Hello again friends. I'm back with my card for the new challenge over at Krafty Chicks challenge and this week is Week 1, our theme is 'birthday' and our hostess is Leanne. We always need birthday cards, gift packaging and decorations so I'm sure you will find this week a breeze! We hope you will come over and join in the fun with us.

I grabbed some Uniko supplies for this week's card and made a fairly simple card. A bit of stamping and die cutting and voila my card was done. I think it's really pretty and I hope you like it too.
Here is my card:
A closer look at the details:
Plus I decorated the inside:
I began by cutting a white panel 4" x 5 1/4". Initially I was going to stamp directly onto this panel using a light grey ink but changed my mind and cut a smaller panel of kraft card and did some tone on tone stamping using versamark ink instead. I liked the look of the white border so I adhered the kraft panel to the white panel using liquid glue. I stamped the flowers in pink, blue and yellow and the leaves in green and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added the leaves onto the background using liquid glue and added the flowers with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment onto some kraft card using black ink and used my trimmer to cut it down. I adhered the sentiment below the flowers using foam squares. I finished off with a few black pearls before adding the panel onto my card base using double sided tape. For the inside I cut another white panel and using a strip of the kraft card I stamped the flower background as before. I adhered the strip to the bottom of the panel using liquid glue. I stamped and die cut another flower and leaf and added that in the bottom right corner using liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment in the centre and added the panel onto my card base using double sided tape.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
