Cupcake craft challenge #132–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again, I’m back with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s theme has been set by the lovely Catherine and she has chosen “up in the air” with the option of adding some green as it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow!  We were lucky enough to be offered an image to use by our sponsors this week so here is my card:

CCC challenge 133 - up in the air

I coloured the image from digi doodle shop (which is called ‘fairy in flight’) with my promarkers and used two different gingham papers from the ‘gorgeous ginghams’ paper pack from wild rose studio.  I cut out her leg using the ‘out of bounds’ technique otherwise I wouldn’t have fit her into the largest circle nestie!!

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop and the lucky winner will receive a $10.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor for March – Wild Rose Studio – and they are offering as their prize two stamps from the Spring 2011 releases; ‘Mia with Teddy’ and ‘Toby with Butterfly’.

Digi Doodle challenge #14 – GDT card

Wow my week off work is flying by – it’s already Thursday (boohoo).  I’m back to share with you my last GDT card for the digi doodle challenge and our theme is “dots and/or circles”.  Its a simple theme so we expect to see lots of lovely entries again this week.  Now I do have a confession to make – when I made my card and emailed it to Kym I realised that I’d forgotten about the theme (d’oh) but luckily for me I did include some dotty ribbon on my card so it passed phew!  Here is my card:

Sorry the image seems a little “pale” but again my printer wasn’t co-operating.  I used a gorgeous image from the digi doodle shop called “mermaid” and added stickles to her tail for a sparkly effect.  I hope you think the branches look like seaweed or some sort of underwater plant ‘cos that’s the effect I was going for lol!

The lucky winner will receive $10.00 to spend in the Digi Doodle Shop.  You will definitely have no trouble spending it – they have some very gorgeous images to drool over.

Please check out the rest of the DT creations as they are really stunning.  They are a very talented bunch of ladies and they really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for them.

I can also enter my card into the following challenges:

The crazy challenge – make it in an hour

Stamptacular #62 – guest DT card

Morning everyone, I’m honoured to be sharing with you my first guest designer card for the Stamptacular challenge.  I am lucky enough to be joining their fabulous challenge for the whole of June, so I hope you will be able to play along too :)  The challenge launching today is “I do, I do” which means we are looking for wedding or anniversary themed projects but don’t forget you must include some stamping on your creation (digi stamps are allowed).  Here is my card:

stamptacular DT - wedding

stamptacular DT - wedding (close up)

I made this card for a friend at work and she gave me the colour scheme to use, not my usual wedding colour combo I have to admit, but I’m quite happy with the end result.  IRL the ribbon and flowers are a hot pink but they look more red in the pics, which is a shame.  I hope you will have the time to go and check out the rest of the DT cards, as they are all beautiful.  I can’t wait to visit your blogs and see what you create.

I can also enter my card into the following challenges:

A spoonfull of sugar challenge – celebrations

Pixie dust studio challenge – punch it out (heart punch)

Stamp something challenge – stamp something digi

By the cute and girly challenge – something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

Sir stampalot challenge – punch it

So I hope you have a great Sunday and manage to get some crafty time today, I’m going to try and catch up with some orders and outstanding DT cards, if I can get myself organised :)  Don’t forget to call back tomorrow for my DT cards for cupcake craft challenge and stamp with fun challenge.  Thanks for stopping by today.
