Passion for Promarkers #140–DT card

Hello again dear friends.  I’m sorry I’m behind the times with my posts again this week, there just don’t seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment.  Anyway enough waffling from me and let’s get on with showing you my card.  The challenge this week over at passion for promarkers challenge has been set by Gro and she has chosen “yellow and pearls” and here is my card:

I have used a brand new and gorgeous image from DigiStamp Boutique from the “Rosie collection 1” which is one of the offers of the month for March and the set contains 3 super cute images for the amazing prize of just £2.25!!  I coloured the image with promarkers and the papers are from the dovecraft ‘back to basics’ paper pack.  The kraft card is from dies to die for and the pearls are from the hobby house.  I kept the layout really simple as I wanted the image to stand out and I have to say I really love this card!

Hello again friends, I’m back as promised to share my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Louise has set the theme and she has chosen “going dotty”, so a nice simple theme for you.  As long as we can see some dots you’re fine lol!  Here is my card:

The DT were fortunate to be given an image from our sponsor this week and I have used “Murray” from Saturated Canary and coloured her with a mixture of promarkers and flex markers.   I’m sorry the pics are so dark but this was the best I could get as I took them in the wee early hours!!  I used papers from two different pads – the text paper is from echo park ‘victoria gardens’ paper pad and the dotty paper is my mind’s eye ‘dwell’ paper pad.  I also added some buttons which I thought looked like ‘dots’ of colour.

Stamp with Fun #152–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a great weekend, the weather here was really pleasant and I even dried some washing on the line (sad I know to be excited about that lol!)  I cannot believe that my week off work went so fast and I’m back in work again today – I really need to win the lottery I think haha!

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s Stamp with Fun challenge and this week we have a lovely sketch to use designed by Andrea-Emmi41.  It has nice clean lines and layers which is my favourite type of sketch.  Here is my card:

I rotated the sketch as it worked better with my image that way.  I was asked by a friend at work to make a baby congrats card for a grandmother so I used a super cute image by Mo Manning called ‘baby and bunny’ and coloured it with promarkers and flex markers.  The papers are from the docrafts forever friends ‘new arrival’ designstax and the kraft card is from dies to die for.

As the title says you know I’m not in work because I’m actually posting cards lol!  I wanted to share a card I actually made when I was GDT over at the Sweet Stampin’ challenge but didn’t get around to posting at the time!  I made a circle card for a change and used a gorgeous image from Saturated Canary called “Whispy”.  Here is my card:

Isn’t this image just adorable.  I coloured her with promarkers and flex markers and cut her out.  The pretty dotty paper has been in my stash for years – I think it was in a super duper 12x12 pad that I got from QVC when I first started crafting!!  To make the card base I used a extra large scallop circle die from go-kreate.  The doily is from Joanna Sheen and the stunning gingham ribbon is from fantastic ribbons.

Charisma cardz #8–DT card

Hello again dear friends.  I’m back with a very late DT card for charisma cardz challenge (I should have posted it last Thursday – what am I like – I’m getting worse I think lol!).  The theme is “masking” and if you’re not sure how to achieve this technique here is a link to a simple tutorial by Beate Johns on SCS, although if I can do it I think most people can haha!.   I decided to use two older stamps from sugar nellie from the gorjuss girls range, which are still firm favourites of mine.  Here is my card:

The images I used are ‘just a girl’ and ‘sitting’ and I coloured them with promarkers and flex markers,  The gorgeous papers are first edition from the ‘hideaway’ paper pad and I coloured the doily with a cats eye chalk ink pad to match my papers.  I added a memory box flourish and some lollipop flowers and I was done.  I really like the sunshine-y feel to this card, especially as they are not colours I would normally use.

PFP #139/stamp with fun #151

Good morning dear friends.  I’m sorry for the long absence between posts, I wasn’t feeling 100% last week and had a really bad headache all week.  Fortunately I’m feeling better this week (so far) but that could have something to do with the fact that I have a week off work *woohoo*. 

However I’m still dis-organised and have had to combine two of my DT cards – stamp with fun challenge this week is “pink & green” and the new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge (which I have chosen) is “for mum/female relative”.  I thought I would give you a head start in making your mother’s day cards as it’s only 12 days away!!  However I’m also aware that some of you sadly don’t have a mother to celebrate with so will accept cards for any female relative.  Here is my card:

 

I did have every intention of making a mother’s day card but when my auntie asked me to make her a 2nd birthday card for her great grand-daughter I used this card instead as time was against me (as usual)!  The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and is from the ‘Fairy Hattie collection’.  I coloured her with promarkers and added stickles to her wings.  The papers are do crafts from the gorgeous forever friends ‘new arrival’ designstax and the plain card is SU pink pirouette.  I used a Marianne die for the rolled roses and a die-namics die for the number 2.
