Passion for Promarkers #15 – DT card

PFP challenge 15 - girly & glittery

PFP challenge 15 - girly & glittery (close up)

Wow we are already at week 15 over at passion for promarkers, I can’t believe where the weeks are going.  This week’s challenge has been chosen by Caryn and she has asked us for ‘girly and glittery’ creations but we can use any colour promarkers (great for everyone who hasn’t got all the colours yet).

Our sponsor this week is the secret crafter and the lucky winner will receive 6 promarkers of their choice.

For my card I used a digi image from sassy design studio and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Skin – ivory and blush

Dress & shoes – carmine and magenta

Hair – canary, yellow and mustard

Cake – spice, terracotta and pastel pink

Lips – red

Outline of image – cool grey 1

I also used a white gel pen for highlights and added stickles to the frosting of the cupcake.

The gorgeous paper is all BG from the lemonade paper pad and the plain cs is from the papermill shop.  I used my circle nesties to cut out the image and my ek success medium and small retro flower punches for the flowers (I added a dot of stickles to the centres).  The sentiment is stamping bella and this was cut out with my SU oval punches.  The stunning adhesives gems were a birthday present from my welsh pal Clare (thanks hun).  I used the sketch for this week’s challenge (#10) at sunday sketch and stamp, so will also be entering my card there.  I hope you enjoy this week’s challenge and can’t wait to visit your blogs and see your lovely creations.  Thanks for stopping by today.

PFP week 12 – DT card

PFP challenge 12 - cocoa & rose pink

PFP challenge 12 - cocoa & rose pink (close up)

Welcome to week 12 over at Passion for Promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Natalie has chosen the colour combo of Cocoa and Rose Pink.  I decided to stamp my new sugar nellie manga image and I coloured it with the following promarkers:

Dress, boots and bows – rose pink, blossom (and cocoa for buttons)

Tights and sleeves – rose pink and cocoa (highlights with white gel pen)

Hair – cocoa

Skin – Ivory, blush and pastel pink

Shading around image – cool grey 1

The pink paper is doodlebug cupcake swiss dot (available from dies to die for) and the brown paper is SU.  I cut out the image with my new ‘labels 3’ nesties (birthday money again).  The flower was made by punching two medium ek success flowers and adding a brad in the centre, which says sweetie, quite apt I think!  The leaves were punched out with my L-em leaf punch (available at the hobby house here)and the adhesive pearl is kanban.  The super cute sentiment is PB.

Our sponsor this week is Yellow Moon and the prize is a £10.00 voucher to spend on any of the craft supplies and children's crafts at Baker Ross.

I’m also entering this card for the Sunday sketch and stamp challenge as I used their sketch.

I hope you will join in with our challenge this week and can’t wait to see your gorgeous creations.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Sunday sketch & stamp #3/ASFOS #53/charisma cardz #21

This card was made for one our the doctors at my hospital who has just had her second baby girl awww. I managed to combine three challenges into this card, which I haven't done for a while lol! Firstly the sketch is this week's Sunday sketch & stamp challenge, ASFOS this week is looking for lace and the charisma cardz challenge this week is 'going dotty' (which includes circles). Anyway onto the card..... I stamped the elzybells image and coloured it with my promarkers, adding stickles to the star. The sentiment is from a set by verve called family phrases. The dp is all by making memories (again from the candy I received from Sally-Ann) and the velvet ribbon is from my stash. The decorative lace edging was cut with my fiskars border punch and the flowers and charm (which I know is not that clear but says princess) are from my stash. The adhesive stones are PM. I love baby cards, especially baby girl cards, although I don't seem to make that many. Thanks for stopping by.
