Colour create challenge #35/Pile it on challenge #29/ABC challenge

Hello and welcome to a snowy and icy South Wales.  Our street is completely “off limits” yet again as no gritters have been through.  I’m back to getting the bus to work again today, although I did take an annual leave day yesterday and stayed tucked up nice and warm at home!  The kids went back to school for half a day on Tuesday but have been off since (unfortunately they are praying for more snow lol)! 

My card today is for the colour create challenge which is ‘lemon and lime’, pile it on challenge #29 which is ‘anything digital’ and the ABC challenge which is ‘L for layering’.  I used a cute digi image by soft pencil called ‘I’ll keep you safe Michu’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  The gingham paper is from my stash, the dotty paper is a magazine freebie and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  The sentiment was created on the pc and the adhesive pearls are kanban.  The ribbon and flower charm are from my stash.  I created the decorative edge with my MS simple scallop punch. 

I know many of you have had an excessive amount of snow, it all looks so pretty until you have to go out and about in it!  Unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to clear as quickly as it came.  I hope you are all keeping safe and warm wherever you are.  Thanks for stopping by. 

ASFOS #60 & Colour Create #23

Hello and welcome to the weekend!  This is my card for 2 challenges – a spoonfull of sugar challenge is a sketch this week and the colour create challenge is blue and white with the optional extra of vintage.  I stamped the SN image ‘demure’ and coloured her with my promarkers.  The gorgeous dp is all BG from the marrakech paper pad.  The flower heads are from Joanna Sheen and the blue flowers are from my stash.  The adhesive stones are PM and the sentiment was created on the pc.  I know this isn’t totally vintage but I think the image lends itself to a vintage feel (I think so anyway lol!).  Thanks for stopping by today, hope the weather has improved where you are (it’s dry here at the moment). 

Colour Create #15/ASFOS #51

This is my entry for this week's colour create challenge, which is 'blue and green' (with the optional extra of paper piecing - which I forgot lol) and a spoonfull of sugar which is 'buttons galore'. The image is high hopes 'Anthony James' (available from Dies to Die For) and I coloured him with my promarkers. The dp is BG from the archaic paper pad and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment is a rub-on by pebbles inc and the buttons are from my stash. I used this week's stamptacular sketch but to be entered you can't combine it with any other challenge d'oh! Colour Create #14

This is my card for this week's colour create challenge, which is 'red, cream and chocolate'. I made this for a lady at work for her mother to give to her doctor who is changing jobs. I stamped the sugar nellie image 'fizz' and coloured it with my trusty promarkers. The dp is all SU (the cream and red papers are from the new washington apple range but not too sure about the chocolate paper). The sentiments were created on the pc and the adhesive stones are PM. Stamps & Smiles sketch #10/Colour Create #11

This was another card ordered by a friend at work. I decided to use the lovely sketch over at SAS this week and the colour combo on colour create challenge which was 'coffee, chocolate and cream'. I stamped the greeting farm 'miss anya' image and coloured her with pro-markers. The gorgeous dp is all SU (not sure of the names as I got it from Jules as part of a paper share). The sentiment was created on the pc and the flowers and brad are from my stash. Now I'm not at all big-headed (cos I always think everyone else's cards are better than mine lol) but I love this card, I think it's the colour combo, definitely one I will try again. Colour create #10

This card was an order for a friend at work and I used the colours from this week's colour create challenge, which were 'duck egg blue and rose'. I used the PB image 'roses on the run' and coloured it with my pro-markers, adding highlights with a sakura stardust pen. The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the dp is PM from the simply elegant paper pad. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment was created on the pc. The pearls are kanban and the button is from my local haberdashery shop. I used a fine liner pen to doodle a faux stitched border (which I now notice is a tad crocked at the top lol!) around the image and sentiment. Thanks for stopping by.

Colour Create #9

This is my entry for this week's Colour Create, which is 'lilac and blue'. I made this card for my children to give to their gran for her birthday today (they call her mam!). Now I did read the optional extras for this week's challenge (ribbons and swirls) but when I made the card I completely forgot all about them, never mind I really like the finished card. I used another miss anya stamp by the greeting farm (available from dies to die for) and coloured her with my pro-markers. The dp has been in my stash for ages (and it didn't have a makers name on it). The plain cs is from the papermill shop and the sentiment was created on the pc. I cut the scalloped edge on the cs with a pair of fiskars decorative scissors. The flowers and brads are from my stash and the white dots were done with a white gel pen. Thanks for stopping by.

Colour create #6

This is my entry for this week's colour create challenge, which is orange, yellow and green with an optional extra of your entry not being a card. I decided to decorate a plain gift bag that I got from crafts u love. I used dp by imagination project and doodlebug. The image is stamping bella (daisybella) which I coloured with my pro-markers. I punched two small holes at the top of the bag and threaded through orange ribbon from my stash. I used fiskars decorative scissors to cut the scalloped edge. I'm sorry the photo doesn't really show off the bag to its best but I couldn't find anything to put inside it at the time :( Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Sketch saturday #41

I was asked by my mother to make a birthday card for her friend so decided to use the lovely sketch on sketch saturday this week. I stamped the stamping bella 'daisybella' image and coloured her with my pro-markers, adding highlights with a sakura stardust pen. The green dp is by doodlebug and the flowery dp is by imagination project. The orange cs is from the papermill shop and the sentiment was created on the pc. The buttons and flowers are from my stash and the bow is from ideal world (so long ago). The adhesive stones are PM. SCSC #18/Colour Create #2

This is my card for the secret crafter challenge, which is 'recycling' and the colour create challenge, which is 'peach & aqua'. I recently rescued some aqua tissue paper that a friend was actually going to throw away (shock horror) so I decided to use that on my card. I cut a piece for the background and added peach dp (from a paper pack from QVC). I punched 8 flowers from the tissue paper and doubled them up to make 4 flowers. I added white buttons by dress it up to the centres and added stickles to the buttons. The sentiment is WOJ which I stamped on a punched out circle and then cut in half. The ribbon is from my stash. This is so not my usual type of card and I'm not sure about it. Thanks for looking.
