Stamptacular challenge #3

This is my card for this week's stamptacular sunday challenge, which 'black, white + one'. I have obviously decided to go with black, white and orange, not a combination I would normally use but I love the finished result. I used a download by Sally-Ann Hancock from Grab-a-doodle-do and coloured it with my pro-markers (hopefully the tiny bit of green on the leaves will be allowed). The dp is all SU and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The flowers are cut with woodware, ek success and x-cut punches and the ribbon is from my stash. The adhesive stones are kaiser craft and the stamped sentiment is daisy bucket designs. I used a corner rounder to round the edges of my cs and dp. I hope you're all enjoying the glorious weather we've been having lately, not sure it's going to last much longer though (grrr....). Thanks for stopping by.

WOJ #20/Truly scrumptious #2

This is my card for the WOJ challenge this week which is 'lavender and lace' and the truly scrumptious challenge which is a sketch, with an added extra of handmade buttons. When I heard the WOJ challenge I immediately thought of joanna sheen's lace paper, which I've had in my stash for ages and thus covering both parts of the challenge (the lavender colour and the lace effect pattern). I stamped the willow image and coloured her with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop. I was going to try and be creative with my handmade buttons but as usual I left it until last minute to make the card so I only punched circles out of the plain cs and pierced holes in the centre and added small pieces of craft wire instead of thread. The sentiment is a clear stamp by daisy bucket and the pearls are (can you guess) kanban lol!. Hope you like. Thanks for stopping by.

Another image folder

Here is another image folder that I sent to my fellow welsh crafter/blogger Clare. I know she has received it (as it's on her blog) so I can upload it here. The image was a RAK and I coloured it with my pro-markers. The dp was a scrap and I can't remember who it is by and the brown cs is bazzill bling. The sentiment is a daisy bucket clear stamp and the buttons are from a shop in town that sells sewing and knitting essentials. The cs for the folder itself is from the papermill shop and I added a hook and loop fastener (that I got from ebay) to keep the folder closed. Thanks for looking.

Happy 15th Anniversary

This is a card that I made for my DH (dear husband) for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, which was last Thursday 3rd July. I stamped 3 Daisy Bucket Design hearts and cut them out. I used my pc for the sentiment at the top and the stamped sentiment (which I thought was most appropriate) is by Stamps Away. The red music dp was a small scrap that I had left so not sure who it's by. The black cs is from the papermill shop. I used DCWV adhesive ribbon and adhesive stones by papermania.
I had to show you the wonderful flowers that my DH bought me for our anniversary. Aren't they gorgeous. I'm so lucky to have him ;) Thanks for looking.
