Mini Candy!

Good evening dear friends. I’ve decided as I missed my blogaversary many months ago (oops) that I am going to offer several “mini” candy’s, so as many of my friends can have a chance at winning something sweet!! My first candy is a super cute stamp from Wild Rose Studio called “Mia with kitten” which I somehow managed to buy twice, so this stamp is brand new and in it’s original packaging! I recently used this image on a card here. This what you can win:

cl161-mia-with-kitten

All you have to do to win this stamp (plus some extra bits and bobs that I can lay my hands on) is to leave you name with Mr Linky and add a pic/link in your sidebar. You don’t have to become a follower – unless you want to of course – and I will draw a winner next Friday at 7pm. Good luck.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT project

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you’ve had a brilliant week so far – the weekend is nearly here woohoo!  I can’t believe how quickly this week has flown by – not that I’m complaining of course.

I’m here this morning with my DT project for this week’s winter wonderland challenge.  This week the lovely Suzi has set the theme and she has chosen “robin redbreast” so we want to see all your images featuring robins – simples right !!  I decided to make a door hanger for a change:

WW #18 - robin red breast

WW #18 - robin red breast (close up)

I am still waiting (not very patiently by the way lol!) for my printer ink to be delivered so I had to search through my stamps for a suitable image.  I was super pleased to find this adorable wild rose studio ‘Milton & co ‘ stamp called “Milton & robin” to use.  I coloured the image with a mix of promarkers and flex markers simply added a large ribbon bow and pearls for decoration.  I used my circle nesties to cut out the aperture for the door handle.  I have to say it looks much nicer IRL and I’m quite happy with the finished result – for once haha!

Our sponsors this week are pink gem designs and they are offering 4 digis of the winner’s choice and also squiggle stamps who are offering 2 digis of the winner’s choice.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my door hanger in the following challenges:

Passion for promarkers #121–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I trust you all had a good Monday – mine started off badly – my alarm didn’t go off and me and the boys were all late for work and school.  Don’t you just hate rushing around, especially when it’s just to get to work lol!  However my colleagues in work are the best and they covered for me until I got there.

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Andie has set the theme and she has chosen “Christmas critters”, so we basically want to see all your animals enjoying Christmas!  As our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique I thought I would use one of Sally-Ann’s images and was going to use one of the new “offers of the month” images for October, however my printer decided to run out of ink over the weekend and I hadn’t had a chance to print out my image.  Therefore I have used an older image, but still as equally as cute.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 121 - christmas critters

The image is from the “cute nativity collection” and I coloured it with promarkers and flex markers.  The paper is from the dovecraft ‘let it snow’ paper pad and kraft card is from elzybells (what am I going to do when it runs out lol!).

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and Sally-Ann is offering one lucky winner 6 digi images of their choice.

Cupcake craft challenge #163–DT project

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised with my DT project for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Louise has set the theme and she has chosen “Halloween” so I expect we’ll have lots of entries this week.  As I have made quite a few cards for Halloween I decided to make some cute treat holders:

CCC challenge 163 - halloween

CCC challenge 163 - halloween (2)

CCC challenge 163 - halloween (close up)

I had a bit of a disaster with my printer over the weekend and had to frantically sort though my stamps to find something suitable.  I found this super cute Elzybells image (which I think I used last year lol) and coloured the images with my promarkers.  The treat holders are really simple to make with only 5 score lines in total and then tied together with some pretty gingham ribbon.  I haven’t filled them with anything yet but the possibilities are endless and they are perfect for any time of the year.

Our sponsor this week is cupcake cards and crafts and they are offering one lucky winner their choice of one paper collection of their choice.

cupcake cards and craft logo

Don’t forget we also have our “icing on the cupcake” sponsors and for October we have two!!  Firstly we have Polka Doodles and they are offering one lucky winner a copy of their ‘pretty sweet’ CD collection.  Our second sponsor is Scrap Affair and they are offering one lucky winner a 5 pack of promarkers.

The rest of the design team have created gorgeous samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my treat holders into the following challenges:

Cupcake inspirations challenge – photo inspiration (I was inspired by the halloween cake)

Cutie Sunday challenge – Halloween

Quirky crafts challenge – something spooky

Crafty creations challenge – create a crafty decoration

Creative craft world challenge – Halloween

Stamp with fun #132–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you all had a fab weekend, but boy don’t they go by too fast.  I can’t believe it’s time for work already groan!!  However on the positive side it also means it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge.  This week we have a wonderful sketch by Tina to work with.  I had been asked by a friend at work to make a card for her daughter’s 21st birthday so I decided to combine the two!  Here is my card:

SWF #132 - sketch

SWF #132 - sketch (close up)

and here is the sketch:

SWF #132 sketch

I have used a gorgeous image by Sugar Nellie stamps from the simply sassy range called ‘retail therapy’ and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers.  The colour scheme was chosen by my friend as her daughter loves these colours.  I have to admit I did struggle to find papers that complimented each other and most of these have been in my stash for years.  It does look much better IRL and my friend was very happy with it!  I recently treated myself to some new magnolia doohickeys dies – the flowers and swirl – and I love them already so expect to see them on all my cards for the next few weeks lol!.  The card is 8 x 8 in size and as it was such a layered sketch I think I worked really well on a larger size card.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

OSAAT challenge – anything goes

Sentimental Sunday challenge – anything goes

Stampin’ sisters in Christ challenge – anything goes

Aud sentiments challenge – happy birthday

Fairy fun challenge – sugar and spice and everything nice

The poodles parlour challenge – birthdays or buttons or brads (I’ve used brads and birthday)

Simply create challenge – older than 6 months (my papers)

One stop craft challenge – anything goes

I hope you will be able to join in with our challenge this week and I cannot wait to see what you create.  I would like to welcome my newest followers – Dawn Lancaster, Julie-Ann, Wishes, Jane Gould, Nicola Jayne Saul, Elaine, Cath, and KarmaFran *waves hello* – thank you so much for joining my little bit of blogland, I hope you will visit me again soon.  I’ll be back later with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by today.

Charisma cardz #40–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you are surviving the dreadful winds and rain we’re having at the moment.  I was drenched just walking from my car to work yesterday – it’s going to be a long winter I think groan!!

On a happier note it’s time for a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge today and I am delighted to have set the theme this week.  As it’s almost halloween I thought I would choose a colour theme of “black and orange”, although you don’t have to make a halloween card unless you want too of course.  Here is my card:

charisma cardz #40 - black & orange

charisma cardz #40 - black & orange (close up)

I have used a super image which was kindly given by our sponsor Pink Cat Studio and she is called ‘Lily witch’ and I coloured her with a mix of promarkers and flex markers.  The dotty paper is echo park from the ‘dots and stripes – candy shoppe collection’ and the borders were created with my martha stewart drippy goo border punch.  The fun ghosts were die cut using a sizzix sizzlit die.

As I mentioned our first sponsor this week is Pink Cat Studio and they are offering one lucky winner 5 digital stamps of their choice and our second sponsor is Simon Says Stamp who are offering one lucky winner a $20.00 gift voucher (excl p&p) to spend in their online store.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.
