Here is my card:
A closer look at the details:
Plus I decorated the inside:
I began by cutting a white panel 4" x 5 1/4". I decided not to use the layering stencil as a complete background and created a 'wreath' instead. I used some masking paper and masked off a large flower and a small flower. I started with the larger flower and two shades of purple ink and stencilled them positioned like a clock face (12, 3, 6 and 9), I then did the smaller flowers using purple and pink inks in between the larger flowers. I took the leaf layer and filled in any gaps between the flowers. There is also a layer that does lots of tiny dots between the flowers if you're making a background, so I decided to use this layer and add a bit more detail to the flower centres using a shade darker ink than what I had used on the first layer. I trimmed the panel down slightly to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and stamped my sentiment in the centre with black ink. I added some scrap white card behind my panel and adhered it to the card base with double sided tape. For a finishing touch I added some tiny black pearls to draw in a bit more black. For the inside I cut a white panel 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and stencilled some flowers and leaves in the bottom right corner. I stamped the sentiment in the centre and then adhered the panel to the card base with double sided tape.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
