Charisma cardz challenge #7

This is my entry for this week's charisma cardz challenge, which is 'hugs & cuddles'. I used a ready made holographic box (from tesco) which I really didn't like and covered it with gorgeous dp by cosmo cricket. The image (I think the bear looks like he's cuddling his heart) was a freebie from a craft magazine which I coloured with my pro-markers, adding highlights with a white gel pen. The ribbon is from my stash and the adhesive dots are from QVC. The pics show that I covered the inside too (albeit a little sloppily) and I'm really pleased with the end result - much better than it began (sorry forgot the before photo AGAIN!). Have a great evening. I'll be back later with another card. Thanks for looking.

Welcome little one

I made this card for a friend who has just had a beautiful baby boy. I stamped the snag 'em giraffe image by imaginisce and coloured him with my pro-markers. I used my marvy scallop oval punch to punch him out and inked the edge with a cat's eye chalk ink pad. The gorgeous dp is also by imaginisce and matches the stamp. The plain cs is bazzill bling. Ribbon and buttons are from my stash and the sentiment is a rub-on by scrap-ease. I also decorated a gift pouch that I bought very cheaply from Tesco's with the same items, just in slightly different configuration. I thought it was a little different to just wrapping my gift. Sorry for the terrible photo but the holographic pattern on the pouch was really hard to photograph well. Thanks for looking.
