Hello again, I’m back to share my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  Our theme this week has been chosen by Liza and she would like to you to use buttons on your projects.

Stamp with fun #58 – DT card

Morning everyone!  There is a new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge this week and we have a wonderful sketch by Andrea/Emmi41 to work with.

This is what I came up with:

It was my son’s 16th birthday on Saturday and this was the card I made for his brother to give to him.  He thought it was very funny!  We had a lovely day out as a family.  We went to the cinema to see Iron Man 2, which was good but not as good as the first one and we went for lunch to pizza hut, which was delicious :) 

My father is still in hospital.  His knee replacement went well and he was recovering from the operation when they found a blood clot in his lung!  He is now on treatment for that but to top it all off he has now got a problem with his prostate :)  Hopefully he can come home tomorrow (before they find anything else wrong with him) and just have a follow up as an out-patient.  I will be glad to have him home as visiting every night is so time consuming and the night is gone before you know it!!

My baby is 16!!

Just a quick post as I’m going to be out all day today.  It is my son’s 16th Birthday today and I wanted to pop on and send him loving birthday wishes.  Have a wonderful day Shane!  I can’t believe my baby is 16 – where does the time go?  I’m sorry for the rubbish picture (which I have pinched from his Facebook page) but when the computer crashed last year I lost all my photos and I haven’t got any new ones on my computer yet! 

We’re off to the cinema today and maybe a pizza, depending on what the birthday boy wants to do!

Edited to add – I just want to say a big thank you for all your messages regarding the drummer image – I’ve been given lots of places to look and offers of images so thank you very much.  I will of course share my card with you next week.  Crafters are definitely the nicest people :)  Hugs, Denise x

I need your help – my son is 16 on Saturday and he is a very keen drummer.  Does anyone know of a “funky” drummer digi image that I can get hold of to make his card?  Yes I know I’ve left it last minute – but it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t lol!. 

If you know of anything can you either leave me a comment or alternatively email me?

Passion for promarkers #50 – DT card

Well another bank holiday has flown by and it’s back to work again *boo*.  I can’t believe where the weeks are going!! 

We have a brand new challenge for you over at passion for promarkers challenge this week.  Our theme has been chosen by Sarah and it is ‘gratitude’. 

For my card I used an older DigiStamp Boutique image called ‘Liddie’ (she is part of the Lil poppets set) and she is currently on special offer at just 89p – bargain!!  Pop over to the DSB shop for more super cute images at amazing prizes.  I coloured the image with the following promarkers:

Oh dear the bank holiday has got me all confused and I forgot to schedule this post and my cupcake craft challenge post (it must be my age lol).  So apologies for the delay in posting my DT cards today.
