Cupcake craft challenge #132–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again, I’m back with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s theme has been set by the lovely Catherine and she has chosen “up in the air” with the option of adding some green as it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow!  We were lucky enough to be offered an image to use by our sponsors this week so here is my card:

CCC challenge 133 - up in the air

CCC challenge 133 - up in the air (close up)

I coloured the image from digi doodle shop (which is called ‘fairy in flight’) with my promarkers and used two different gingham papers from the ‘gorgeous ginghams’ paper pack from wild rose studio.  I cut out her leg using the ‘out of bounds’ technique otherwise I wouldn’t have fit her into the largest circle nestie!!

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop and the lucky winner will receive a $10.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor for March – Wild Rose Studio – and they are offering as their prize two stamps from the Spring 2011 releases; ‘Mia with Teddy’ and ‘Toby with Butterfly’.

Good morning everyone – I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Thank you for all the lovely get well wishes you left for me yesterday, they were really appreciated!

I’m back this morning with my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and we have a wonderful sketch by Andrea-Emmi41 to use.  Here is the sketch:

I made this card for my boss who is retiring at the end of the week but we’re all going out for a meal tonight and we will be giving her card and present to her then.  The card is 8x8 in size as the whole team in work will be signing the inside and we needed lots of room!  As soon as I saw this image, which is from Karen’s Doodles, I knew it would be perfect as I know that is how happy I’m going to be when I retire lol!

This week we are sponsored by Bunny Zoe’s Crafts and the lucky winner will receive this adorable stamp.

Charisma cardz #10–DT card (very late)

Good morning dear friends, I hope you are having a good weekend so far.  I know it’s unusual for me to post on a Sunday but I am here to share my (very late) DT card for the charisma cardz challenge.  I haven’t been feeling too good for the last few days so I apologise that I didn’t actually share my card on Thursday when I should have.  We have a brilliant theme this week that has been chosen by Lora which is “easel cards” and I really don’t make enough of them so it was a nice change.  Here is my card:

charisma cardz #10 - easel card

Why are easel cards so difficult to photograph – they never seem to look good whatever angle you take them at lol!  I have used a long neglected stamp from Sugar Nellie called ‘sitting’ and coloured her with promarkers (of course).

We have three sponsors this week – firstly we have Scrapbook News and Review and one lucky winner will receive a 3 month subscription to their publication.

Our second sponsor is Some Odd Girls and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice.

Passion for promarkers #90–DT card

Good morning everyone, it’s Tuesday so that can only mean one thing – a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week I’ve had the honour of setting the theme and I’ve chosen “food and drink” which is something I enjoy doing lol!  I had to make a silver wedding anniversary card for my mother’s friend so I combined the two.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 90 - food & drink

PFP challenge 90 - food & drink (close up)

As it was for a silver wedding anniversary I decided to use silver mirri card but unfortunately I forgot how much of a pain it is to photograph.  I’m sorry the pics are a bit dark but the flash was glaring so much off the mirri card that I had to tone it down a bit lol!.  I have used another super cute Lili of the Valley image called ‘bubble bath’ and I used my new papers by Wild Rose Studio called ‘wedding bells’ which I got from Crafty Emma’s store.

We are generously sponsored by Letraset once again this week and the prize up for grabs is one of their stamping kits.

Cupcake craft challenge #132–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again, I told you I’d be back, and I’m not one to break a promise lol!  I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s challenge has been set by our competition winner Em and she has chosen a lovely theme of ‘pink polka dots’ – how fantastic is that theme?  I had to make a card for a friend in work so set to work to combine the two.  Here is my card which is A5 in size for a change:

CCC challenge 132 - pink polka dots

CCC challenge 132 - pink polka dots (close up)

I have used a super fun image from Sassy Studio Designs called ‘sassy Cassie’ and I have used a stamping up 12x12 paper pack called ‘sweet pea’ that I forgot I had (but I think it’s now retired)!!  I used last week’s Friday sketcher’s sketch as I really loved it but didn’t have time to use it last week.  I will definitely be using it again as it is really effective I think.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prize and for March our sponsor is Wild Rose Studio and they are offering two super cute stamps to one lucky winner.

Stamp with fun #101–DT card

Good morning everyone.  I hope you all had a really good weekend.  I’ve just been relaxing with the family (and crafting a little too) so the time seems to have whizzed by as usual.  I think we should have a two day working week and a 5 day weekend lol!

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week we have a lovely theme for you of “monochrome blue”.  It is such a great colour to work with, although I really don’t use blue enough.  I decided to make a baby boy card as I don’t have any baby cards ‘in stock’ at the moment.  Here is my card:

SWF #101 - monochromatic blue

SWF #101 - monochromatic blue (close up)

I have used a super cute image from Lili of the Valley called ‘baby blanket’ and I’m ashamed to say this is the first time I’ve inked this little cutie up.  I love gingham papers and especially love them on baby cards, so I had to use my new Wild Rose Studio ‘gorgeous ginghams’ paper pad.  The cardstock I’ve used is navy blue but it looks almost black in my pictures for some reason.

Our sponsor this week is Just Some Lines and the lucky winner will receive a $15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning dear friends, I hope your week has gone well but I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say ‘thank goodness it’s Friday’!  I am so looking forward to the weekend and having a little lie-in, I’m really not a morning person at all and really want to win the lottery and give up work now haha!  However until this happens I will have to struggle in the mornings and get up for work!!

Onto happier things and it’s Team Marianne’s turn to share their cards this week over at the winter wonderland challenge.  As I mentioned last week we are completely Christmas themed challenges from now on so an apt theme this week is “snowflakes”.  You can make whatever you like as long as it contains a snowflake – easy!  Here is my card:

  WW #4 - snowflakes

WW #4 - snowflakes (close up)

WW #4 - snowflakes (group shot)

I decided to make a set of thank you cards to give out after Christmas to thank people for their cards and gifts.  I know they are very plain and simple but I thought the snowflake was so pretty I wanted that to be the focal point of my card.  I’m sorry the pictures aren’t very crisp but the snowflake was stamped with a brilliance inkpad and it’s makes photographing them very difficult due to the shimmer.  The first picture is more a true representation of the colour but the second picture really shows off the shimmery quality of the brilliance ink.  They look much nicer IRL honestly!  Shock horror no promarkers were harmed in the making of my cards!!!

Our sponsor this week is Pollycraft and the lucky winner will receive 5 digis of their choice.

The rest of the design team have created beautiful cards once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Stamptacular challenge – you’ve been framed
