OCC challenge/Forever Friends challenge/Stamp Something challenge

I've combined another three challenges with this card - it's the only way I can do them all LOL! The OCC challenge this week was a sketch (which I turned on its side). The FF challenge was to use your favourite colour (which is a tie between red and pink) and the stamp something challenge was 'Something New' and as I had this lovely FF image out of my christmas money I thought this could count for that. I stamped the lovely FF image and coloured him with my pro-markers. The dp is a freebie from a craft magazine and the red cs is from the papermill shop. The heart was cut using a paper punch and the adhesive dots are from QVC. The scalloped edge (which is difficult to see in this pic) was done with fiskars decorative scissors. The gorgeous lace is also a new buy from eggstravaganza. Thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday challenge #32

I made this card for this week's sketch saturday challenge #32. I stamped the stamping bella image, coloured her with my pro-markers and added stickles to the cupcake. The dp is all BG from the Eva paper pack. The flowers and buttons are from my stash. I really like how this card turned out, very girly!! Thanks for looking.

Pink Cat Studio Contest/Secret Crafter Challenge #13/Papertake challenge

I made this card for three challenges this week. The first one is the Pink Cat Studio contest for which you had to download the black and white Lily pic, colour her however you like and make a card (the contest end 13th January - just click the link for more info). The second challenge is the secret crafter challenge #13 which is a sketch and the third challenge was the papertake challenge which was 'seeing spots'. I obviously downloaded the Lily image and coloured her with my pro-markers and added sakura glaze pen to the flower. I also used my white gel pen to highlight certain areas. The dp by 3 bugs in a rug is double sided and I used both sides. The pink cs is from the papermill shop and the sentiment is by WOJ. The buttons are by doodlebug. Thanks for looking.

2009 wall calendar

Every year I make a calendar for my mother for her wall. This year I downloaded a calendar template by Amuse stamps and stamped random images in the corners of the months e.g. for Jan I stamped a See D's image to depict new year and for Oct I stamped the changito image for halloween etc. I won't bore you with all twelve pics but this just shows the finished result, I used my pc for the wording on the front page and used curlz mt font. I used pro-markers on all images and the cs is from DCWV nanna's nursery (boy & girl) paper stacks. I cut holes with my crop-a-dile and used eyelets from the crop-a-dile kit. The bookrings and ribbon are from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Cupcake Craft challenge #21

The cupcake craft challenge this week is to use glitter on your cards. Well these gorgeous K & Co grand adhesions were the main inspiration for this card as I loved the colour and especially the glitteryness (if that's a word) of them. My mother wanted a card for her best friend's birthday and I remembered I had a booklet of vellum sentiments by K & Co and this sentiment jumped out at me. I added white cs to the back of the clear sentiment and attached it with gemstone brads by PM. The sentiments were done on the pc. The gorgeous dp is by PM as well and the yellow cs is bazzill. I thinks it's a bright and cheery birthday card. Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday # 41

This week's CCT challenge is an open theme, you can make any card you like. I had to make a card for a friend's birthday so this is my entry this week. I stamped the CC designs image and coloured her with my pro-markers. The black cs is bazzill bling and the dp was a free download that I printed out ages ago (and promptly forgotten where it came from). The sentiment is WOJ and the adhesive gems are by kaiser craft. I did follow a sketch but printed it out and forgot to mark where I got it from (if anyone recognises it let me know). It's only day 5 of the new year and my brain is addled already haha!! Thanks for looking.

My Time To Craft Challenge #42

Hi All, this is my card for this week's MTTC challenge #42 which is 'Easy Elegance'. My Great-Aunt celebrated her 97th birthday yesterday and this was the card I made for her. I stamped the See-D's image and coloured it with my pro-markers. I used gorgeous (and elegant) dp by cosmo cricket (which is double sided, so perfect for colour matching). I punched out 3 circles and 1 scalloped circle with my marvy punches and also used my new blinky marvy paper punch just for added decoration with a brad through the centre. The sentiment was done on my pc. The brown ric-rac ribbon is from my stash. The very small circles were also punched out of the dp for a change from gems which wouldn't really fit with the vintage theme. Thanks for looking.
