Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning friends.  Thank goodness it’s Friday – the weekend starts here (well almost lol!).  I can’t believe how fast this week has flown by, but I’m not really complaining!  It’s time for a brand new challenge over at winter wonderland challenge and the lovely Marianne has set the theme and has chosen “red and green must not be seen” so she would like to see all your pink, blue, purple etc colours this week.  Of course we will allow a tiny sprig of holly coloured green but the main colours must not be red or green.  Here is my card:

WW #12 - red & green must not be seen

I have used a brand new image from DigiStamp Boutique and it is part of the “snow peeps collection” which is one of the July ‘Offers of the Month’.  There are two fantastic offers this month so pop over and check them out – you won’t be disappointed.  Sally-Ann has given you lots of additional mini images this month with the snow people so you can manipulate the images however you like e.g. the parcels are a separate image plus there are mistletoe, a stocking, a bauble and a star, which means the snow peeps can hold something different each time you use them.  Unfortunately I don’t have a photo manipulating program so I just had to print out the parcels in slightly different sizes and cut them out.  I still think they look cute though.  The papers I used are from a very old paper pack called ‘Christmas blues’ by dovecraft.

Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Stamps and the lucky winner will receive a $10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

The rest of the design team, including our guest designer Nic (aka Coops), have created amazing samples for your inspiration so please pop over and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Karen’s doodles challenge – double trouble (snowman and parcels are separate images)

Digital Tuesday challenge – bling it up (gems)

Papertake challenge – anything goes + option buttons

Little red wagon challenge – Christmas in July

The paper variety challenge – Christmas in July

Aud sentiments challenge – sentiment with at least 2 words

Do it with digis challenge – spots or stripes or both (swiss dots embossing folder and dots on scarf)

Moving along with the times challenge – Christmas in July

Shelly’s images challenge – celebrate (I’ve used 4 items - punches, bling, digi image and embossing)

Our creative corner challenge – 4th of July or Christmas in July

Sketch Saturday challenge – sketch

Ok, so that’s all from me today.  I hope you will be able to join in with our challenge and I can’t wait to see what you create.  Have a wonderful day (wrap up warm as it’s supposed to be quite stormy today) and thanks for stopping by.
