Passion for promarkers #96–DT card

Happy Good Friday everyone.  I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.  I’ve got nothing planned but it is soooo nice to have a long weekend off from work lol!  Oh my goodness I thought I was going to be so organised this week with my posts but here we are again with my DT card for the passion for promarkers challenge 3 days late!!  I don’t know what happened but it’s better late than never I suppose haha!  This week’s theme has been set by Nic and she has chosen “white on white”, which I really like the look of, but it’s something that I always seem to struggle with!  Here is my card:

I’m sorry that the photos are so naff but I must have taken about 15 photos and these were the best, they were either too dark or way too light – as it’s so white it is really difficult to capture properly.  I hope you can use your imagination as the card is much nicer IRL honest!  It’s difficult to tell in the photos but apart from distressing all the edges I also stickled them to within an inch of their lives, so it is really sparkly (shame you can’t see it!).  I have used a super fun image from Bugaboo stamps, that I recently won in one of their challenges and the sentiment also comes with the image.  I went with a cool blue colour scheme as I thought it would be a nice and crisp contrast to all the white.

Stamp with fun #95 – DT card

Good morning everyone, I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge.  This week’s theme is “blue & brown” which in my mind automatically means a male card to me.  As luck would have it I needed a card for my brother-in-law so I decided to combine the two!  I used a cute image from Pollycraft called ‘Maurice – ready for business’ and obviously coloured him with my promarkers.  Here is my card:

Now Maurice doesn’t look anything like my B-I-L but I just thought he was a really cute image and perfect for those difficult men cards!  For once I’m actually quite happy with my colouring on this card (which makes a change lol!).

CCC #47 – DT card

Firstly onto the good news.  The Cupcake Craft Challenge blog was going to be running its last challenge this week as Lauren was finding it difficult to manage the blog as well as fit in her ‘real life’ stuff (which we all completely understand) but luckily at the last moment Donna, one of my DT colleagues has decided to step up and take over the running of the blog from now on *yay*.  So you will be seeing a lot more DT cards from me!  Onto this week’s challenge which is ‘black and white’ and was set by the lovely Lisa.  I decided to use a digi image from Pollycraft called ‘cherry kisses - attitude’ and I coloured her with my promarkers.  The black glittery dp is by DCWV and the white flowery dp is by doodlebug.  The plain cs is from the papermill shop.  The flowers are by queen & co and the brad is from my stash.  The adhesive stones are PM and the decorative scalloped edge was cut with my fiskars threading water punch.  I hope you will go and check out the rest of the DT cards as they are stunning as usual (links in the sidebar to their blogs).  I can’t wait to see all your black and white creations.  Thanks for stopping by today.
