Cupcake craft challenge #130–DT card

Hello again, I’m back as promised with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely fluffy herself Faye has set the theme and she has chosen something very close to her heart “cake and ice-cream”!!  So we want to see all your yummy food images and papers this week.  The DT were lucky enough to be offered images to use from our sponsor so I jumped at the chance.  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 130 - cake & icecream

CCC challenge 130 - cake & icecream (close up)

I have used an image from Bugaboo stamps called ‘cupcake tower’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  I thought I would also use some fruity paper to continue with the food theme!

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps (in case you hadn’t already guessed lol!) and they are offering one lucky winner 7 (yes 7) digis of their choice!!  I am so jealous.

Cupcake craft challenge #129–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Like a bad penny I’m back again lol!  This time it’s to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  The lovely Shelly has set the theme and she has chosen ‘I love you’ so your card must include at least one heart.  Your card obviously doesn’t have to be a valentine’s card just as long as it contains a heart or hearts it will be fine.  Again I was lucky enough to be given a sponsors image and here is my card:

CCC challenge 129 - I love you (add a heart)

CCC challenge 129 - I love you (add a heart) close up

The image is by Lori Boyd Designs and is called ‘puddle jumper birthday Emma’ (the image also includes a present and a happy birthday sentiment which I didn’t use this time).  As usual my photography skills are lacking!  The ric-rac ribbon and the dress are actually a lovely girly pink IRL but they look more salmon pink in my pic and the pearls are a soft pink too not red as they look in the pic grrrr!!!  In case you didn’t notice, my hearts are the MS punched border!

Our sponsor this week is Lori Boyd Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a $10.00 gift certificate to their online store.  You will definitely be spoilt for choice as she has lots of super cute images, just like this one.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prize and our sponsor for February is Crafts U Love and the lucky winner will receive a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online shop.

Passion for promarkers #84 – DT card

Good morning friends, I’m here this morning to share my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week Gro has set the theme and she has chosen “let it shine” so we want to see your glitters, gems etc. and get your cards sparkling!  It was my parents anniversary last week so I used this theme for their card.  I recently bought some 8x8 cards from Crafty Emma’s store and this is the first one I’ve made using this size of card.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 84 - let it shine

PFP challenge 84 - let it shine (close up)

I don’t know what happened to my photograph but the green IRL isn’t such a lime green but I couldn’t get it any better (blame it on the photographer I say lol!).  I have used a digi image from DigiStamp Boutique which is part of the January offer of the month called ‘Pippa & Sonny with rose’.  This is just one of three images in the set and it is available at a brilliant price at the moment.  Sally-Ann has also released more gorgeous images this month so why not pop over and check them out.  As you can see in the close up photo I added stickles to their rose and also to the three flowers in the arrangement.  I never seem to be able to make my flowers look as gorgeous as some of you lovely crafters out there.  I have to say though that my parents loved their card, so that’s all that matters isn’t it?

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and the lucky winner will receive 5 promarkers of their choice.

Right-e-o that’s all from me today.  I’m still recovering after my physiotherapy yesterday (I think torture would be a more apt name) but all in all my back is getting better woohoo!  As they say ‘no pain, no gain’.  I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday.  Btw hello *waves"* to all my new followers, I can’t believe how many I have got in the last week or so – I am so chuffed you have decided to “stalk me” lol!  Thanks for stopping by.

Passion for Promarkers #45 – DT card

PFP challenge 45 - use 2 images

PFP challenge 45 - use 2 images (close up)

PFP challenge 45 - use 2 images (inside)

This week our theme over at passion for promarkers challenge has been chosen by Gina and she would like us to ‘use 2 images on our projects’.  I decided to make a 6x6 gatefold card, after I had seen one on Kellie Winnell’s blog (her friend Lauren had a tutorial on her blog and you can check it out here).  For my card I used two new images from DigiStamp Boutique from the ‘cute japanese characters’ set and the two I have used are ‘Kishi’ and ‘Sachi’.  The set is currently on special offer (for three images) so pop over to DSB to check them out.  I coloured the images with the following promarkers:

Sachi (green image) – pastel green but the colour was too strong so I used the blender to ‘bleach out some of the colour and added pastel blue over the top and blended again.  Marsh green for the flowers.

Kishi (yellow image) – tulip yellow but again it was too bright so blended out the colour and added meadow green over the top and blended a little more.

Skin – ivory, blush and pastel pink

I used cool grey 1 for the outline this time as my ice grey 1 is running out :)

The papers are BG from my new kioshi paper pad and the plain card is bazzill bling (gorgeous but really difficult to photograph due to the shimmer).  I used my new MS border punch for the strips and the sentiment is by pink gem designs, which I cut out with my circle nesties.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I also added some matching paper and another Kishi image to the inside of my card and cut out the largest circle nestie to be able to write my message.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and one lucky winner will receive a 5 pack of promarkers.

Also we have two new team members joining us today Emma and Tracy.  You may remember they were GDT with us in February.  I hope you will pop over and leave them a welcome comment.  Emma and Tracy are also offering a prize to celebrate their arrival on the team – each will choose one winner of a Letraset rubber stamping kit – so another good reason to enter the challenge this week.

I hope you will have a chance to enter our challenge this week and look forward to seeing what you create.

My card also fits in with the following challenges:

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

CCC challenge #82 - going green

CCC challenge #82 - going green (close up)

This week’s theme over at cupcake craft challenge has been chosen by Kathrin and is ‘going green’.  You can interpret that as you wish i.e colour scheme, St. Patrick’s Day cards or even recycling!  Our sponsor this week is stitchy stamps and the DT were able to use some of their images – so I chose this gorgeous image called ‘butterfly fairy’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  The lovely papers are BG from the origins paper pad and the image was cut out with my nesties (labels 3).  The ribbon is dovecraft and the sentiment ticket is from pink gem designs.  The swirl/pearls combo are rub-ons by basic grey and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts.  I used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge.

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is stitchy stamps and one lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice (there are some wonderful images to choose from – you’ll be spoilt for choice!)

PFP challenge 38 - agean, sky blue & cool aqua (close up)

Our theme over at Passion for Promarkers challenge this week is a colour combo. We would like to see your creations using “agean, sky blue and cool aqua”. For my card I used my new pink gem stamp called “ ice skating Mimi” and coloured her with the following promarkers:

Coat – sky blue and agean

Hat, gloves, scarf and skates – agean

Tights – cool aqua

Hair – tan and caramel

Skin – ivory, blush and pastel pink

The papers are dovecraft from the winter wonderland 6x6 paper pack and the plain card is from the papermill shop. I also used dovecraft ribbon and snowflake punch! The sentiment was made using the elzybells "everyday greetings’ stamp set and the adhesive pearls are from my stash. Don’t forget you still have until 9am on Tuesday 16th Feb to enter the PFP challenge. Please check out the rest of the DT cards, as they are all stunning. Sketch Conny

SWF #34 - sketch

SWF #34 - sketch (close up 1)

SWF #34 - sketch (close up 2)

This week over at stamp with fun challenge we have a lovely sketch by Conny to follow. For my card I used my new stamp by pink gem designs called ‘baby’s first christmas’. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used flower soft for the fluffy bits! I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. The patterned papers are by doooodle designs and the plain paper is pink petticoat. The ribbon is SU and the snowflakes are punched with my MS arctic snowflake punch. The adhesive stones and foam letters are PM (the letters were originally white but I coloured them with my promarker to match the image).

Our sponsor this week is Tassilo’s Drachenshop and the lucky winner will receive these fun stamps.
