Passion for Promarkers #144–DT card

Happy Tuesday dear friends.  Oh dear it’s back to work for me today *groan* but on the plus side it’s a shorter working week *yay*.  Another plus is that it’s time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Maya has set the theme and she has chosen “white on white”, such a pretty theme isn’t it.  We only want to see your image coloured, all your papers/card must be white but we will allow lightly inked edges!  The only problem with WOW cards is photographing them (and you know that’s not my strongest area anyway lol!).  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 144 - white on white

PFP challenge 144 - white on white (close up)

I have used a beautiful stamp from Crafts and Me called ‘city girl’ and coloured her with promarkers.  It is a brand new stamp and even though I stamped it about 4 times I couldn’t get a perfect impression.  I even tried blotting the stamp with cellotape to try and remove any residue – any ideas for next time I use it!  I went a bit mad with all the dies I used including Marianne creatables rolled roses, die-namics butterflies and die-namics border die.  The embossing folder is from sizzix and is called ‘folksy fun’.  I inked the edges with a cats eye chalk ink pad and added some white pearls to finish.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and one lucky winner will receive a Promarker Stamping Kit.

I’m rushing to do the post before work so will add this later!

I hope you can join in with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing what you create.  Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by today.

PFP #139/stamp with fun #151

Good morning dear friends.  I’m sorry for the long absence between posts, I wasn’t feeling 100% last week and had a really bad headache all week.  Fortunately I’m feeling better this week (so far) but that could have something to do with the fact that I have a week off work *woohoo*.

However I’m still dis-organised and have had to combine two of my DT cards – stamp with fun challenge this week is “pink & green” and the new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge (which I have chosen) is “for mum/female relative”.  I thought I would give you a head start in making your mother’s day cards as it’s only 12 days away!!  However I’m also aware that some of you sadly don’t have a mother to celebrate with so will accept cards for any female relative.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 139 - mother's day or female relative

PFP challenge 139 - mother's day or female relative (close up)

I did have every intention of making a mother’s day card but when my auntie asked me to make her a 2nd birthday card for her great grand-daughter I used this card instead as time was against me (as usual)!  The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and is from the ‘Fairy Hattie collection’.  I coloured her with promarkers and added stickles to her wings.  The papers are do crafts from the gorgeous forever friends ‘new arrival’ designstax and the plain card is SU pink pirouette.  I used a Marianne die for the rolled roses and a die-namics die for the number 2.

Our sponsor this week is the lovely Emma from Crafty Emma’s store and she is offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher (excl. p&p) to spend in her online store.

Cupcake craft challenge #180–DT card

Hello again friends.  Don’t faint, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge and the lovely Keeley has set the theme and she has chosen “pink fluffy cupcakes”.  So basically we want to see you use pink as the main colour, include something fluffy and at least one cupcake – simples!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 180 - pink fluffy cupcakes

CCC challenge 180 - pink fluffy cupcakes (close up)

I have used a cute image from The Greeting Farm called ‘cupcake Anya’ and coloured her with a mix of promarkers and flex markers.  The papers are papermania from the ‘sweet nothings’ paper pad and the card is SU.  My “fluffy” part is the flower which I die cut out of felt (1 rolled flower and 2 magnolia doohickey flowers glued together).  I got the felt from dies to die for who are now selling 12x12 pieces in lots of gorgeous colours.  I made this card for my mother to give to her friend and it’s A5 in size.

Our sponsor this week is Prairie Fairy and one lucky winner will receive a $10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Stamp with fun #149–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  Oh dear another week has gone by with a poor show from me – sorry!  I don’t know where the time is going; I have really good intentions but then it’s 2am and I’m too tired to blog!!  I promise that I will try and be more organised with my posts this week – starting with today lol!

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week we have an easy theme for you of “shapes”.  Here is my card:

SWF #149 - shapes

SWF #149 - shapes (close up)

I’m sorry for the dark photos but the papers were quite vintage-y so I didn’t want to mess around with them too much as it would spoil the overall effect.  I have used a super cute image from Teddy Bo and coloured it with my promarkers and flex markers.  The papers are from my stash (and I’ve had them for ages – no names on them sorry) and the pink card is SU.  The gold mirri card is also from my stash.  The flourish is a Marianne creatables die and I used a MS punch for the butterflies.  I made this card for an order and it’s A5 in size.  The shapes I’ve used are rectangles, circles and hearts.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Passion for promarkers #114–DT card

Good morning dear friends, how are you all doing this morning?  Unfortunately by the time you are reading this I will be in work *groan* but hey I have to pay for my crafty goodies somehow lol!  I’m back this morning as it’s time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week I have the honour of setting the theme and have chosen “no patterned paper”.  Now as you know I LOVE my papers so I really don’t know what possessed me to pick this theme haha!  Definitely a challenge then and I’m sure lots of you are like me too and love your paper, but if I can do it then you can to!  Don’t forget you must use your promarkers, aqua markers, tria markers, or even flex markers if you’re lucky enough to have them, to be eligible for our prize draw.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 114 - no patterned paper

PFP challenge 114 - no patterned paper (close up)

It wasn’t a deliberate act but I seem to have used another sugar nellie stamps image today and this one is called ‘delicious’ and that cake certainly does look delicious doesn’t it.  She is obviously coloured with promarkers and I’ve just used yellow and kraft cardstock.  The yellow card is embossed with my swiss dots embossing folder and the kraft cardstock has been run through a card ribbler!!  The gorgeous lace is from wild orchid crafts

Our sponsor this week is whiff of joy stamps and the lucky winner will receive one of their newly released stamps called “which direction”.

Winter wonderland–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I can’t believe it’s Friday already, my week has just gone by in a flash – which is fine with me lol!  My bathroom is coming along well, albeit slowly, but I’m sure it is going to look fantastic when it’s finished.  I hope you’ve all had a brilliant week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

It’s time for a brand new challenge over at winter wonderland challenge and this week it is my turn to set the theme.  I decided that although we all really struggle with men’s cards we do still have to make them so I chose “cards for men/boys” as my theme.  I am lucky enough to be able to share a sneak peek of an image that is due to be released over at DigiStamp Boutique called “Henry & presents” but you won’t have to wait long to get it as Sally-Ann is releasing lots of gorgeous new images in the next day or so.  Here is my card:

WW #14 - boys & men

Isn’t it such a super cute image?  I love DSB images so much and they are so easy to colour in.  You will not be disappointed with the new releases I promise you.  There are a few new Christmas images (including the one I’m sharing today) and also some gorgeous every day images too.  I’ll let you know as soon as they are available in the shop.  The papers are from my new wild rose studio “traditional Christmas” paper pack and the snowflakes have been cut with a marianne creatables die.

We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have Crafty Emma’s store and she is offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher (excl. p&p) to spend in her online store.

Winter wonderland–DT card

Happy Saturday everyone.  Did you all watch the Royal Wedding yesterday?  I wasn’t planning on watching it (apart from a quick glimpse at the dress) but ending up glued to the TV until the coverage finished at 4.00pm lol!  Her dress was gorgeous and they seemed so happy.  I wish them a happy and healthy future together.

In all the excitement yesterday I completely forgot to schedule my post to show you my DT card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge!!  The lovely Marianne has set the theme and she has chosen “snow much fun”, but she doesn’t want to see simply snowmen etc she wants to see people having fun in the snow i.e. skating, making a snowman etc.  Here is my card:

WW #7 - snow much fun

WW #7 - snow much fun (close up)

I used a super cute image from Phindy’s place, which I recently won in one of their challenges.  I went for a fairly bright colour scheme but I quite like it.  Since I still had my flowersoft out on my desk I decided to use it on the snowflakes and on the ground, then it was the obligatory snowflake and some pearls and my card was done!

Our sponsor this week is stamping dragon designs and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice.

Passion for promarkers #96–DT card

Happy Good Friday everyone.  I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.  I’ve got nothing planned but it is soooo nice to have a long weekend off from work lol!  Oh my goodness I thought I was going to be so organised this week with my posts but here we are again with my DT card for the passion for promarkers challenge 3 days late!!  I don’t know what happened but it’s better late than never I suppose haha!  This week’s theme has been set by Nic and she has chosen “white on white”, which I really like the look of, but it’s something that I always seem to struggle with!  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 96 - white on white

PFP challenge 96 - white on white (close up)

I’m sorry that the photos are so naff but I must have taken about 15 photos and these were the best, they were either too dark or way too light – as it’s so white it is really difficult to capture properly.  I hope you can use your imagination as the card is much nicer IRL honest!  It’s difficult to tell in the photos but apart from distressing all the edges I also stickled them to within an inch of their lives, so it is really sparkly (shame you can’t see it!).  I have used a super fun image from Bugaboo stamps, that I recently won in one of their challenges and the sentiment also comes with the image.  I went with a cool blue colour scheme as I thought it would be a nice and crisp contrast to all the white.

Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  You will be spoilt for choice as Sally-Ann has so many gorgeous images to choose from.

Winter wonderland #–DT card

Good morning dear friends, here is another catch up post from me!  Hopefully things will return to normal now as my dad is finally home from hospital and is doing really well.  I’m taking my tablets, like a good girl (lol!), so I’m hoping I will start to feel back to normal soon as well (well as normal as I can!).  Ok, onto the reason you are here – to see a card!  This is my card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge and Lynsey has chosen the theme of “a little mistletoe”.  Here is my card:

WW #6 - a little mistletoe

WW #6 - a little mistletoe (close up)

I had a bit of a panic when I heard the theme and couldn’t think of one single image I had that included mistletoe but after wracking my little brain and checking my digi images I found this cutie from Prairie Fairy. I have coloured her with promarkers in fairly traditional colours.

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
