Cupcake craft challenge #175–DT card

Good evening dear friends.  I apologise for my late post today but we had a new computer on the weekend and unfortunately I still don’t have half of what I need on it yet, so it’s going to be slow going for a little while until I re-discover and download everything I’m used to.

I’m here with my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge and this week the lovely Louise has set the theme and she has chosen “born on a winter’s day” so that means we'd like to see your wintery themed birthday cards.  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 175 - born on a winter's day

CCC challenge 175 - born on a winter's day (close up)

I used a super image from wee stamps called “winter fairy” and I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers.  I added flower soft to all her fluffy bits and also to the ground for snow.  The papers are SU from the ‘designer paper patterns stack – subtles collection’ and the card is ‘not quite navy’ and ‘crumb cake’, both again by SU.

Our sponsor this week is My Mum’s Craft Shop and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Phindy’s challenge – tic tac toe(ribbon/pearls/flowers)

2 sisters challenge – metal

Catch the bug challenge – birthday

Mark’s finest papers challenge – use a border punch

One stop craft challenge – spots & ribbon (I’ve used spotty ribbon hope it’s ok)

Sentimental Sunday challenge – ribbon & sentiment

I hope you can join in with our challenge this week and can’t wait to see what you create.  I haven’t felt very well all weekend so I’m completely behind with all my DT cards but hopefully I’ll catch up over the next few days so I’ll be a bit late with my cards this week.  I really appreciate your lovely comments and look forward to receiving them. Have a great evening and thanks so much for stopping by today.

Sorry my pics are a bit dark today, not sure why but I hope you can see in the close up pic that I have added flowersoft to the spots on the egg and also stickles on the dots on her bow!  The image is from one of our sponsors the stamping boutique and is called ‘bunny egg’ – isn’t it just so sweet.  I have coloured it with promarkers.  I cut out 3 ovals using my oval nesties to signify eggs but not sure if they look the part lol!

To celebrate Easter we have extra sponsors this week!!  We have make the day special who are offering a fantastic stamp set to one lucky winner.

Sketch Conny

SWF #34 - sketch

SWF #34 - sketch (close up 1)

SWF #34 - sketch (close up 2)

This week over at stamp with fun challenge we have a lovely sketch by Conny to follow. For my card I used my new stamp by pink gem designs called ‘baby’s first christmas’. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used flower soft for the fluffy bits! I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. The patterned papers are by doooodle designs and the plain paper is pink petticoat. The ribbon is SU and the snowflakes are punched with my MS arctic snowflake punch. The adhesive stones and foam letters are PM (the letters were originally white but I coloured them with my promarker to match the image).

Our sponsor this week is Tassilo’s Drachenshop and the lucky winner will receive these fun stamps.

Passion for Promarkers #25 – DT card

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Well it’s Tuesday so that must mean one thing……a new challenge over at passion for promarkers. Our challenge this week has been set by Ida and she has given us a fantastic sketch to work with and of course we can use any colour promarkers we like *yay*.

sketch-ida.jpg WEEK 25 SKETCH image by promarkerchallenge

PFP challenge 25 - Ida's sketch

PFP challenge 25 - Ida's sketch (close up)

For my card I used my new stamp from squiggle stamps called ‘snowflake daisy’ and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Coat, hat, boots and gloves – cool aqua & duck egg

Scarf – cool aqua, ice grey 2 & 3

Headband and tights – ice grey 2 & 3

Hair – tan & caramel

Skin – ivory, blush & pastel pink

Outline – ice grey 1

I added flower soft to the fluffy bits and also to the snowflake.

The paper is from a dovecraft paper pad called winter wonderland that I bought last christmas and the silver card is from my stash. The snowflakes are punched out of bazzill bling card with my MS arctic snowflake punch. The sentiment is PM and I used my circle nesties to cut out my image. I hope you enjoy using the sketch as much as we did.

Our sponsor this week is the secret crafter and one lucky winner will receive £10.00 to spend in their online store.

Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all stunning. I can’t wait to see what you come up with and look forward to visiting your blogs.

Cupcake craft challenge #65 – DT card

** This is my second post for today – please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card **

CCC challenge 65 - snow much fun

CCC challenge 65 - snow much fun (close up)

It’s Monday so that means a new challenge over at cupcake craft challenge.  This week Donna has given us the theme of ‘snow much fun’ and for my card I used an image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Becky at Christmas’.  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added flower soft in polar white to resemble the snow.  Now I know Becky wouldn’t really be standing in the snow with her socks on but for the sake of my card she’s a rebel!!  The gorgeous paper is K & Co (not sure of the name) and the shimmery card is bazzill bling.  I used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge and my MS arctic snowflake punch.  The ‘JOY’ letters are by Amanda Blu and I got them from QVC- aren’t they lush?  A very girly card but I love it :)

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  They have some gorgeous digi images, so even if you don’t win you should check them out :)

Digital Delights Header

The rest of the DT have worked their magic once again and have come up with some gorgeous cards, please go and take a look if you have the time.  I can’t wait to see what you make this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Susie’s sassy challenge #1 – DT card

SSC 1 - christmas card

SSC 1 - christmas card (close up)

Today’s the day for the launch of the brand new challenge blog – susie’s sassy challenge!   The challenges will run every two weeks and to start us off we have an amazing prize for you to win.  To be in with a chance to win you have to make a christmas card (so a nice easy challenge to start you off with!).  I am so honoured to be part of the DT and the rest of the team are such a talented bunch :)

Here is a pic of the prize up for grabs:

For my card I used a digi-image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Milly & presents’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  I used flower soft for the fluffy bits, this is the first time I’ve used it and it looks ok but not as stunning as I thought it would.  I used my kraft card once again from elzybells and the paper was a scrap piece without a name on it.  The decorative edges were cut with my MS zigzag embossed punch and also used my MS arctic snowflake punch.  The sentiment is craftwork cards and I used my SU oval punch to cut the kraft card behind it.  The twine is from tabby crafts.  I hope you have a chance to enter our first challenge and to be in with a chance to win the fantastic prize.  I look forward to seeing what you come up with and visiting your blogs.  Please check out the rest of the DT cards as they are all gorgeous.  Thanks for stopping by today.
