60th Birthday card

A colleague I work with was celebrating her 60th birthday today and this is the card I made for her. I was sent the stamping bella image by Tracy and I coloured it with my pro-markers, adding stickles (as usual!). I used the gorgeous glittered dp from the blossoms and butterflies paper stack by DCWV. The plain yellow paper is a scrap that was on my desk, not sure who makes it. The larger flower is by Heidi Swapp and the smaller flower and button are from my stash. I used my pc for the sentiment. Thanks for looking.

Meet my super fat, super lazy kitty!!

My son took this pic of our kitty Daisy relaxing (AGAIN) on the computer whilst I was beavering away at my blog. It's a tough job being a kitty isn't it. >:)

Jen's SFYTT

I had a male birthday card to make and liked the look of the sketch on Jen's blog for her SFYTT (sketch for you to try) this week. I stamped the penny black image and coloured him with promakers. I used dp from the men's paper pack by papermania and also added papermania adhesive stones. The plain blue cs is from the papermill shop and the brown cs is bazzill bling. I used my pc for the sentiment (segoe script font). Thanks for looking.

Friday Sketches & Penny Black challenge

This is my entry this week for both the Friday Sketchers challenge and the Penny Black challenge (which was "No Pink"). I stamped the PB image and coloured it with pro-markers and used a sakura stardust pen to highlight areas on the coloured image. I used dp from the butterflies and blossoms paper pad by DCWV along with plain cs from the papermill shop. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash. The small adhesive gems were from QVC. The stamped sentiment is from a set called "its my birthday" by CC designs. Thanks for looking.

Cricket card

I was aksed to make a cricketting card for a 75 year old man. I was kindly sent the image by Tracy, which I coloured with my pro-markers. The cricket words and cricket ball strip were cut from a sheet of paper from the men's paper pack by papermania. The green check dp is by magenta. The sentiment was done on my pc (segoe script font). Thanks for looking.

Can you help?

I was wondering if anyone has the Funstamps Prize Pony stamp? I've been asked to make a card for a little girl who loves horses and this stamp is fab. I would be happy to swap some stamped images if anyone is interested. Please leave me a comment or email me. I need it quite soon so would appreciate it your help. Thanks for looking.

Handyman card

I had to make a card for a man (groan). I remembered that I recently bought CC Designs Handyman Jack set, so this was perfect. I stamped the image and coloured him with my pro-markers. I used patterned dp from the men's paper pack by papermania. The orange paper was a scrap piece I had left from another project. I've had the "screw" brads in my stash for ages just waiting for the ideal card to use them on - now I've had the chance, although I can now see that I stuck them on a little crocked (d'oh). The sentiment was done on my pc (papyrus font). I used an old sketch by Taylor. Thanks for looking.
