Stamp with fun #137–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a great weekend and you managed to find some crafting time.  The weather here was quite good and I even managed to dry some clothes on the washing line yesterday – it was blowing a gale – so good weather for drying washing!!  I’m here this morning as it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge.  This week we have a brilliant recipe for you to follow – “lace, 3 papers, 3 flowers and a swirl”.  Here is my card:

SWF #137 - recipe

I have used a super sweet image from DigiStamp Boutique, which is brand new for November, and it’s from 'one of the ‘offers of the month’ called “Fairy Hattie Collection”  and for the whole of November it is available at a special price, so grab it while you can.  There are two images, and the other Hattie image is as equally cute as this one.  The papers are from a pad that I recently got on sale and it’s my minds eye ‘everyday flair’ and the swirl is a magnolia doo hickeys die.

We have a prize up for grabs this week from cute stamps and cards and they are offering one lucky winner a cute Belles & Whistles stamp and a marianne designs designables – ice crystals embossing folder:

Passion for promarkers #125–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you all had a good start to the week.  Mine went super fast as it usually does, as Monday is one of our busiest days in work.  Boy wasn’t it chilly though, definitely getting colder in the mornings – I may have to dig out my coat – I’m trying to last it as long as possible as I hate wearing a coat to work!!

Anyway enough of my rambling I’m here this morning with my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Julie has set the theme and she has chosen ‘kraft + 1 other colour’, you can use a tiny smidge of other colours on your images but the background must be only kraft and your chosen extra colour.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 125 - kraft 1 other

PFP challenge 125 - kraft 1 other (close up)

I have used a brand new image from DigiStamp Boutique from the ‘cute Santa collection’ which is one of 3 ‘offers of the month’ for November and available at a bargain price – so grab it whilst you can at the offer price.  I coloured the cute little Santa with flex markers and promarkers and added flower soft to his hat band and bobble.  The papers are a mix – the gingham paper is a really old piece from a pack I got from Joanna Sheen when I first starting crafting and the holly paper is dovecraft from the ‘back to basic Christmas’ paper pack.  The buttons were cut out using a die-namics die.  The dotty organza ribbon was originally white but I coloured it with my flex marker to match my card.

Our sponsor this week is Some Odd Girl and one lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Maarit has set the theme and she has chosen “textalicious”, so we want to see all your text papers,  actual pages from books/newspapers or even an image with a book on it.  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 167 - textalicious

I have used a new stamp (for me at least!) from sugar nellie stamps called ‘Jasmine’ and coloured her with flex markers and promarkers.  The gorgeous papers are authentique from the ‘uncommon’ 6x6 bundle collection and the black card is bazzill bling (which I turned over and used the ‘dull’ side).  The grey card is an odd piece I found in my stash – it maybe DCWV!

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

Stamp with fun #136–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and maybe enjoyed a bonfire night party.  We didn’t have any fireworks this year as my boys didn’t want any but the rest of the community did so we enjoyed theirs instead lol!

I’m here this morning to share my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week we have a fantastic sketch by Tina46 to use.  Here is my card:

SWF #136 - sketch

SWF #136 - sketch (close up)

and here is the sketch:

SWF #136 sketch

I have used another image from saturated canary digis (I think I’m addicted to them!) and coloured her with flex markers and promarkers.  The papers are basic grey from the ‘green at heart’ paper pad.  The flowers are punched out, embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder and inked with a chalk ink pad.  I don’t know why my pics look so fuzzy as they looked ok when I edited them – user error once again I’m afraid!!

The rest of the design team have created amazing cards as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Charisma cardz #44–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  It’s time for Team Gem to share their cards over at charisma cardz challenge this week and Joyce has chosen the theme of “cutesy”.  So you make anything you like as long as it includes something cute – easy peasy!!  I was lucky enough to use an image from one of our sponsors – here is my card:

charisma cardz #44 - cutesy

charisma cardz #44 - cutesy (close up)

The image is by pink cat studio and is called ‘Lily hot cocoa’ and I coloured her with both promarkers and flex markers.  I decided to go for another non traditional colour combo of pink and blue and used papers from the ‘Christmas joy’ paper pad by first edition.  I distressed all the edges and added stickles to her “fluffy” bits for a bit of added sparkle.

Our sponsors this week are Pink Cat Studio who are offering one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice and Simon Says Stamp who are offering one lucky winner a $20 voucher to spend in their online store.

Sassy studio designs–GDT card

Good evening dear friends.  I’m embarrassed to say that I was a guest designer over at sassy studio designs for October and this is the first card I’ve been able to blog.  As you know at the beginning of the month I was unable to print out any digis due to being out of ink in my printer and I’ve had a bad few weeks personally so this is the first chance I’ve had to be part of the team.  I would like to apologise to the wonderful girls over at sassy studio designs for my lack of creations and I am personally so disappointed as I really love the sassy digis and I enjoy using them as they are so grown up lol!   I made this card for this week’s “inspired by a movie” challenge and the film I chose was “elf” as it is just so funny and perfect for the time of year.  Here is my card:

Sassy Studio Designs - Elf

Sassy Studio Designs - Elf (close up)

I decided to go for a twist on the traditional colours and used lime green instead of the normal holly green, which I think looks quite funky.  The image is called ‘Santa’s helper’ and I coloured her with a mix of promarkers and flex markers.  I cut out the image as she was a little bit too big for any of my nesties and raised her up on 3d foam squares.  The papers are old ones that I found in my stash – the checked paper is doodlebug and the words paper is momenta.

The design team are so talented and have created beautiful projects for this challenge.  Please pop over to the challenge and check them out.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

OSAAT challenge – Christmas

Stamptacular challenge – borders and frames

The squirrel & the fox challenge – hats or flowers

Craft your passion challenge – BINGO (pearls, free, ribbon)

Heart song inspirations challenge – embossing and/or 3 or more layers

Ladybug crafts ink challenge – non traditional and/or distressed Christmas card

The pixie cottage challenge – sketch and/or get started, make a Christmas card

The beary sweet challenge – your beary best i.e. anything goes

By the cute and girly challenge – Christmas girls

Kaboodle challenge – sassy girls

If you’re quick you still have until 7am tomorrow to enter a card into the challenge, and although we’d love to see your sassy images, you can use any image you like.  I’ll be back later with another card using a sassy image (I am trying to make amends for my poor show last month!!).  I hope you have a wonderful evening and thanks so much for stopping by.

Passion for promarkers #124–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you all had a good Halloween – it was really quiet here, just a few children trick or treating – but I think the wet weather was the reason for that.  At least my boys were happy as I had lots of sweeties left over for them.  I cannot believe it is already the 1st November, what happened to October?

I’m here this morning to share my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Emma has set the theme and she has chosen “a day at the zoo”, so you must include an animal that you would find at the zoo on your creation such as elephants, giraffes etc.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 124 - at the zoo

PFP challenge 124 - at the zoo (close up)

I decided to make a baby card (yes again lol!) and used this super cute image from pink petticoat called ‘baby giraffe’ which comes in a boy and girl version.  Can you guess which version I used haha!  I know it’s very pink but I think it’s quite cute.  It’s a dinky 4x4 card and the pretty paper is a magazine freebie.  The image is coloured with flex markers and promarkers.  The image is part of the sentiment but I cut it apart to fit the smaller sized card.

Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
