Cupcake craft challenge #121 – DT card

Hello again, I’m back to share my card for this week’s Cupcake Craft challenge.  The challenge this week has been set by the lovely Liza and she has chosen ‘non traditional Christmas"’ so another easy one for you!  I’m not entirely happy with my card but I would appreciate your thoughts on it.  Here is my card:

I have used a super cute digi image from Meljen’s called ‘cosy mittens’ and for a change I’ve cut around it.  I’ve also added lots of stickles to the cuff so that it’s lovely and sparkly.

Our sponsor this week is Meljen’s designs and the lucky winner will receive 4 digis of their choice from their online store.  They have so many gorgeous images you will be spoilt for choice.

Don’t forget we also have our cupcake madness and our sponsor for December is Wild Rose Studio who are offering the lucky winner 2 gorgeous stamps (‘Kira’ and ‘Milton with teddy’.  The only rule is that you have to enter two or more challenges during the month – which is easy peasy right?

Stamp with Fun #43 – DT card

SWF #43 - Baby

SWF #43 - Baby (close up)

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at stamp with fun.  This week our theme is ‘baby’ and as you know I love making baby cards!!  It was actually good timing as a lady at work asked me to make a keepsake card for her grand-daughter (who was born in December) so that she could put it in her memory box.  I used a gorgeous digi image from Victoria Case Art Designs and coloured it with my promarkers.  The papers are by craft creations and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive stones were a birthday present from my fellow welsh blogger Clare.  The gorgeous lace and flowers are from tabby crafts and I added stickles to the flowers for a bit of extra bling.  The leaves were cut with my L’em punch and I used my new oval nesties to cut out the image.  My finished card is A5 in size.

Our sponsor this week is Kreativart and the lucky winner will receive some very pretty 3D stickers.

The rest of the DT have created some beautiful samples for your inspiration, so if you have the time please go and take a look.  I can’t wait to see all your gorgeous baby cards this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.

I am also entering my card into the following challenges:

A spoonfull of sugar challenge – lots of layering

Creative card crew challenge – punch it

Papertake weekly challenge – pretty pink papertake (anything pink)

Simon says challenge – punch it (also DT call)

Raise the bar challenge – the gift that keeps on giving (use something that has been given to you as a gift)

I’ll be back later with my DT card for cupcake craft challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.

Pile It On #9/Papertake challenge

b'day card (27)

b'day card (27) close up

I hope you’re all enjoying the glorious weather we having at the moment.  My card is lovely and summery today, just perfect for papertake challenge this week which is ‘four seasons’.  I’m also entering my card for the pile it on challenge which is ‘at least 3 flowers’.  I stamped my new elzybells image called ‘sunflower fun’ and coloured her with promarkers.  The large sunflower is also an elzybells image and was stamped three times and coloured with promarkers.  The gingham paper is craft creations and the flowery paper is by imagination project.  The plain cs is from the papermill shop.  The sentiment is stampendous and I used my SU oval punches to cut it out.   Enjoy the weekend, thanks for stopping by today.

DU2DS #3/Sketch saturday #47

This week's dare you to digi stamp challenge is 'pink and green' and the sketch saturday challenge is a fab sketch. I used a digi download from grab-a-doodle-do and coloured her with my pro-markers. The floral dp is BG and the green gingham dp is by craft creations. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the sentiment is stamping bella. The circle was cut with my new nestie and run through the CB with the swiss dots embossing folder. The flowers are from my amazing candy from Sally-Ann and the adhesive dot is from QVC. The pink candy dots are pebbles inc. The decorative edge on the pink cs was cut with my fiskars threading water paper punch. Thanks for stopping by.

Crafty Muse Challenge

This week's crafty muse challenge is 'something new' and as I hadn't used my crafty muse download I thought this would be the ideal opportunity. Not too sure if I too late for this challenge but fingers crossed I'm just in time. I printed out the guitar boy and coloured him with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop. The red dp is by craft creations and the patterned dp is a scrap from my stash. The sentiment was done on my pc. Thanks for looking.

Stamp Something challenge

Here is my card for the stamp something challenge, which this week was a sketch. I stamped the three small images (which were freebies from a cardmaking magazine) and coloured them with my pro-markers. The red cs is from the papermill shop and the dp is by craft creations. I actually stamped the red snowflakes (stamp doesn't have a name on it) over the top of the dp to help it match my colour scheme a little better. The sentiment is by elzybells and the adhesive stones are PM. The white card is from my stash and again it was put through the CB using the snowflakes embossing folder. I lightly touched over the top with a red cat's eye chalk inkpad. Thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday Challenge & DT call

This week's sketch saturday challenge is slightly different because if you wish to be considered for a DT place you have to make two cards, one being a christmas card. These are my entries for the challenge.

On the first card (which by the way I made for my sister's 40th birthday today) I used shoe dp from a kit that I got from QVC and the dotty dp is from a paper pack by papermania (again from QVC). The image is of course a stamping bella - cupcakeabella, which I coloured with my pro-markers and highlighted with stickles. The sticky ribbon is by papermania and the adhesive gems were from QVC. I used my fiskars threading water paper punch on a piece of bazzill bling cs. The pre-made stickers are by rob & bob and I used my pc for the sentiments.

For the christmas card I stamped the image called snowmen by lizzie anne designs and highlighted their hats with my pro-markers. The gorgeous snowflake dp is by craft creations and again I used my fiskars threading water paper punch to make the decorative edge on the white cs. The snowflake embellisments are by card candy. I used my square nestabilities (for the first time *gasp*) in my cuttlebug to emboss and cut the blue dp panel under the stamped image.

I hope you like. I know they won't be up to the winning standard but I'm relatively happy with them. Thanks for looking.

OCCC & Papertake Challenge

Both the OCCC & Papertake Challenge were to make a christmas card this week, so I obviously combined challenges. I stamped the stamping bella image and coloured her in with my pro-markers. I added glitter snow writer for the "furry" bits as I didn't have any liquid applique to hand. I used dp by craft creations and used my snowflake cuttlebug folder to decorate the lower half of my card. I used a dovecraft stamp for the sentiment and sticky ribbon by papermania. I'm on a roll, this is the 3rd christmas card I've made so far this year *wink*. Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday Dad!

These are three cards that I made for my dad's birthday. The footballer card is from me and my husband, the robot card is from my children and the wolf is from my mum to my dad. The cards are all very simple but I think they turned out ok. The footballer stamp is by creative expressions, the robot stamp is by papermania and the wolf stamp is by rubber stampede. The dp on the footballer stamp is by craft creations, the dp on the robot card is from the matching paper pack and the dp on the wolf card is by imagination project. The cardstock is bazzill bling and I used my pc for the sentiments. Sorry for the long post, thanks for looking.
