OCC Challenge

This week's OCC challenge was to follow a sketch and this is what I came up with. The dp came from a pack I got from QVC and the plain brown cs is bazzill. The magnolia image was kindly sent to me by Diane (again) and I watercoloured it with my marvy markers. Not too sure about this one as I feel there's "something" missing. Thanks for looking.

CCT & Penny Black challenge

I've combined challenges again this week. The CCT challenge this week was "the great outdoors" and Penny Black challenge was "buttons & brads". I used a gorgeous penny black image kindly sent to me by Diane (Pink Sunflower) which I coloured with pencils. The sentiment is by stampendous. The dp is by K & Co and the flowers, buttons & brads are from my stash. Hope you like. Thanks for looking.

Friday Sketchers & Funky Fairy Challenges

This is my effort at this week's Friday Sketchers & Funky Fairy challenges. Obviously the Friday Sketchers challenge is to follow a sketch and the Funky Fairy challenge is to make a get well soon card. I used a gorgeous Elzybells image, which I coloured with pencils, and Elzybells sentiment. I used the same dp as on a previous card, and again not sure who its from, as it didn't have a name on it. I used plain green cs from the papermill shop and brads from my stash. Quite a simple card but I like it. I gave it to my mother as she has recently been in hospital. Thanks for looking.

Mega candy

Karen at http://karenscreation.blogspot.com is offering fabbo candy due to the fact that she has taken a huge step and set up her own craft business in France. Pop along and check out what's on offer. Thanks for looking.

Can you help?

I've been asked by two separate people to make a card with a cricketing theme. Does anyone have any images they could swap with me or know of a stamp I could get? Thanks for looking.

New home

My friend wanted a new home card suitable for a girl, and this is what I came up with. I used a magnolia image sent to me by Diane at http://pink-sunflower.blogspot.com/ which I cut out and watercoloured with my marvy markers. The dp I used didn't have a name on it so it possibly came from a stack that I bought from QVC (but not 100% sure). The plain green cs is from the papermill shop. The adhesive stones are by papermania. I used my pc for the wording. Thanks for looking.

Motorbike card

A friend at work asked me to make her a card to give to her husband who loves motorbikes. This was a bit of a problem as I don't have any stamps relating to motorbikes. However I googled bikes and printed out a pic which I thought was suitable. I cut out the image and raised it up on foam pads. I used dp from a papermania paper pack called For Him and papermania sticky ribbon to cover the join. I used my pc for the wording and the 3 brads and adhesive stones are also by papermania. Thanks for looking.
