Just Us Girls challenge #842 - Stencil Week

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. I am back to share my card for this week's Just Us Girls challenge and it's Stencil Week and Sue has given us the simple theme of 'anything goes'. We all love our stencils don't we so I'm sure this is going to be a really popular week. I cannot wait to see all your gorgeous creations.

I used a new-to-me floral layering stencil that I picked up on a craft destash page on Facebook.  I went with an autumnal colour scheme and I love how it turned out.  I hope you like it too.

Plus I decorated the inside:

I began by cutting a white panel 4" x 5 1/4" and using the 5 layers of the stencil set created my autumnal floral scene.  I used brown on the detail layer as I felt black would have been too stark.  I used a dotted rectangle die to cut the panel and give it a pretty decorative edge and also cut a mat layer from brown card, adhering them together with liquid glue.  I die cut the 'you' word 4 times from brown card and layered them up using liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel using brown ink and then added the 'you' word below it using liquid glue.  I finished off with some gold sequins.  I added the panel onto my card base using double sided tape.  For the inside I cut a white panel and added some stencilled detail to the bottom using the same inks.  I cut a brown mat layer and adhered them together using liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiment in the centre using brown ink and then added the panel onto my card base using double sided tape.
