2024 Crafty Kickoff IG Card Hop - Week 4

Hello lovely friends and happy Wednesday to you all.  I hope your week has been really good so far.  I'm sharing my card for this week's 2024 Crafty Kickoff IG card hop, which has been organised by my lovely friend Kelly.  Each week we will share a themed card to inspire you and this week we have a great theme of 'stencil it'.

Now we all love our stencils don't we and I'm sure, like me, you have an abundance to choose from so I know this is going to be a fun week.  Here is my card:
and a close up look:
of course I decorated the inside:
I decided to go clean and simple again this week and used one of my favourite stencils, which definitely doesn't get enough love.  I began by cutting a panel 4" x 5 1/4" (but did cut it down smaller later) and placed the stencil in the middle.  I choose some bright colours as it's so dreary here at the moment and blended them in a diagonal pattern.  These colours really do make me happy, and I should use them more.  I stamped the butterfly over top of my stencilling with black ink and finished off with a small sentiment, stamped more to the right, again in black ink.  This is where I decided to make my panel smaller as I didn't want a mat layer but did want some interest.  I took a dotted edge die and die cut my panel and then trimmed it.  I placed a piece of black card behind to show through the dots.  The panel was added to my card base with foam tape.  No embellishments on this one as I liked it as it was.  For the inside I did another panel the same way, stamped a sentiment in black ink in the centre, and then used the stencil just in the bottom right corner using the same inks; simple but effective I think.  The panel was added with double sided tape.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps & More challenge - make your mark (stamped my butterfly)
Aud Sentiments challenge - use dies and/or love (I used a frame die)
Dream Valley challenge - add a sentiment
Scrapping4Fun challenge - ATG (4th and final entry)
Stamping Sensations challenge - animals, birds or creatures (my butterfly)
Stencil Fun challenge - ATG with a stencil option love/hearts
Tic Tac Toe challenge - stencil, die cut, frame (my die cut is my frame so delete if not appropriate)
Triple B challenge - must include a bird, butterfly or bloom

I would love it if you would pop over to Instagram and see the amazing work by all the other crafters taking part in the hop.  Please use the hashtag #2024CraftyKickoffcards to find the hop and also so that we can find your creation if you are inspired to take part.

I'll be back again with you tomorrow with a couple of cards so please pop by and check them out.  As always I appreciate the comments you leave and thank you so much for stopping by.

Love and hugs,
