WOJ #20/Truly scrumptious #2

This is my card for the WOJ challenge this week which is 'lavender and lace' and the truly scrumptious challenge which is a sketch, with an added extra of handmade buttons. When I heard the WOJ challenge I immediately thought of joanna sheen's lace paper, which I've had in my stash for ages and thus covering both parts of the challenge (the lavender colour and the lace effect pattern). I stamped the willow image and coloured her with my pro-markers. The plain cs is from the papermill shop. I was going to try and be creative with my handmade buttons but as usual I left it until last minute to make the card so I only punched circles out of the plain cs and pierced holes in the centre and added small pieces of craft wire instead of thread. The sentiment is a clear stamp by daisy bucket and the pearls are (can you guess) kanban lol!. Hope you like. Thanks for stopping by.

Truly scrumptious #1

I made this card for the first challenge on the new blog Truly Scrumptious, which was a sketch. I think however I am now too late for the challenge but I still wanted to show you my card. I stamped the cc designs image and coloured him with my pro-markers. The glitter dp is by DCWV and the plain dp is from QVC. The ribbon is from my stash and the button is doodlebug. The pearls are kanban and the sentiment is stamping bella. I have a birthday coming up next week for a little boy who is 6 years old so I think this card will be perfect for him. Thanks for looking.
