Multi-challenge card

Hello and welcome to a very white and snowy South Wales.  This is a picture I took last night before I went to bed of my street (and it was still snowing then).  My poor fiesta was starting to disappear!!  On the upside I couldn’t get to work today so managed a bit of crafting (but not as much as I would have liked as hubby and kids were home too lol!).

12.01.10 (3)

My card today is for a couple of challenges

The Pink Elephant challenge – birthday

Pollycraft Challenge – Winter birthdays

One Stop Craft Challenge – A night at the movies (I’ve gone for Bambi)

b'day card (29)

b'day card (29) close up

I used a gorgeous Sugar Nellie image from the autumn kit and coloured it with my promarkers.  The papers are cosmo cricket from the honey pie range and the plain card is SU.  The decorative edge was cut with my MS doily lace punch and the flowers were cut with my small ek success retro flower punch.  The sentiment is SU from the ‘wow flowers’ stamp set and I used my SU oval punches to cut it out.  The ribbon is dovecraft and the adhesive pearls are from my stash.

I hope you are keeping safe and warm and take care if you’re out and about.  I’ll probably be catching the bus to work tomorrow again (groan).  Please call back tomorrow to see my DT card for the new Susie’s Sassy Challenge.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Hi Denise, looks as if you have had as much snow as we have here in Birmingham! I wasn't due to go to work today so was able to stay home and make a couple of cards. Love your sweet little girl, gorgeous colouring and such a cute image, Jo x

Brrrr... but hooray for Snow Days!
I saw on the news you had a big snow cloud over you but so far we've managed to miss the most of it here!
Great cards BTW!

Such a lovely card - I love the way you have a slight shadow around your sweet image. And the papers are gorgeous too.
We have been walking to school and work here this week - school was closed for 3 days last week, and closed at lunch time yesterday, but back to normal again today. The snow is starting to melt now, and I did manage to take the car out today for the first time in a week and a half!
Love, Andrea xx
