Cupcake craft challenge #129–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Like a bad penny I’m back again lol!  This time it’s to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  The lovely Shelly has set the theme and she has chosen ‘I love you’ so your card must include at least one heart.  Your card obviously doesn’t have to be a valentine’s card just as long as it contains a heart or hearts it will be fine.  Again I was lucky enough to be given a sponsors image and here is my card:

CCC challenge 129 - I love you (add a heart)

CCC challenge 129 - I love you (add a heart) close up

The image is by Lori Boyd Designs and is called ‘puddle jumper birthday Emma’ (the image also includes a present and a happy birthday sentiment which I didn’t use this time).  As usual my photography skills are lacking!  The ric-rac ribbon and the dress are actually a lovely girly pink IRL but they look more salmon pink in my pic and the pearls are a soft pink too not red as they look in the pic grrrr!!!  In case you didn’t notice, my hearts are the MS punched border!

Our sponsor this week is Lori Boyd Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a $10.00 gift certificate to their online store.  You will definitely be spoilt for choice as she has lots of super cute images, just like this one.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prize and our sponsor for February is Crafts U Love and the lucky winner will receive a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online shop.

Stamp with fun #98–DT card

Good morning dear friends and Happy Valentine’s Day.  I hope you all get lots of lovely goodies from your loved ones today, although me and hubby have decided that we’ve been married too long for all that soppy stuff now and are just sending cards this year!!  Of course that doesn’t mean I don’t love him any less, he is so wonderful to me and I’m lucky to have him.  I had a quiet weekend as hubby went away with his friends to watch the rugby, so me and and the kids just chilled and watch TV and films (and I did a little crafting of course).

I’m here this morning to share with you my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge.  Our challenge this week is to use the gorgeous sketch provided by Andrea- Emmi41 and here is a picture of the sketch:

The DT were lucky enough to be given images by our sponsor this week so I chose this super cute image called ‘flutterby’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  I went a bit nuts with the pearls but I think they match the pearl brads so well.  I added liquid pearls to her necklace as well lol!

Our sponsor this week is Paper Pretties and the lucky winner will receive a clear stamp set called ‘timeless love’.

Charisma cardz #6–DT card

Good morning friends, I forgot to schedule my post last night so I’m hastily typing it before I go to work (never a good idea lol).  It’s time for a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge and this week the lovely Carol has chosen the theme “mythical/fantasy”.  I decided to use a CC designs mermaid digi image as they are both mythical and fantasy I think.  I have gone “clean and simple” on my card but I’m not sure if I like it – some crafters make this style of card look so stylish and elegant but I can’t seem to get to grips with it.  Here is my card (let me know what you think about my attempt at CAS):

charisma cardz #6 - magical & fantasy

charisma cardz #6 - magical & fantasy (close up)

I have used another scalloped card (that was found under my desk!) and the image is called ‘mermaid Emma’.  I coloured her with my promarkers of course and added stickles to her waist and hairband.  There is an awful lot of white on my card…..mmm I’m not sure!!

We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have All That Scraps and they are offering the lucky winner either 1 stamp set or 4 single stamps.

All that scraps

Our second sponsor is Pink Cat Studio and they are offering the lucky winner 5 digi images of their choice.

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Clean and simple challenge – sketch (I hope it’s ok I put the sentiment in a different place)

Pear tree designs challenge – free for all

Karber challenge – movie theme (I’ve gone with the little mermaid)

Passion for promarkers #86–DT card

Good morning friends, it’s Tuesday so that can only mean one thing – a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week our theme has been set by Michele and she has chosen “let there be love”, it doesn’t have to be a valentine’s creation it could be a wedding or anniversary card if you like or simply a card to say I love you!!  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 86 - let there be love

PFP challenge 86 - let there be love (close up)

I have used a super cute image from Some Odd Girl called ‘sweet Kody’ and chose muted colours of kraft, red and white as I think it makes for a more masculine card.  I found this scalloped card in a pile under my desk and thought it would make a nice change from the traditional square card that I always use!

Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

We are sadly saying goodbye to Caryn from the design team as her business is doing really well and she can’t craft as much as she likes.  Also Gina is taking a step back from creating as her online business is really good at the moment too (although she will still be my partner in crime on the blog).  We are pleased to announce that we will have two new members from next week Heidi and Maya.  Please check out their blogs as their work is stunning.

Hello again, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  Our theme this week has been set by the lovely Kathrin and she has chosen ‘seeing red’ so you card must include some red.  Another super easy challenge for you during this love-fest week lol!  I have used another newly released image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Grace and puppy’ and I really love this super cute girl.  This is part of the offer of the month and is available at the special price of just £2.99 for 4 different images (including the one I’ve used today).  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 128 - add some red

Winter wonderland–DT card

Good morning everyone – woohoo it’s Friday - thank crunchie for that lol!  I am so glad the weekend is almost here, although it’s supposed to very wet and windy, so perfect weather for crafting!!  I’m here this morning to share with you my DT card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge and  Lynsey has set the theme this week and she has chosen ‘reach for the stars’.  This was a great challenge for me as I had to make a birthday card for a one year old boy and I love to add stars to boys/men’s cards.  Here is my card:

WW #2 - reach for the stars

WW #2 - reach for the stars (close up)

I have used a super cute image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘one today’ and you receive a boy version and an equally adorable girl version for just one amazing price.  I decided to use this bright and cheerful paper as I thought it was ideal for a little boy.

Our sponsor this week is Craftbrulee and the lucky winner will receive a surprise prize.  Unfortunately Jennifer has decided to close her online store but she is still trading through eBay.
