Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning dear friends, another week has flown by, but thank goodness it’s Friday!!  I hope you’ve had a good week so far.  Before I waffle on any further I would like to take the opportunity to wish my dad a very happy birthday – he’s 76 today.  Happy Birthday Dad, hope you have a wonderful day!

Onto my card – we have a new challenge over at winter wonderland challenge and the lovely Lynsey has set the theme of “swirls and pearls”.  A nice easy theme for you this week so we want to see lots of gorgeous entries.  Here is my card:

WW #10- swirls & pearls

WW #10 - swirls & pearls (close up)

I have used a brand new image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘cosy Polly’ from the ‘Polly penguin’ collection.  There are 3 new offers of the month for June and this cute penguin collection is one of the three.  Pop over to the shop and check them out, you won’t be disappointed.  I have used a scrap of paper that I’ve had in my stash for years and the layout is really simple.  Obviously I have included the obligatory swirls and pearls!

We are sponsored this week by Delicious Doodles and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples for your inspiration, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.
