Just Us Girls challenge #825 - Stencil Week

Hello again friends!  I'm back to share my DT card for the Just Us Girls challenge and this week it's 'ATG Stencil Week'.  As long as you use a stencil you can create anything you like so I'm sure there will be lots of entries.
I recently bought a pretty layering stencil by Nellie Snellen from a destash group on FaceBook so decided to show it some love instead of putting it away and forgetting about it lol!  I used the carnation trio of inks as there were 3 layers to the stencil and I love this trio so much.  I added a few die cuts and voila my card was done.  I hope you like it.
Here is my card:
A closer look at the details:
Plus I decorated the inside:
I began by cutting a white panel 4" x 5 1/4" and used the stencil and carnation inks to create my pretty background.  I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the panel down slightly.  I die cut 2 ovals; one from white card and one from vellum and adhered them together with liquid glue.  I die cut some flowers from white card and using the same ink pads added some colour to the centres.  I also die cut the separate flower centres and added a darker ink to them before adhering them to the flowers with liquid glue.  I die cut some leaves from vellum as I didn't want any other colour on my card today.  Before adding the ovals to the card panel I arranged the flowers in the lower part with foam squares and the leaves were added with liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiment using the darkest carnation ink pad and added a few clear sequins with liquid glue.  The oval panel was then adhered with double sided tape.  I added some scrap white card behind the background and adhered it to the card base with double sided tape.  For the inside I cut another stitched rectangle from white card and added a tiny strip of the background across the bottom with liquid glue.  I had some flowers left over so added them to the bottom right corner with liquid glu.  I stamped the sentiment in the dark carnation ink in the centre of the panel and this was then adhered to the card base with double sided tape.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create challenge - ATG optional twist May flowers
Allsorts challenge - ATG (happy 17th birthday Allsorts!)
As You Like It challenge - favourite season (my favourite season is Spring as it's warm but not hot and all the flowers and plants are starting to come to life)

Classic Design challenge - ATG optional twist anniversary or birthday
Crafty Gals Corner challenge - ATG optional flowers for mom
Do-All Creative challenge - ATG optional flowers as an eye catcher

Cupcake craft challenge #132–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again, I told you I’d be back, and I’m not one to break a promise lol!  I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s challenge has been set by our competition winner Em and she has chosen a lovely theme of ‘pink polka dots’ – how fantastic is that theme?  I had to make a card for a friend in work so set to work to combine the two.  Here is my card which is A5 in size for a change:

CCC challenge 132 - pink polka dots

CCC challenge 132 - pink polka dots (close up)

I have used a super fun image from Sassy Studio Designs called ‘sassy Cassie’ and I have used a stamping up 12x12 paper pack called ‘sweet pea’ that I forgot I had (but I think it’s now retired)!!  I used last week’s Friday sketcher’s sketch as I really loved it but didn’t have time to use it last week.  I will definitely be using it again as it is really effective I think.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

SimonSaysStampBlinkie1

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prize and for March our sponsor is Wild Rose Studio and they are offering two super cute stamps to one lucky winner.

Cupcake craft challenge #127–DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MY STAMP WITH FUN DT CARD

Hello again everyone, I’m back again as promised (you can’t get rid of me that easily lol).  I have another DT card to show you, this time for the cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Faye (aka fluffy) has set the theme and she has chosen “old macdonald had a farm” so we want to see something on your card/project that you would find on a farm.  I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a brilliant theme!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 127 - old macdonald

CCC challenge 127 - old macdonald (close up)

I have used a gorgeous freebie digi image from Pronty which I received just for signing up for their newsletter.  I thought this little shepherdess image minding her cutie sheep was very apt for our challenge this week.  The pink colour of her dress isn’t quite so vivid IRL but again my photography skills have let me down – definitely need to look for a class I think lol!

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and the lucky winner will receive a sentiment and ribbon bundle.

Charisma cardz #2 – DT card!

Hi everyone, I’m sorry I meant to post this yesterday but time just got away from me.  I’m here to share my DT card for this week’s charisma cardz challenge and I will also be announcing the lucky winner of my mini-candy at the end of the post.  This week’s theme over at charisma is “good luck” so as long as it’s got good luck in the wording somewhere you will be fine!  Again as I couldn’t make a new card I submitted an older card that I found in my archives that I had never blogged before.  Here is my card:

charisma cardz #2 - good luck

charisma cardz #2 - good luck (close up)

The image is a sugar nellie stamp by Leanne Ellis called “fizz”.  I really should dig out all my older SN stamps as I have quite a few and I rarely use them, which is sad!

We have two sponsors this week, firstly we have Tellen’s Place and they are offering a $10.00 voucher to spend in their etsy shop.

Tellen's Place logo

Our second sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and they are offering 5 digis of the winner’s choice.

Passion for promarkers #77 – DT card

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good week so far.  I am back today to share with you my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week’s theme has been set Julie and she has chosen ‘colours of old photographs’ i.e. sepia or black & white colour scheme.  I decided to go with the black & white theme.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 77 - colours of old photographs

I’m not too sure about the skin being grey also, but I think it does tone in with everything else.  Overall I’m happy with my shading and the image is so gorgeous I think it would look good whatever the colouring was like!

Our sponsor this week is Secret Crafter and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I also decided to make a sweet little gift box after seeing the fantastic tutorial on the Whiff of Joy tutorial blog. Here are my projects:
