Stamp with fun #125–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend – mine was great – it just went too fast lol!  My bathroom is coming along slowly, although I have a new toilet and vanity unit *woohoo* – I think it will be a few more weeks yet though until it’s completely finished – I can’t wait!

Onto my card and as it’s Monday it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge and this week our theme is “summer”.  I don’t think our summer is going to last much longer as the nights are beginning to “draw in” and there is a definite chill in the air, so let’s make the most of it and make a bright and cheerful summer themed card.  Here is my card:

SWF #125 - summer

SWF #125 - summer (close up)

I have used a gorgeous image from sugar nellie stamps called “cherry pip” and coloured her with my promarkers.  The papers are DCWV from the ‘sorbet’ paper pad and the cardstock is from the papermill shop.  I think the colours are really fresh and definitely summery.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Corrosive challenge – girlie

Whoopsi daisy challenge – summer fun

Divas by design challenge – birthdays

My mum’s craft shop challenge – summer images or colours

Stamp with fun #121–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  Why does the weekend have to go so fast, I can’t believe it’s Monday morning already!!  Although it does mean a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge.  This week we have a lovely theme for you of “friends” so you can make whatever you like as long as it’s for your friend!  Here is my card:

SWF #121 - friends

SWF #121 - friends (close up)

I have used two super sweet images from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Molly Spencer’ and ‘Mum Spencer’ from the ‘Spencer Family’ collection, although I made mum the same size as Molly so that they looked like best friends.  The paper, which is by doodlebug is really old and has been in my stash for ages, but I think it’s really bright and summery.  The “friends” sentiment is actually a sticker, which has been in my stash for many years, and again it’s by doodlebug.

The rest of the design team have created amazing cards as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Passion for promarker #108–DT card

Happy Tuesday dear friends.  I want to say a big thank you for all your good wishes for my dad both here on my blog and on facebook.  I am so lucky to have such amazing friends and it’s fantastic to know that you are all thinking of us.  My dad is ok, but is still in hospital but at least he is getting all the tests and care he needs.  I will keep you updated once we’ve had the results.

It’s time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge.  This week the lovely Lisa has set the theme and she has chosen “gingham”, which as you know is one of my favourites, so I was over the moon when I saw this challenge.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 108 - gingham

PFP challenge 108 - gingham (close up)

I have used a sweet image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘birthday Tallulah’ and she is available here and there are two other equally cute Tallulah images in the shop.  The paper is wild rose studio and the cute flower is SU.

Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and the lucky winner will receive 6 digi images of their choice.
