Hello dear friends, I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend so far. I know this is an early post from me but I will be posting an extra special cupcake craft challenge post later…..so you must come back and find out the surprise lol!
I am here at this ungodly hour to share my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week our theme is ‘ribbon OR lace’. I had to make a birthday card for my FIL, whose birthday was yesterday, so combined the two! Now I can assure you that I have added a ribbon but stupidly covered most of it with my buttons lol! Here is my card:
I used this fab image from Karen’s doodles called ‘my fix it grandpa’ as my FIL is a keen DIY-er and loves pottering about. He is a very handy man to know!! I used very manly colours of blue and brown and kept the embellishments to a minimum. As I mentioned my barely visible ribbon (which has a star pattern on it) is almost covered with my die cut buttons d’oh!
The rest of the design team have created beautiful samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really love to read all the comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Cutie Sunday challenge – spots (on my paper)
Papertake challenge – sketch
The lollipop ladies challenge – ribbons
Cute card Thursday challenge – use a sketch from blogland (I used papertake challenge sketch)
Digi doodle challenge – anything goes
Moving along with the times challenge – anything goes
Paper cutz challenge – anything goes
Totally gorjuss challenge – 123 (1 image, 2 buttons, 3 papers)
Bunny Zoe’s challenge – one for the boys
Here comes the boys challenge – anything goes
So I hope you will be able to enter our challenge and I look forward to seeing what you create. I would like to welcome my newest followers scrappychick aka Cyndi, Deb.x and Wendy Bridges, thanks girls I really appreciate your support of my blog. I will pop over and return the favour soon I promise. I also cannot believe I am now at 800 followers, it is something that I can honestly say I never thought I would achieve and I want to let you know that all your comments and support are truly appreciated – so a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. Ok enough of the soppy stuff lol! I’ll be back at 6am with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
