** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **
Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card
Hello again dear friends. I hope you’re all having a good day, although the weather is typical for a bank holiday Monday isn’t it? It is absolutely chucking it down here – nice weather for ducks lol!
I’m back to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge and the lovely Jane has set the theme and she has chosen “spring is in the air” (just don’t look out the window when you imagine this theme haha!) It is my auntie’s birthday today so I used this challenge to make her card – Happy Birthday Auntie Celia! Here is my card:
I used a super cute digi image from cc designs called ‘Rosalie with roses’ and I coloured her with promarkers. The papers are again a mix – the striped paper is SU from the subtles pattern paper designer stack and the flowery paper is basic grey from the ‘hello luscious’ paper pad. To add to the spring feel I added some flowers and butterflies.
We have two sponsors this week – firstly we have My Creative Classroom who are offering one seat on any Creative Classroom Course in the next year.
Our second sponsor is Paper Pretties and they are offering one lucky winner 6 images of their choice.
The rest of the design team have created amazing cards as always so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us each week.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Fairy fun challenge – anything goes
Fairy tale challenge – everything goes
Raise the bar challenge – cutesy Easter/spring cards
A gem of a challenge – aquamarine inspiration photo
Stamp, scrap and doodle challenge – things with wings (punched butterflies)
Bunny Zoe’s challenge – ribbon or twine
Bizzy Becs creatalicious challenge – sketch
Little Claire’s challenge – spring/Easter
Addicted to stamps challenge – spring/Easter
It’s not part of the challenge but I also decorated a brown sack to match my card (as very last minute I realised I didn’t have a gift bag for my auntie’s gift. It’s very simple but it looks pretty next to the card:
I would like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:
Paper sundaes challenge – sundae bar (my 2 items are kraft and die-cuts)
The squirrel and the fox challenge – things with wings
Lexi’s creations challenge – focus on the sentiment
Stamps and fun = creativity challenge – butterflies
Crafty catz challenge – CAS
Catch the bug challenge – anything goe
Drunken stampers challenge – you’re a krafty one (my gift bag is kraft)
Stamp, scrap and doodle challenge – things with wings
I hope you can join in with our challenge this week and I cannot wait to see what you create. Enjoy the remainder of your bank holiday, if you’re lucky enough to have one, unfortunately it’s back to work tomorrow, but at least it’s a short week!! Thanks for stopping by today.
