Good morning dear friends. I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend – mine was great – it just went too fast lol! My bathroom is coming along slowly, although I have a new toilet and vanity unit *woohoo* – I think it will be a few more weeks yet though until it’s completely finished – I can’t wait!
Onto my card and as it’s Monday it’s time for a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge and this week our theme is “summer”. I don’t think our summer is going to last much longer as the nights are beginning to “draw in” and there is a definite chill in the air, so let’s make the most of it and make a bright and cheerful summer themed card. Here is my card:
I have used a gorgeous image from sugar nellie stamps called “cherry pip” and coloured her with my promarkers. The papers are DCWV from the ‘sorbet’ paper pad and the cardstock is from the papermill shop. I think the colours are really fresh and definitely summery.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Corrosive challenge – girlie
Whoopsi daisy challenge – summer fun
Divas by design challenge – birthdays
My mum’s craft shop challenge – summer images or colours
Scrapbook sisters challenge – blue
Stampavie and more challenge – card for a girl
Aud sentiments challenge – anything goes
The sugar bowl challenge – sketch and option blue
Crafty Ann’s challenge – scallops/fancy borders
The poodles parlour challenge – anything goes
Sew many cards challenge – summertime
One stop craft challenge – bold and bright
I hope you will be able to join in with our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing what you create. I would like to welcome my newest followers KC and Sadie *waves hello*. Thanks for following me and I hope you will visit me often. I’ll be back later with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge but until then thanks for stopping by.
