Stamp with fun #52 – DT card

SWF sketch #52

SWF #52 - sketch

SWF #52 - sketch (close up)

This week over at stamp with fun challenge we have a fantastic sketch designed by Tina46.  For my card I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Lucas and Freddo’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  If you pop over to DigiStamp Boutique you can get this image (along with 3 others) on special offer – but hurry this only lasts for March!  The leaf pattern paper is imaginisce, the striped paper is 3 bugs in a rug and the plain paper is from my stash.  The plain card is SU chocolate chip.  I ran the plain piece of paper through the CB using my swiss dots embossing folder.  The ribbon is also SU and the brads are from my stash.  The adhesive stones are from Joanna Sheen

The rest of the DT have created some amazing cards once again this week, so if you get the chance please pop over and leave them a nice comment.

I’m entering my card into the following challenges:

Pile it on challenge – animal-riffic

Creative card crew challenge – going dotty (embossed panel and brads)

Simple doodles challenge – add some layers

Paper garden projects challenge – embossing

Hope you have chance to pop back later to see my cupcake craft challenge DT card.  Thanks for stopping by.

A few challenges

b'day card (12)

b'day card (12) close up

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your Sunday.  The weather here is beautiful, like a spring day, still a bit on the chilly side though!  For my card today I used a gorgeous greeting farm image called ‘flapper anya’ and coloured her with my promarkers (not very happy with her face though as my skin tone colour ivory was running out so it looks a little patchy).  The papers are BG from the eva paper pad and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The sentiment was created on the pc and this and the image were cut out with my circle nesties.  The flowers are a mixture of imaginisce, ek success punch and rose head from Joanna Sheen.  The leaves were cut with my MS frond punch.  The adhesive pearls are kaisercraft.  For a bit of extra bling I’ve added stickles to the fringes on her dress and the feather in her hair.

The challenges I’m entering this into are:

Anyone for Anya challenge – card for mum (or any special lady)

Creative card crew challenge – celebrations

Papertake challenge – buttons, bows, brads and bling (mine’s got the bling)

Quixotic challenge – leave it out (use leaves)

CRAFT challenge – mother’s day/flowers

Simon says stamp challenge – mother’s day/girly

Alphabet challenge – s is for stamping

Fussy and fancy challenge – movies (Chicago)

Stamp something challenge – something girly

Crafty angels challenge – photo inspiration (I’ve used the colours)

Crafty calendar challenge – flower power

Enjoy the rest of the rest of your day.  Don’t forget to call back tomorrow to see my DT cards for stamp with fun challenge and cupcake craft challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp with fun #47 – DT card

SWF #47 - stitching

SWF #47 - stitching (close up)

This week’s theme over at stamp with fun challenge is ‘stitching’. For my card I used an image from DigiStamp boutique called ‘Harold and football’ and coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are all imaginisce and the plain card is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was created on the pc and the buttons are from my stash. I used normal cotton thread for my ‘cross’ stitches and to sew on the buttons. This card was made for my nephew, who is 21 today! Happy Birthday Jonathan x I can’t believe where the time has gone (showing my age now lol).

Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all stunning.

My card also fits in with the following challenges;

fab ‘n’ funky challenge - ‘it’s childish’

Bee crafty challenge - sew cute

I’ll be back later with my card for the cupcake craft challenge but until then have a fab day. Thanks for stopping by.

get well soon card

get well soon card (close up)

The current Allsorts challenge has a fab sketch to follow.  They are also running a DT call, so if you are interested check out all the details on their blog.   For my card I used a new digi image from the greeting farm called ‘rain’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The dotty paper is imaginisce and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  I ran the yellow card through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots embossing folder.  The sentiment is elzybells and the adhesive stones are trimcraft.  The flowers were cut with my medium ek success retro flower punch and the buttons are from my stash.  I liked the clean and simple style of the sketch so pretty much left it as it was.  I hope you are having a good Wednesday, can’t believe how fast this week is going!!  Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp with fun #44 – DT card

 von andrea-emmi41

SWF #44 - sketch

SWF #44 - sketch (close up)

Hello and welcome to Monday, which means a new challenge over at stamp with fun.  This week Andrea (Emmi41) has given us a lovely sketch to use, which I rotated to fit my image.  For my card I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Shelly turtle and flowers’ and coloured her (very brightly) with my promarkers.  This digi image along with 4 others is currently the offer of the month over at DSB so why not pop over and take a look.  The papers are doodlebug and the brown card and ribbon are SU (chocolate chip).  The brown flowers are imaginisce and the orange flowers were cut with my ek success medium retro flower punch.  The sentiment is a stamp by hero arts and I used my SU oval punches to cut it out.  The buttons are from my stash.  I used my circle nesties to cut out the circle and scallop circle shapes and a white gel pen for the faux stitching.  I don’t know why I went for such a bright colour scheme and the card didn’t turn out as I planned but I quite like the final result.  The rest of the DT have made some amazing cards, so check them out if you have chance.

I’m also entering my card into the following challenges:

A spoonfull of sugar challenge – freestyle

Creative card crew challenge – punch it

Fab ‘n’ funky challenge – use any digi image or sentiment

Cute card Thursday challenge – blooming gorgeous

Creative inspirations challenge – feminine

Dutch dare challenge – summer in winter (bright colours)

Humble pie stamps challenge – flowery - use at least 5 flowers (2 punched flowers and 4 on image)

I hope you’ll pop back later to see my cupcake craft challenge card.  Thanks for stopping by.

A multi-challenge card!

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve had a wonderful Wednesday. Weather here has been a bit yucky again today. I had some car trouble yesterday morning – went out to go to work and had a flat tyre! Luckily hubby is working afternoons this week and he was in bed so fortunately I was able to leave my car for him to sort and take his to work. However it turned out to be a bit more serious than just a flat tyre – I hit a pot-hole on Saturday when we went to the cinema, a very large pot-hole and I had actually buckled my alloy wheel!!! How lucky was I ‘cos I used it for work yesterday. So now that I’m £190.00 worse off I have my car back – great timing ‘eh? I am actually thinking of speaking to the council and seeing if I can claim the money back (hubby went to take a photo of the pot-hole today but they have conveniently filled the hole in now). I’ll keep you posted on developments.

Anyway onto the reason you’ve visited me today :)

This card fits in with quite a few challenges this week:

Cute Card Thursday – they want cards for little boys

Quixotic Challenge – want to see a charm on your card

Simon Says Challenge – also want to see a charm

Paper Cutz Challenge – their theme is anything goes!

Allsorts Challenge – want to see buttons

La-La-Land Crafts Challenge - also want to see buttons

For my card I’ve used an adorable image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Thomas in pram’ (don’t miss out on the 20% off Christmas images currently running in the shop) and coloured him with promarkers. The gorgeous paper is imaginisce and the plain card is from the papermill shop. I used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge and the ribbon is dovecraft. The charm and buttons are from my stash. I printed the birth announcement details on the pc. I love making baby cards and I have another baby boy one to make tonight *yay*. Thanks for stopping by today. Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see my card for the new susie’s sassy challenge.

CCC challenge 67 - gift card holder (back)

This week at cupcake craft challenge our theme was chosen by the extremely talented Kathrin and she asked us to make a ‘gift card holder’.  Kathrin kindly gave us the link to a tutorial to follow just in case we hadn’t made one before.  Now as I hadn’t I decided to follow the instructions (you can see them here).  I used gorgeous double sided paper (well it’s almost card it’s so lush) by imaginisce and the plain paper is making memories.  The sentiment inside is by SU from the sincere salutations set and the to and from stamp is by see d’s.  The cute little tree image on the front is studio g and I coloured the image with promarkers and added stickles to the stars.  The snowflakes are punched out with my MS arctic snowflake punch and the adhesive stones are PM.  The eagle eyed of you out there will notice I used my cooperative membership card instead of a gift card as I was not organised enough to get one *wink*.  I hope you will check out the rest of the DT creations as they are all stunning, and much more impressive than mine lol!  Please excuse the very wonky photo’s – I can assure you that I wasn’t drunk when I took them, I’m just a really bad photographer!!!

Our sponsor this week is soft pencil and the lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher to spend in their etsy store.  You must check out their gorgeous digital images as they are soooo cute!

I can’t wait to see what you come up this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.  Thanks for stopping by today.

CCC challenge 63 - sketch (close up)

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at cupcake craft challenge this week.  We have a lovely sketch for you to use and for my card I used my new Gillian F Roberts stamp called ‘christmas stocking’ (available from dies to die for) and coloured it with my promarkers.  I added stickles to the fluffy bits on his hat and highlights with a white gel pen.  The papers are all imaginisce except for the small tree paper which is american traditionals.  The decorative edge was cut with my martha stewart doily lace punch and the snowflakes were cut out with my martha stewart artic snowflake punch.  The ribbon is SU and the adhesive stones are kaisercraft.

Our sponsor this week is quixotic paperie and the lucky winner will receive £10.00 to spend in their online store.

We are also sad to say goodbye to some of our design team members this week.  We hope that you will join us in wishing them well for the future and to thank them for helping to make Cupcake Craft such a wonderful challenge blog! PFP challenge 22 - poppy & forest green

PFP challenge 22 - poppy & forest green (close up)

This week over at passion for promarkers our challenge has been chosen by guest DT member Claire and it is a colour combo – ‘poppy and forest green’.  For my card I stamped anya from the ‘rain, snow and shine’ set by TGF and coloured her with the following promarkers:

jacket, boots and ear muffs – poppy & berry red

Scarf and tights – forest green

hair – cinnamon & cocoa

skin – vanilla, blush & pastel pink

Outline – ice grey 1

I also added stickles to her fluffy trim and hand warmer (can’t for the life of me remember what its called lol) and highlights with a white gel pen.

The paper is imaginisce and the plain cs is from the papermill shop.  The tulle ribbon is from tabby crafts (a fab online shop that I’ve just discovered.  Really super fast delivery and only £1.00 postage) and adhesive stones are PM.  The snowflakes are punched with my new martha stewart arctic snowflake punch (available from dies to die for).  The sentiment is craftwork cards and was cut out with my SU oval punches (sorry I know the sentiment is hard to read but I had to use the flash as it was so gloomy here!).

Our sponsor this week is Yellow Moon and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online shop.

ABC challenge/secret crafter challenge #54

Anniversary card (4)

The ABC challenge this week is ‘F for flying’ and the secret crafter challenge is ‘dig deep’ which means they want use to you an older stamp/image.  I used an older digi image from DigiStamp Boutique from the love birds collection and is called ‘family sing song’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  The dotty paper is making memories and the blue paper is doodlebug.  The flower heads are from joanna sheen and the white flowers are imaginisce.  The ribbon is also making memories and the adhesive stones are PM.  The sentiments were created on the pc and the layout was an old sketch by dawny p.  I hope you are having a great Saturday.  I’m feeling a little better today, just this damn cough driving me nuts!!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Whiff of Joy challenge #43

b'day card (3)

The whiff of joy challenge this week is a colour challenge and they want us to use brown and pink.  Not too difficult as they are a fab combination.  I stamped the WOJ image ‘confirmand Melinda’ and coloured her with promarkers, adding stickles to her wings.  The paper was a freebie from a craft magazine and the brown cs is bazzill bling (hence the glare – sorry).  The flowers are imaginisce, the spacers are from the hobby house and the pearl brads are PM.  The ric-rac ribbon is from my stash and the large sentiment was created on the pc.  The smaller sentiment is SU from oval all set and I used the matching SU oval punch to cut it out.  The decorative edge was cut with my fiskars scissors.  Apologies for the terrible photo but it was really difficult to get a good one.  Thanks for stopping by.

Creative card crew challenge #21

b'day card (23)

I made this card for Sue, one of my fellow DT members over at passion for promarkers, but unfortunately I sent it rather late for her birthday (only a month lol!) and then forgot to put a sentiment on it – d’oh!!  I used an image by High Hopes called ‘Tidy up Tillie’ (available from Dies to Die For) and coloured it with my promarkers.  The striped paper is a freebie from a magazine and the plain pink cs is from the papermill shop.  The blue cs is bazzill bling and again is available at Dies to Die For.  I used my swiss dots embossing folder in the CB to add a bit of texture to the cs.  The flower heads are from Joanna Sheen, the larger blue flowers are imaginisce and the other flowers are from my stash.  I thought I’d enter this card for this week’s creative card crew challenge which is ‘girls just wanna have fun’ – well some girls like cleaning (not me mind you I think I’m allergic haha!).  Thanks for stopping by today.

Stamps & Smiles #24/Secret Crafter #41

b'day card (24)

This is my card for two challenges this week.  Stamps and smiles is a sketch, as usual, and the secret crafter challenge is ‘spots and stripes’.  I had to make a card for a lady at work so decided to combine these themes into my card.  The image and small sentiment is by stamping up from the ‘cheers to you’ set (which I ordered from Jules) and I coloured my image with promarkers and a white gel pen.  The patterned papers are by imaginisce and the plain brown paper is from a paper pack I got from QVC.  The sentiment is hero arts and the adhesive stone stars are PM.  I really like the simplicity of this card and I think it’s perfect for a man.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Digital Tuesday #14/DU2DS #14

b'day card (25)

b'day card (25) close up

As I’ve had some time off from work this week I thought I’d join in with some challenges as I haven’t seemed to take part in many of late.  This card is my entry for two challenges – Digital Tuesday asked for “sweet birthdays” and Dare you to Digi Stamp asked for “embossing”.  I used a freebie digi-image from Bee Crafty and coloured it with my promarkers.  I cut two circles with my nesties and embossed the white circle in the CB with the swiss dots folder.  The papers are all BG and a new paper pad (to me anyway) called lemonade, so yummy.  The sentiment is PB and I cut it out with my SU oval punches.  The flowers are imaginisce and the pearl brads are PM.  I used my new fiskars border punch for the decorative edge on the paper.  Thanks for stopping by today.

PFP challenge week 5 – DT card

Well the weeks are flying by and we are already on week 5 of the Passion for Promarkers challenge. This week’s challenge colours are Lemon & Meadow Green.

PM challenge 5 - lemon & meadow green PM challenge 5 - close up 1

For my card this week I used an image from the greeting farm called ‘dahlia’ and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Hair – cinnamon and cocoa

Dress/tights/flowers – lemon, yellow, meadow green and apple

Skin – Ivory, blush and pastel pink

The green text paper and the check paper are scraps. The plain green cs is from the papermill shop and the yellow cs is bazzill. The white flower is an imaginisce bitty blossom and the yellow flower was cut out of the cs with my ek success retro flower punch. I created the green leaves by punching a flower with my woodware punch and cutting it apart. The glitter brad is from my stash. The sentiment is SU from the ‘oval all’ set and I used the matching oval SU punches to cut it out.

Don’t forget this week’s challenge is being sponsored by Angela at Angel Crafts and the lucky winner will get a £10.00 voucher to spend in the online store.

Our fabulous sponsor\

We can’t wait to see your gorgeous creations again this week. Don’t forget to check out the other DT cards (links on my sidebar). Thanks for stopping by today.
