79

b'day card (28)

b'day card (28) close up

Hello fellow bloggers, I hope you’re having a wonderful Thursday :)  This is my entry for this week’s Friday sketchers challenge.  I was asked by a friend at work to make a 1st birthday card for her niece so I thought I’d combine the two!  I used a new digi-image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Suzie fairy’ and coloured her with my promarkers, adding stickles to her wings and wand.  The pretty paper is from my stash (no name) and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The gorgeous ribbon was a birthday pressie from Julia and the sentiment was created on the pc.  I used my quickutz star cookie cutter to cut out the number one and the adhesive stones are PM.  A fairly simple card but I thought the image was so cute I didn’t need to add lots of embellishments :)

I’ve just noticed that I’ve passed 30,000 hits – so stayed tuned for some mini-candy coming soon.

Also I just want to let you know that Sally-Ann is offering 20% off her Christmas images for a very short period.  There are some gorgeous images just released including the one below, so why not pop offer and grab a bargain whilst they are on offer.

xmas offer

Thanks for stopping by today.

A card for 6 challenges!

b'day card (6)

b'day card (6) close up 1

b'day card (6) close up 2

Sorry I’ve been MIA but it’s been a busy few days in work and I’ve been pooped when I’ve gotten home.  I’ll be catching up with everyone’s blogs over the weekend – I promise!   This is my card for 6 challenges this week – the pile it on challenge #18 is ‘3 dimensional’, the Friday sketcher’s challenge #72 is obviously the sketch I followed, the pollycraft challenge #25 is ‘5 “S” words’ (and I chose stripes and sparkle), the creative card crew challenge #31 is ‘it’s a celebration’, the secret crafter challenge is also ‘celebration’ and the anyone for anya? challenge is ‘you’re anya’.  I chose birthday anya as I have a very sweet tooth (that’s why I’m so cuddly) and could eat her cake at any time of the day or night lol :0).  For the pile it on challenge I interpreted the theme by stamping the cake twice and raising the second layer up with a foam pad (decoupage style), also my flowers and image are raised up on foam pads too.  I coloured birthday anya with my promarkers and used my rectangle nesties to cut it out.  The papers are all gorgeous BG from the sugared paper pad and the flowers were cut out with my ek success medium and small retro flowers.  The sentiment is SU from the circle of friendship set and was cut out with the SU 1” circle punch.  The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive stones are PM.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Cupcake craft challenge #51 – DT card

CCC challenge #51 - at the beach

CCC challenge #51 - at the beach (close up)

This week over at the cupcake craft challenge the theme is ‘at the beach’ and this was chosen by the talented Sandy.  I decided to use a digi-image by cc designs called ‘surfer emma’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The papers are all DCWV from ‘the stack’ and the plain cs is from the papermill shop.  I used my new circle scallop nestie (which I got out of my birthday money) to go with my circle nestie and brads from my stash.  The shell charm was a RAK from my fellow PFP DT chum Helen.  This card also qualifies for the Friday Sketchers challenge this week as I used their sketch.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #49 – DT card

CCC challenge 49 - christmas card

CCC challenge 49 - christmas card (close up 1)

CCC challenge 49 - christmas card (close up 2)

The cupcake craft challenge was chosen by Pops (Paula) this week and the theme is ‘christmas card’.  I am quite pleased as its another one made and in the box ready (cos I know I’ll leave most of them until last minute).  I used an image kindly sent to me by Gina (again) and coloured her with my promarkers – don’t look too closely at the hair as I had a bit of a nightmare!  The papers are all DCWV from the rose-tinted christmas paper pad.  The adhesive stones are PM and the sentiment is craftwork cards.  The snowflakes were cut out with my dovecraft punch and the ovals were cut with my SU punches.  The plain cs is from my stash.  I’m also entering this card for the friday sketchers challenge (I used their sketch) and also for cute card thursday as their theme is also ‘xmas in July’.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Friday sketchers #54

This is my card for this week's sketch over at Friday sketchers. I had to make a sympathy card for a lady at work so I thought I'd combine the two. Now I normally make subdued sympathy cards but this one is a bit brighter than usual and I hope the lady in work likes it. Anyway I stamped my new greeting farm image from the set called 'for someone' and coloured it with promarkers (lilac, lavender, amethyst, meadow green, apple green and slate). I used dp by making memories and the sentiment is from stamps away. I know the sentiment is slightly out of place but I hope it's allowed. The adhesive pearls are kanban (yay I've got more!) and the buttons and bow are from my stash (I had to add the bow as I dropped my inkpad on my card after I finished it - don't you just hate it when that happens lol!). Hope you all have a good day and thanks for stopping by.

Friday Sketchers #50

This is my card for this week's friday sketchers sketch, it was also a card order for a lady at work. I stamped the stamping bella 'beerafella' image and coloured him with guess what.... promarkers haha! The dp is BG from the archaic paper pad and I hand tore the longer panel and inked the edge with a cats eye chalk ink pad. The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive stones are PM. The button is from a dovecraft embellishment pack but it was more of a pastel colour so I coloured it in with my olive green promarker. I did miss off the ribbon from the sketch 'cos I couldn't fit it in, so will understand if my card doesn't count. Thanks for stopping by.

Friday sketchers #46

This is my card for the friday sketchers sketch this week. I made it for an order for a lady at work. I stamped the woodware image and coloured it with my pro-markers. The gorgeous dp is by BG and the blue textured mirror card is from a stack by DCWV (I think but I've lost the front cover lol). I used my sakura stardust pen to add highlights to the image and the sentiment is from craftwork cards. The flowers, brads and pearls are from my stash and I used my fiskars threading water punch to create the decorative edge. I rotated the sketch to fit my image. This card was for an older lady so I think it's traditional enough but with a modern twist. Hope you like, thanks for stopping by.

Friday sketchers #42/OCC challenge

This is my card for this week's friday sketcher's sketch and the OCC challenge which is 'add a doodle'. I stamped the SU image (from crazy for cupcakes) and coloured it with my pro-markers adding highlights with a sakura stardust pen. The dp is all SU (I was part of a paper share with Jules so don't know any of the names lol). The sentiment was created on the pc and I moved it slightly to the right of where it should be on the sketch (hope this is ok). The adhesive gems are kaiser craft and the swirl is a sizzix die that I cut out in the CB. The flowers are from my stash. Thanks for stopping by.

Friday sketchers # 41

This is my card for the friday sketchers sketch this week. I used my new kadoodle stamp "daisy", which I was lucky enough to win on sketch saturday. I coloured the image with my pro-markers and I had to add a smiley mouth on her (as I couldn't NOT have her smiling). The dp is doodlebug and the cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment is elzybells and the ribbon is from my stash. The red pearls are kanban (what am I going to do when they are all gone lol). I hope you are all keeping warm wherever you are. We had a nasty frost last night and it's been hailing here too. Thanks for looking.

CCT #48/Crafty Muse challenge/Friday sketchers #40

This is my card for this week's cute card thursday challenge, which 'signs of spring', the crafty muse challenge, which is 'favourite colour' and this week's friday sketchers sketch. I downloaded the free Angelica image (from crafty muse) and coloured her with my pro-markers. I added a hint of sakura stardust pen to her wings and carefully trimmed around the image. The dp is a freebie from a craft magazine (and isn't it very bright and cheery, just perfect for spring) and the cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment is from SU and the buttons are doodlebug. The flowers are from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers #39/SCSC #19

Warning: You may need sunglasses to view this card LOL!

This is my card for this week's friday sketchers challenge and the secret crafter saturday challenge which is 'spring has sprung'. I stamped the cc designs image and coloured her with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the glittery cs is from the glitter stack by DCWV. The flowers and brads are from my stash and the adhesive dots are from QVC. The sentiment was done on my pc. On the friday sketchers sketch the image panel is supposed to be an oval but unfortunately I didn't have an oval cutter big enough so I did a rectangle, hope this is ok. Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers #37/Crafty Muse challenge

This is my card for the Friday sketchers challenge which this week was a really simple sketch (my kind of sketch haha) and the crafty muse challenge is 'something sweet'. I stamped the cupcake image (which I bought from Inque Boutique in the USA, the label says See D's but they aren't like the ones we see in the UK, so don't think they are the same company) and the sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I coloured the image with my pro-markers and added diamond glaze to the cherry and sprinkles. The dp is all from the PM sweet nothings paper pad and the black cs is from the papermill shop. The black ribbon is from my stash and the gems are also from the papermill shop. I prinked around the top corners of the image panel for a little bit of added interest. Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers #35

This is my card for this week's friday sketchers challenge. It was my parents anniversary yesterday and this is the card I made for my kids to give to them. I stamped the stamping bella image and coloured it with my pro-markers. All the dp is from the PM scrumptious 6x6 paper pad and the flourish is hand drawn with my pink pro-marker. I added PM adhesive stones for a bit of added bling and the flowers and button are from my stash. The sentiment is by elzybells (it actually says love is in the air but I only inked up the 'love' part). Sorry I didn't pop on last night but I actually had a night out with my friends from work - it was a great laugh and I ate too much, but I had a fab time. Thanks for looking.

CCT #42/Friday Sketchers #34

This is my card for this week's Cute Card Thursday, which is to use something you got for Christmas and also the sketch for Friday Sketchers. Well I treated myself, with my Christmas money to some of the gorgeous Leanne Ellis designs for Sugar Nellie Stamps and this one is called Blossom. I coloured her with my pro-markers and added highlights with a white gel pen. The very yummy dp is by imagination project and the green dp is from double sided paper by s.e.i. The orange ric-rac and flowers are from my stash. The heart pin is from ebay and the ribbon bow is from ideal world (a very long time ago) and the adhesive dots are from a kit from QVC. The sentiment was done on my pc. I'm sorry the photo is so dark but it was very murky here this morning. Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers #32

This is my entry for this week's Friday Sketchers challenge. I used the gorgeous WOJ stamp and coloured her with my pro-markers. The snowflake dp is by momenta and the plain dp is dotted swiss bazzill. I used my pc for the sentiment and the flowers are from my stash. I added stickles to the larger flower for extra bling. Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers

I had to make a card for a friend's birthday so I used this week's Friday Sketchers No 27 sketch. I used a lovely image kindly sent to me by Diane at Pink Sunflower (although I did cut off her cat - I know terrible but it wouldn't fit in otherwise *wink*). I coloured the image with my pro-markers and highlighted areas with a white gel pen. The dp is from the cabana paper pack by inque boutique. The plain purple cs is from the papermill shop and the flowers are from my stash. The adhesive stones and gem brad are papermania. Ribbon is Anita's. The sentiment is by hero arts and the small decorative stamp (used in the bottom corner) is elusive images. Thanks for looking.

70th birthday

I made this card for a lady in work for her sister's 70th birthday. I used the elegant ladies kit once again that I got from QVC. The only extra items that I added were the american crafts ribbon and the making memories metal sister embellishment (originally it was silver which didn't really match the card so I aged it with one of my pro-markers). The flowers are from my stash and the gem brad in the centre is papermania. The sentiment was done on my pc and the gems are by kaiser crafts. I used last week's friday sketchers sketch as my inspiration for the layout but as usual I was too late to enter my card (story of my life at the moment). It looks a little busy in the pic but it's much nicer IRL (honest)! Thanks for looking.

Friday sketchers

This is my entry for this week's Friday sketchers challenge. I used a cupcake image that came free with a stamping magazine and coloured it with my pro-markers. The dp is from the cabana paper pack by inque boutique (although I forgot to round the corners - hope that is ok oops!). I stamped the sentiment by studio g and used sticky ribbon by papermania. It's difficult to see in the photo but I added stickles to the cupcake. Not my usual type of card as I don't like to leave such large open spaces, nice to try something different though I suppose. Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday & Friday Sketchers

I'm still getting into the swing of things again after my holidays, so this is a simple card for the CCT "Bright Colours" and Friday Sketchers sketch challenge this week. I used an image kindly sent to me by Tracy which I coloured with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the dp is from the nanna's nursery stack by DCWV. The sentiment is by hero arts and adhesive stones by papermania. The flowers are from my stash. I tried a little doodling on this card as it looked a little bare when I first made it. I think I went a little over-the-top but hopefully you think its ok. Thanks for looking.
