Hello again, I’m back to share with you my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. Firstly I would like to say a big welcome to Faye as this is her first official week in charge of us at cupcake and also a big thank you to Donna for working so hard to make the challenge blog such a success. This week’s theme has been chosen by the super talented Kathrin and she would like to see some distressing on your creations. Now you know it’s not my most favourite thing to do but I seem to have done it quite a lot recently! Anyway here is my card, which was an order for a friend in work:
I attempted to make my own roses, after seeing a few tutorials around blogland and I’m quite pleased with my first go at it. I will definitely be trying these again. I distressed all the edges of my card and paper with a small pair of scissors.
We are sponsored this week by Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher plus free shipping – I’m very jealous lol!
Also starting this week we have a monthly sponsor for August – Crafts U Love - and if you enter two challenges or more throughout the month your name will go into the draw to win 3 CC Designs Stamps – how cool is that! Check out the challenge blog for more details!
The rest of the design team have created some amazing cards as usual so please pop over and check them out. We love reading all your comments and our challenge blog wouldn’t be the success it is without you.
I am also entering my card into the following challenges:
Corrosive challenge – all about babies
Craftalicious challenge – handmade flowers
Simon says stamp challenge – going dotty (my papers)
The treehouse challenge – seeing spots (my papers)
Allsorts challenge – dressing up (my dress can be used for dressing up)
Challenge up your life challenge – celebrations
One stop craft challenge – patterns (my papers)
Totally gorjuss challenge – baby
OSAAT challenge – sketch and/or a little pink (my card fits the pink theme)
Rosie D’s challenge – all creatures great and small (not sure if my teddy bear will count)

Right that’s me done for today. I hope you can join in with our challenge this week. I can’t wait to see what you create and look forward to visiting your blogs. I’ll be back tomorrow with my DT card for PFP. Thanks for stopping by.
