CCC challenge 66 - digital images

CCC challenge 66 - digital images (close up 1)

Over at cupcake craft challenge this week it is my turn to choose the challenge theme and as our sponsor was a digital stamp company I decided to plump for ‘digital images’ as our theme.

Our sponsor this week is Sketching Stamper and one lucky winner will receive 6 digital images of their choice - wow what a fantastic prize.

The DT were lucky enough to be able to use digi-images from our sponsor to use on our cards and I chose this gorgeous ‘butterfly fairy’ image.  I coloured the image with my promarkers, although the yellow turned out to be a little stronger than I wanted.  I added highlights to her wings with a sakura gelly roll pen.  The papers are K & Co (I think – it was the last piece!) and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The flowers are from my stash and the flower heads are from Joanna Sheen.  The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment was created on the pc.  The gorgeous swirls are basic grey and consist of a rub-on with gems to embellish.  The finished card is A5 in size and was ordered by my aunt.

I can’t wait to see your gorgeous creations and look forward to visiting your blogs.  Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp with Fun #33 – DT card

SWF #33 - x-mas decoration

SWF #33 - x-mas decoration (close up 1)

Hello and welcome to a brand new week.  Before I go into the new challenge for stamp with fun I want to say I’m sorry for being MIA for most of last week.  I had a hectic week and to top it off I didn’t feel too good either, but I’m on the mend now so hopefully normal service will be resumed :)

For the stamp with fun challenge this week the DT were asked to make an x-mas calendar or decoration.  Now as I was a little short on time I decided to make a x-mas themed door hanger.  I used my new gorgeous the greeting farm image called ‘Madelynn’ (from dies to die for)  and coloured her with my promarkers.  I also added stickles to her buttons and heart on her jacket.  The lovely papers are K & Co and I used my new MS drippy goo paper punch (also available at dies to die for) to resemble icicles and my MS arctic snowflake punch.  The sentiment was created on the pc and cut out with my circle nesties.  The tulle ribbon is from tabby crafts and I used my crop-a-dile to make the holes for the snowflake eyelets (from the crop-a-dile kit).  I used a white gel pen to draw some faux stitches around the edge of the hanger.  The green ribbon is from my stash.

You must check out the rest of the DT creations as they are all stunningly beautiful, much better than little ‘ol mine :)

The prize on offer this week is a gorgeous stamp, courtesy of Tina, one of the DT.

Passion for Promarkers #25 – DT card

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Well it’s Tuesday so that must mean one thing……a new challenge over at passion for promarkers. Our challenge this week has been set by Ida and she has given us a fantastic sketch to work with and of course we can use any colour promarkers we like *yay*.

For my card I used my new stamp from squiggle stamps called ‘snowflake daisy’ and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Coat, hat, boots and gloves – cool aqua & duck egg

Scarf – cool aqua, ice grey 2 & 3

Headband and tights – ice grey 2 & 3

Hair – tan & caramel

Skin – ivory, blush & pastel pink

Outline – ice grey 1

I added flower soft to the fluffy bits and also to the snowflake.

The paper is from a dovecraft paper pad called winter wonderland that I bought last christmas and the silver card is from my stash. The snowflakes are punched out of bazzill bling card with my MS arctic snowflake punch. The sentiment is PM and I used my circle nesties to cut out my image. I hope you enjoy using the sketch as much as we did.

Our sponsor this week is the secret crafter and one lucky winner will receive £10.00 to spend in their online store.

CCC challenge 65 - snow much fun

CCC challenge 65 - snow much fun (close up)

It’s Monday so that means a new challenge over at cupcake craft challenge.  This week Donna has given us the theme of ‘snow much fun’ and for my card I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Becky at Christmas’.  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added flower soft in polar white to resemble the snow.  Now I know Becky wouldn’t really be standing in the snow with her socks on but for the sake of my card she’s a rebel!!  The gorgeous paper is K & Co (not sure of the name) and the shimmery card is bazzill bling.  I used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge and my MS arctic snowflake punch.  The ‘JOY’ letters are by Amanda Blu and I got them from QVC- aren’t they lush?  A very girly card but I love it :)

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  They have some gorgeous digi images, so even if you don’t win you should check them out :)

Hello and welcome to another week, which means a new challenge over at stamp with fun.  Our challenge this week is a fab sketch by Andrea (Emmi41) and this is my effort!  I used my new gorgeous stamp from charmed cards & crafts called ‘holly pixie’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The paper is from a paper pad that I got last Christmas by dovecraft called contemporary Christmas and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  I used my circle nesties to cut out the image and a sizzix holly die to cut out the holly in the corner.  The sentiment is SU from the circle of friendship stamp set and the circles in the corners were punched with a woodware punch and shaped to resemble the dots from craftwork cards (only slightly larger!).

I hope you will check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all beautiful.

Our sponsor this week is Aud Design and the winner can choose two stamp sheets (picture shows an example of what you could receive!).

b'day card (12)

b'day card (12) close up

Hello and welcome to a wet and windy Saturday here is Wales – hope the weather is a bit better wherever you are! My card today is for two challenges, the polka doodle challenge from last week (ends tomorrow) was ‘a male card and at least 3 brads’ and the quixotic challenge, which started this week and their first challenge is an easy one ‘birthdays’. I stamped TGF image called ‘Edward’ and coloured him with my promarkers. The papers are DCWV (again) and the plain kraft card is from elzybells. The sentiment was created on the pc and cut out with my SU oval punches. The brads are from my stash. I really like this card, I think the papers and colours are perfect for a young boy (even if I say so myself lol!) Thanks for stopping by today.
