Stamp with fun #156–DT card

Oops sorry I got mixed up with my days and forgot to schedule my posts this morning lol!  Anyway Happy Easter Monday dear friends.  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and ate lots of lovely yummy chocolate.  I was quite reserved for me (only because I didn’t have very much) but the boys had lots of eggs and sweets as usual.  I’m sure I can sneak a few bits off them when they’re not looking lol!

I’m here this morning to share my card for the stamp with fun challenge and this week we have a fantastic sketch to follow.  I needed to make a card for an order so this sketch was perfect for me – here is my card:

SWF #156 - sketch

SWF #156 - sketch (close up)

and here is the sketch:

SWF #156 sketch

My auntie ordered this card to give to her great-grandson who’s football mad so I used this super cute image from Pollycraft called “skills” and coloured it with my promarkers and flex markers.  The papers are a bit of mish mash!  The striped yellow paper is SU from the ‘subtle paper patterns stack’ and the other pieces of paper/card are from my piles of off cuts!  I found the footballs whilst searching on Google images and I’m really pleased with them.  They will definitely come in handy for future football themed cards.  The finished card is A5 in size.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Cardmadfairy’s digi days challenge – die cuts and/or punches

Catch the bug challenge – anything goes

CES challenge – swirls and pearls

Crazy 4 challenges challenge – blue, white + 1 other colour (mine is yellow)

 Joanna Sheen challenge – it’s a man’s world

OSAAT challenge – use a digi

Pile it on challenge – All about ‘S’ (swirls, stripes, sport)

Cards for men challenge – spring colours

I hope you can join in with our challenge this week and I cannot wait to see what you create.  I’ll be back later with my DT card for the cupcake craft challenge but until then enjoy your extra bank holiday day off work (if you’re lucky enough to have one) and I’ll see you later.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend.  Today is the final day of my week off from work so I’m taking my mother out for some lunch and a look around the shops, although she is suffering with her arthritis in her knee at the moment so we’ll probably be having lots of coffee breaks in between (but I’m not complaining as it will be more time to chat and people watch lol!)

I’m here this morning with my card for the new challenge over at winter wonderland challenge.  This week the lovely Marianne has set the theme and she has chosen “it takes two” so she would like to see 2 people/snowmen etc in one image – fairly simple I thought until I couldn’t find any image I had with only two characters!  I had lots with 1 and equally lots with 3 but none with 2 – typical!  So after a quick nip to Pollycraft and I found a super cute image to use and here is my card:

WW challenge - it takes two

WW challenge - it takes two (close up)

As I said the image is from pollycraft and is called ‘snow buds’ and I coloured it with promarkers and flex markers.  The papers are my mind’s eye from the ‘be merry’ paper pad and the kraft card is from dies to die for.  I punched the snowflakes with a MS punch and added cute little heart buttons from my stash.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Cupcake craft challenge #181–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend – the weather was so spring like here and looking out the window you would be mistaken for thinking it was April or May, although there was quite a nip in the air.  Can’t complain for the end of February though can we?

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week I have the honour of setting the theme and chose “boys and their toys” which is the complete opposite to Keeley’s girly challenge last week!!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 181 - boys & their toys

CCC challenge 181 - boys & their toys (close up)

I used a super cute image from Pollycraft called ‘skills’ and coloured him with promarkers and flex markers.  The paper is my mind’s eye from the ‘kraft funday’ pad and the black card is from eBay.  All I seem to be making at the moment are cards for boys, but I don’t mind really, as having two boys myself I’m quite used to it lol!

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as usual, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you always leave for us.

By the way from today the teams over at cupcake have now split into two and I’m with Team A so I’ll only be posting a DT creation once every 2 weeks from now on.  However I’ll still be letting you know each week what the challenge is and I hope you’ll still be able to join in each week.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Dream valley challenge – for men (2nd entry)

Paper sundaes challenge – circles

Little darlings challenge – pearls

My mum’s craft shop challenge – buttons and ribbons

Moving along with the times challenge – lots of layers

Simon says stamp challenge – use 3 papers (it looks like I used 4 but I used both sides of a doubled sided paper – hope this is ok?)

Crafty catz weekly challenge - something beginning with B – boy, black, ball, button

Seems a little sketchy challenge – fab sketch

Stamp, scrap and doodle challenge – manly card

The pretty little ribbon shop challenge – anything goes (2nd entry)

I hope you will be able to join in with my challenge this week and I cannot wait to see what you create.  I would like to welcome my newest followers – Jenny and Mandy – *waves hello* welcome ladies, I hope you like my creations and will visit me often.  I’m running late with my stamp with fun challenge DT card this week but I’ll post it as soon as I can.  Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Cupcake craft challenge #178–DT card

Hello again friends.  This is my second post for today so please scroll down to see my earlier card.

I’m doing another catch up post – this time for the cupcake craft challenge.  Our challenge this week is “pink & red” but it doesn’t have to be a Valentine card.  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 178 - pink & red

CCC challenge 178 - pink & red (close up)

The image is by Pollycraft and is called ‘Luna bitterfrost hearts rock’ and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers.  I once again used paper from the my mind’s eye ‘love me’ paper pad and the heart was cut with a go-kreate extra large die (which I cut in the grand caliber).

We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have Pollycraft Designs (who kindly gave me the digi to use on my card) and they are offering a prize of 5 digi images and our second sponsor is Simon Says Stamp and they are offering a $20 gift certificate to use in their online store.

The design team have created amazing cards and projects once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out – you won’t be disappointed I promise.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Passion for promarkers #131–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope Monday was good for you.  I don’t think I mentioned yesterday but my sister went in for some exploratory surgery on her throat yesterday and although we’ll have to wait for the result at least she wasn’t ill after the anaesthetic as she normally is.  They have kept her overnight but hopefully she should come home tomorrow.  After all she’s been through I’m keeping everything crossed for a good result.

I’m here this morning with my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week Gro has set the theme and she has chosen a brilliant challenge – “inspired by a song” (please can you mention in your post what song inspired your card).  Don’t forget you must use your promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers or tria markers to be eligible for our prize draw.  Here is my card which was inspired by “Rockstar” by Nickelback:

PFP challenge 131 - inspired by a song

I have used a cool image from Pollycraft called ‘Luna Bitterfrost – Guitars Rock” and coloured her with promarkers and flex markers.  The pretty papers are my mind’s eye from the ‘a happy heart’ paper pad and the plain cardstock is SU pink pirouette.  I made this card for my niece’s 18th birthday but she isn’t a very girly girl so didn’t add any fluffy embellishments just a couple of gems.  The finished card is A5 in size.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and one lucky winner will receive one of their Promarker Stamping Kits.

Passion for promarkers #128–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope that you are all well this morning and that Monday was good to you!  As I mentioned it was my son’s birthday so we had pizza delivered and we all sat together munching our food and watching a film – which was really nice.    My boys are definitely not my babies anymore and there won’t be many more birthdays left like this one I don’t think *sob*.

Anyway onto the reason you are here.  It’s Tuesday so that means we have a brand new challenge for you over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Tracy has set the theme and she has chosen to give us a sketch to use.  You can rotate the sketch and make minor alterations but we must recognise the original sketch.  Don’t forget you must use your Letraset pens (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, tria markers or aqua markers) to qualify for our prize draw.  Here is my card using Tracy’s sketch:

PFP challenge 128 - sketch

and here is Tracy’s fantastic sketch:

I decided to use the sketch to make a Christmas card for my youngest son and I used a freebie image from Pollycraft called ‘Casper silvermist – too cool for Christmas’ and coloured him with flex markers and promarkers.  The gorgeously stunning papers are bo bunny from the “snowfall collection” and the plain card is papermania from the ‘textured cardstock’ pack.  I kept the card fairly simple and just added some twine, snowflakes and pearls.  The sentiment was created on the pc.

Our sponsor this week is Sugar Nellie Stamps and the prize is yet to be confirmed.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning friends.  Well it’s Friday, so that means that it’s the last day of my holiday!  I’m sure you haven’t missed me that much as I’ve scheduled all my posts this week (well as long as they’ve worked lol!).  I’m back this morning as it’s time for a brand new challenge over at winter wonderland challenge and Suzi has set the theme of “white on white” and the only colour allowed is on your image, the rest has to be white!  Now I really struggle with this type of card and I hate photographing them but I suppose a challenge isn’t supposed to be easy!  Anyway here is my card:

WW #13 - white on white

WW #13 - white on white (close up)

I have used one of the new images from Pollycraft called ‘swings & slides – all the trimmings’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  I have used 2 embossing folders for the background and a gorgeous sizzix swirl die cut.  I’m gutted that I stuck the image on a little wonky but it was stuck down good and proper so couldn’t get it back off!!

Our sponsor this week is Sassy studio designs and the lucky winner will receive 4 digi images of their choice.

The rest of the design team have created gorgeous Christmas cards once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.

I will hopefully be able to join in with some challenges when I get back from my holiday later this evening.

I hope you’ve had a really good week and are looking forward to chilling at the weekend.  I’m hoping that my bathroom is finished (or at least almost finished) when I get home!!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Passion for promarkers #110–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I had a great day in work yesterday – I was so busy that it was home time before I had time to look around (I love days like that) and I hope the rest of the week follows suit lol!  We are planning on going away for a few days next week, so I have to make sure I’m organised with all my DT cards this week.  Now as most of my DT bosses will attest to is that I am always last minute with my cards so I really have to make the extra effort this week!!

Today it is time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge and the lovely Tracy has set the theme and she has chosen “animal crackers”.  It is such a simple theme this week, all you have to do is simply include an animal of any kind on your card or project.  Of course you must use your promarkers or aqua markers to be eligible for our prize draw.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 110 - animal crackers

PFP challenge 110 - animal crackers (close up)

I have used a super sweet image from Pollycraft called ‘Baxter & Bridget – sweethearts’, which I thought was ideal for an engagement card I was asked to make.  The glittery papers are DCWV from the ‘sorbet’ paper stack.   I really like the fresh colour scheme and pretty flower lace, which matches Bridget’s garland in her hair.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and the lucky winner will receive a gorgeous stamping kit.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning everyone, thank goodness it’s Friday!!  Well I wish the weather would make up it’s mind, one minute it’s gorgeous sunshine and blue skies, the next it’s grey skies and pouring with rain.  I got drenched walking from work to the car park yesterday but at least they are promising a mini heat wave this weekend so that will make a nice change!  It will be nice to catch up with my mountain of washing, boring I know but I’m not a sunbathing type of person, but I think everyone is much happier when the sun is shining.

Anyway onto the reason for your visit – to see a card lol!  Over at the winter wonderland challenge we have a brand new challenge and it’s my turn to choose the theme.  Obviously it has to be a Christmas card but I want to see all your “pretty in pink” creations.  I would like it to be predominantly pink but I don’t mind a hint of other colours.  Here is my card:

WW #11 - pretty in pink

WW #11 - pretty in pink (close up)

I have used a gorgeous image from pollycraft called ‘cherry kisses – warm Christmas’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  The papers are dovecraft from the ‘Christmas fancy’ paper pack.  I think I went a bit overboard with the gems but they do look very sparkly and pretty IRL.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Charisma cardz #24–DT card

Happy Thursday everyone.  I can’t believe how fast the week is going, not that I’m complaining!  Let’s hope the weekend doesn’t go quite so fast though.  However unfortunately the weather here has been a bit of a let down so far this week – where is summer?  Let’s hope it starts to improve soon!

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s charisma cardz challenge.  This week the lovely Lora has set the theme and she has chosen a colour challenge for us of “pink and green”, which I have to say is one of my favourites.  Here is my card:

Passion for promarkers #85–DT card

Good morning to all my lovely friends.  I hope you are having a good week so far.  I was well enough to go back to work yesterday (groan) although my back is still not 100% better.  It was lovely to see all my friends at work, and they always make me feel so valued and missed, which is wonderful but I still think I’d rather be home crafting lol!  I’m back again this morning with my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week it’s Ida’s turn to set the theme and she has chosen to give us an inspirational photo to use.  Here is the photo:

PFP challenge 85 Ida's inspirational photo

It’s entirely up to you what you take from the picture, whether it be the colour scheme, the clouds or even just the landscape scene itself.  I decided to use the colour scheme as I needed a card for a male friend in work and the blue/white/light brown colours worked really well for that.  Here is my card:
