Cupcake craft challenge #152–DT card

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again everyone, I’m back with my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Shelly has set the theme and she has chosen “how old?” so she would like see cards for special birthdays i.e. 18, 21, 30, 40 etc. (but you must include a number on your project).  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 153 - how old

CCC challenge 153 - how old (close up)

This card was made for an order and the instructions were that her boyfriend liked playing on his x-box, so I immediately thought of this fab image called ‘video boy’ from Mo’s Digital Pencil and I coloured him with my promarkers.  The papers are SU from the ‘sweet pea designer paper stack’.  I didn’t add that many embellishments, just a few die cut/punched stars and a star brad as the papers were quite busy.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $20.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Don’t forget we have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ monthly sponsor too and for August we have 3 as it is our birthday month.  Firstly we have Crafts U Love who are offering a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store, secondly we have Mo’s Digital Pencil who are offering a $10.00 gift code to use in their online store and thirdly we have Sew Sweet who are offering a £10.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.  So definitely lots of yummy reasons to play along this month.

We also have a new cupcake joining us this week – Maarit – and as a special welcome we are offering YOU candy.   All you have to do is visit Maarit’s blog and leave her a comment and we will choose one random commenter who will win a gorgeous stamp from Rainbow Studio’s.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

As I mentioned earlier I won’t have internet coverage whilst I’m away so I’m not able to link my cards to any challenges – I’ll see what’s around when I get back on Friday.

I’m having a busy DT day today as the monthly Bee Crafty challenge is launching today too so please check back later to see my card.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
