Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning everyone, thank goodness it’s Friday!!  Well I wish the weather would make up it’s mind, one minute it’s gorgeous sunshine and blue skies, the next it’s grey skies and pouring with rain.  I got drenched walking from work to the car park yesterday but at least they are promising a mini heat wave this weekend so that will make a nice change!  It will be nice to catch up with my mountain of washing, boring I know but I’m not a sunbathing type of person, but I think everyone is much happier when the sun is shining.

Anyway onto the reason for your visit – to see a card lol!  Over at the winter wonderland challenge we have a brand new challenge and it’s my turn to choose the theme.  Obviously it has to be a Christmas card but I want to see all your “pretty in pink” creations.  I would like it to be predominantly pink but I don’t mind a hint of other colours.  Here is my card:

WW #11 - pretty in pink

WW #11 - pretty in pink (close up)

I have used a gorgeous image from pollycraft called ‘cherry kisses – warm Christmas’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  The papers are dovecraft from the ‘Christmas fancy’ paper pack.  I think I went a bit overboard with the gems but they do look very sparkly and pretty IRL.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Aly’s Sunday challenge – all about kids

Sketch n stash challenge – sketch (used old embossing papers and new image)

Totally stampalicious challenge – something old, something new (new image, old embossing folder)

I love promarkers challenge – anything goes (2nd entry)

ABC Christmas challenge – M is for monochrome

Crafty creations challenge – let is shine (all my gems)

Creative belli challenge – embellishments beginning with G (gems)

Craft your days away challenge – monochrome

CCEE stampers challenge – include the colour pink

Crafty sentiments challenge – monochromatic

Do it with digis challenge – monochromatic

Rainbow lady’s challenge – use a digi

I hope you will have a chance to play along with my challenge and I look forward to seeing what you create.  Have a wonderful Friday and thanks for stopping by today.
