CCC challenge #82 - going green

CCC challenge #82 - going green (close up)

This week’s theme over at cupcake craft challenge has been chosen by Kathrin and is ‘going green’.  You can interpret that as you wish i.e colour scheme, St. Patrick’s Day cards or even recycling!  Our sponsor this week is stitchy stamps and the DT were able to use some of their images – so I chose this gorgeous image called ‘butterfly fairy’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  The lovely papers are BG from the origins paper pad and the image was cut out with my nesties (labels 3).  The ribbon is dovecraft and the sentiment ticket is from pink gem designs.  The swirl/pearls combo are rub-ons by basic grey and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts.  I used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge.

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is stitchy stamps and one lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice (there are some wonderful images to choose from – you’ll be spoilt for choice!)

The rest of the DT have once again created some wonderful samples to inspire you.  If you have the time please pop over and take a look.

SWF #50 - sketch (close up)

This week we have a wonderful sketch to follow over at stamp with fun challenge.  For my card I used my new WOJ image called ‘shopping Willow’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The gorgeous papers are BG from the sugar rush paper pad and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The flowers were cut out with my x-cut flower punch and the leaves were cut with my MS frond punch.  I also used a small circle punch for the flower centres and added a small dot of stickles for some extra bling.  The adhesive pearls are from Joanna Sheen and the lace is from my stash.  I didn’t add a sentiment when I took the photo, although afterwards I gave it to my mother for Mother’s Day.

The rest of the DT have created some fantastic samples so please pop over and take a look.

Susie’s sassy challenge #10 – DT project

Well the last fortnight has flown by and it’s now time for a new challenge over at Susie’s sassy challenge.  The theme for this fortnight is ‘Easter’ (so a nice easy one for you).  I decided not to make a card this time (WHY I ask myself) and made a cute little hanger (sorry the pics are so bad but it was really hard to photograph).

SSC #10 - Easter SSC #10 - Easter (2)

 SSC #10 - Easter (1)

The image is ‘Easter Anya’ from the greeting farm and I coloured her with promarkers.  The gorgeous card is bazzill bling and the ribbon is SU.  The ‘eggs’ were made by using the smallest oval nestie and I added strips of patterned paper to make them resemble Easter eggs.  The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive stones are from Joanna Sheen

The prize for this fortnight’s challenge is a guest designer spot with us for our challenge on 8th April – definitely a prize worth entering for – I’m sure you’ll agree.  Please check out the rest of the DT cards/projects as they are all stunning.

I can also enter my hanger in the following challenges:

Rosie D’s challenge – think spring

Roses on paper challenge – Easter

The townscrapper challenge – spring/warm weather

Stamp something challenge – something girly

Creatalicious challenge – a little something

Stampavie & more #85 – Guest DT card

stampavie & more #85 - orange and another colour

stampavie & more #85 - orange and another colour (close up)

The theme this week over at stampavie and more challenge is ‘orange and another colour’ so I decided to go with orange and brown (mmmm very chocolatey!).  I used an older image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Ella’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  I cut her out with my circle nesties and attempted the out of bounds technique, although I’m still not that good at it lol!  The papers are BG from the gorgeous sugar rush paper pad and the plain card is SU chocolate chip.  The ribbon is also SU and the flowers were cut out with my small ek success retro flower punch.  The strip of card across the middle was run through the cuttlebug with the divine swirl embossing folder.  The sentiment was created on the pc and cut out with my SU oval all punches.  The adhesive pearls are from Joanna Sheen

Please check out the rest of the DT cards are they are all stunning.

PFP challenge #42 - bright green & mango (close up)

Hello – it’s Tuesday, so it must mean a new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  Our theme this week has been chosen by Sarah W (GDT) and she would like us to use the colour combo of ‘mango and bright green’.  For my card I used a super cute digi image from CC designs called ‘Heidi among the flowers’ and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Dress – bright green and mango

Boots and hair bobbles – bright green

Wings - almond

Flowers – mango and added stickles to the centres

Hair – tan, caramel and cinnamon

Skin – ivory, blush and pastel pink

Grass – meadow green

Shading – ice grey 1

The papers are all MME from the bloom and grow paper pad and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The ribbon was a RAK from Michelle and I added mini buttons and put adhesive gems on top for a different look (although not something I will do again lol!)  I inked all the edges with a colorbox cat’s eye chalk inkpad in tangerine.

Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

CCC challenge 81 - flower power

CCC challenge 81 - flower power (close up)

Hello, I’m back again to show you my cupcake craft challenge DT card.  Our theme this week has been chosen by the lovely Donna and is ‘flower power’ and we are lucky to be sponsored by Digital Delights by Louby Lou.  Myself and the DT were able to use some of their cute images and my card features one of their images called ‘Claudia cow’.  I coloured it with my promarkers and add stickles to the flower centres.  The gorgeous dotty papers are from the polka dot paper pad by wild rose studio and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The image was cut out with my oval nesties and I added a dot in each scallop with my white gel pen.  The beautiful flowers are all from wild orchid crafts and the leaves were cut out with my MS frond punch.  I also added stickles to the flowers but it’s quite difficult to tell in larger photo (although I think the close up pic is a little better).  The ribbon is from fantastic ribbons and it’s really glittery IRL and the stunning decorative brad was a RAK from Claire.

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Lou and the prize up for grabs is a $10.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.

Stamp with fun #49 – DT card

SWF #49 - spring

SWF #49 - spring (close up)

Hello and welcome to a brand new week (don’t the weekends just go by too fast).  For our brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge our theme is spring.  For my card I used a glorious image by Mo Manning called ‘Mary tapping’ and she seems to be jumping for joy ‘cos spring has sprung.  I coloured the image with promarkers and used the blender to bleach out some of the colour on her skirt.  The papers are K & Co from the sparkly sweet paper pad and the plain card is SU.  The sentiment was created on the pc and cut out with my SU circle punches.  The yellow ribbon is dovecraft and the dotty ribbon is american crafts.  The adhesive stones are from my stash and I paper pricked the corner of the image panel with my pokey tool.  The butterfly was cut with my MS punch and the decorative edge was created with my fiskars threading water punch.

We are sponsored this week by Kreativart and the prize is this gorgeous K & Co paper pad.
